The Impact of External Personnel Marketing Strategy on Brand Awareness of Customers

This research analyzes the impact of external personnel marketing strategy using 7ps on brand awareness of students in the technological universities in Egypt. Two questionnaires were prepared and distributed. The research was applied on 254 faculty members of the whole technological universities in Egypt (Cairo, Quesna, and Beni Suef) and 280 students of these universities. The results indicated that there is a positive significant effect of external personnel marketing strategy using 7Ps (individually and collectively) on brand awareness. The study proposed a number of recommendations.

The widespread access of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) enables contemporary consumers to assess the opinions of others, irrespective of geographical boundaries, about products and services. This research examines the impact of e-WOM on building international brand awareness when the former is used as a core part of a company's overall digital marketing strategy. By applying the survey methodology, the findings provide support for this positive effect; namely, the integration of e-WOM in the overall digital marketing strategy and activities applied by an organization can enhance brand awareness beyond country borders and contribute towards the overall organizational effectiveness and success. Taken together, the study provides further insight into eWOM and cross-border brand awareness relationship and outlines several questions that deserve further study.

This research aims to study the effects of social media marketing strategies on the repurchase intention among suppliers of halal cosmetics in the context of Malaysia. The study, based on the theory of social media marketing, identifies these ties, and considers the mediating functions of word-of-mouth brand recognition and electronic word-of-mouth communication (e-WOM). The work takes a holistic view of brand recognition and e-WOM with reference to the two main relations, social media marketing strategy and repurchasing intention. The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method was employed and data collected from 300 respondents (followers) via an online questionnaire. The results indicate that there is a significant influence of social media marketing (SMM) on repurchase intention, brand awareness, and e-WOM; the impact is higher on brand awareness, followed by repurchase intention and eWOM. These results demonstrate that efficient brand management of the use of social media platforms will help increase brand awareness among halal cosmetics buyers. When used correctly, SMM may assist the distribution and communication of the most up-to-date information on cosmetic products and brands, resulting in increased awareness and repurchase intent. At the same time, eWOM is a useful tool for their respective followers to disseminate information. The research has important implications for the halal cosmetics sector, as it contributes to the theoretical and management literature on social media marketing strategy.

Advertising is more then just informing audience.  In conducting its marketing strategy, higher education institution use advertising as a tool to communicate information and shape perceptions. This study tried to analyze the impact of advertising campaigns against the formation of brand awareness and brand perception of the higher education institution which then affect the prospective student’s decision to choose the right higher education institution for them. Using a prospective student respondents, the study found that brand awareness does not have a significant influence on their decision, if not supported by brand perception of higher education institution. At the age of 24, in 2013 (the period of January to December 2013), Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI) has been retaining the position of market leader with a 17.8% audience share reached. Based on that, RCTI needs to maintain to foster and expand the public watching interest on their program. This study aims to determine the effect of marketing strategy and marketing communications on brand awareness and the impact on the public watching interest on their program. The method used is associative-survey research methods. Data collection techniques are done by using a questionnaire distributed to the public viewers of RCTI and by making interviews to the Senior Manager. Data analysis techniques used is path analysis. As a result, there is a positive and significant effect of the variables of marketing strategy and marketing communications on brand awareness and the impact on public watching interest on RCTI.

In this article we present a conceptual of the effect of cross culture on consumer behavior incorporating the impact of globalization. This conceptual idea shows that culture inûuences various domains of consumer behavior directly as well as through international organization to implement marketing strategy. The conceptual identify several factors such as norm and value in the community, several variables and also depicts the impact of other environmental factors and marketing strategy elements on consumer behavior. We also identify categories of consumer culture orientation resulting from globalization. Highlights of each of the several other articles included in this special issue in Asia region. We conclude with the contributions of the articles in terms of the consumer cultural orientations and identify directions for future research.

This empirical study show that the impact of all styles was well moderate. The means of effect of all styles were less than 3 out of 5. It means the expected impact of transformational affect upon the all dimensions of the activities, are not expected due to the traditional styles of leadership and the lack of information about the transformational leadership styles which can guide leaders to use such styles in the organization which may be this results due to lack of trained leaders and necessary knowledge with the leaders in all universities about transformational styles the traditional form of the leadership styles which used by the university leaders affect the communication between all levels of the administration and the faculty members which has consequence because decrease in motivation and a self-consideration from the administration.

ABSTRACT This article proposes a partnership of state medical boards with medical schools to supplement professionalism and ethics education for medical students, residents, physicians and faculty members of medical institutions. The importance of professionalism has been recognized by several studies, but a specific method of teaching and developing professionalism has yet to emerge. Studies suggest that there is an association between a lack of professionalism in medical school and future disciplinary actions by medical boards. However, there has been little collaboration between these institutions in addressing unprofessional behaviors. One collaborative concept that holds promise, however, is the idea of inviting medical students to attend physician disciplinary hearings. Students and physicians alike report that watching a hearing can significantly impact attitudes about professionalism as a part of medical practice. While formal research is scarce, the positive response of individual students who experience disciplinary hearings firsthand suggests that further pilot studies may be useful. Presented in this paper are the perspectives of three individuals — a medical student, a faculty member and a medical board chair — who discuss the impact and potential of attending disciplinary hearings in developing professionalism and ethics. Also included is a review of the current literature.

The issues of accountability and increased public concern have contributed to widespread institutional self-examination and to a greater emphasis placed on assessing the impact of college attendance. This study focuses on 36 items in the ACT College Outcomes Survey to identify specific areas of personal and social gain where students percieved colleges to have the greatest impact. Identification of these general constructs provides guidance for college administrators and faculty members on areas where the colleges can focus their attention to achieve their greatest impact.
