Natural fibres with variable properties are found in many engineering applications because of its low cost and biodegradability .The selection of suitable fibres involves the evaluation of a number of alternatives based on certain criteria. The purpose of this study is to suggest the use of analytical hierarchy process (AHP) in the selection of natural fibres for hybrid laminated composites. It was found that the most suitable natural fibre to be used with Kevlar 29 in hybrid laminated composites is kenaf fibre. It is expected that this finding will significantly contribute to the development of hybrid laminated composites for vehicle ballistic protection.

<p>One of the most important elements for the company is to introduce their products (services) to prospective customers. Hypnosis For Healing is a company engaged in services. One key to the success of this company especially to attract clients is through the promotion of this company so that it is known by many more people. It requires the selection of appropriate media in accordance with the consideration of criteria such as low cost, wide coverage. These service companies require appropriate promotional media. This study aims to find a suitable promotional media on HFH company. The research was conducted in the end of 2010. The analytical tool used is Analytical /various alternatives based on several criteria. The results of this study show that the internet is a major media as a promotional tool to introduce to the general public.</p><p> </p><p>Keywords : Methods of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Promotional media.</p>

The high public interest in the ownership of decent and cheap housing, so fertile the business of Kredit Perumahan Rakyat (KPR). The rapid growth of housing-based mortgages due to the subsidy from the government so that people have the ease of a minimum of the price. Even sometimes found housing developers who offer low-cost advance materials until no down payment. As a result, the quality of buildings, facilities, and legality rumahpun sidelined. This will obviously harm society in the future. Therefore, the community must have the ability in determining the KPR which with various criteria that will be able to prevent society from loss. This study aims to analyze the factors of priority in the selection of housing KPR. This method is done through the application of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Based on the results of the calculation analysis that has been done, then sequentially the criteria that the highest priority is the criteria of Building Quality, House Price, Advances, Location, Licensing, and Facilities.

Segara Anakan is a lagoon located in estuary area of Citanduy and Cibeureum rivers. The main problem that exists in the region Segara Anakan is a shrinking area of Segara Anakan lead lagoon function becomes ineffective due to the increased volume of sediment in estuaries Citanduy. Refinement Segara Anakan will impact annual floods that occurred in the area downstream Citanduy. Have far-reaching is the decline in fish production, which makes the source of livelihood for the community residents of Kampung Laut, furthermore, the environmental changes that occurred in the area Segara Anakan have resulted in shrinking coastal fisheries resources and the expansion of land arising from silting. Assessment of the problem conducted by the method of approach of Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) to obtain the best alternatives among three alternatives being offered to sustain the function of Segara Anakan Lagoon. These three alternatives include the 1) Dredging the Lagoon and Upstream Watershed Conservation; 2) Dredging the Lagoon and Reclamation Work around Segara Anakan, and 3) Dredging the Lagoon and Citanduy Diversion. Some criteria and sub-criteria are adapted to support the selection of the alternatives and related questionnaires were developed, and the questionnaire filling was carried out through the implementation of Focus Group of Discussion or FGD. The criteria include several aspects of the criteria and sub-criteria are technical (floods, silting), socioeconomic (the tourist area, the local economy), as well as the environment (fisheries/shipping, agriculture and mangrove forests). Results of the analysis applying the AHP method showed the consistent value on the Alternative 3), i.e. the Dredging of the Lagoon and the Upstream Watershed Conservation (38%).

Natural fibres namely sisal, jute, kenaf, hemp, abaca and banana are mainly used in industries for developing Natural fibres composites. They find many applications such as automobiles, furniture, packing and construction due to many merits such as their low cost, good mechanical properties, non-toxic, low weight, less damage to processing equipment, improved surface finish, abundant and renewable resources. The objective of this paper is to review the applications of various kenaf fibre reinforced polymer composites which will provide a base for further research in this area.

This research is purposed to formulate model of slum settlement policy in Nusa Tenggara Barat Province. Method used in this study is mixed method with data collection method is Purposive Sampling and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Study discussion is resulting in alternative policy of settlement policy in Nusa Tenggara Barat Province, Indonesia that is: (1) demolition of slum area; (2) opening job vacancy; (3) providing low-cost housing; (4) providing loans from banks; and (5) flats. From these alternative policies, it is aimed to raise standard of living in Nusa Tenggara Barat province, especially in the area of study and eliminating slums area to achieve the correct urban planning.

This study aims to be able to provide recommendations in the decision-making system related to the best lecturers at the Jakarta Chapter of the Indonesian Management Lecturer Forum. It is hoped that the research results can be used as input in the Best Lecturer decision making system with a more systematic system. This research was conducted through interviews, questionnaires and literature study related to the Lecturer profession. In the field, the assessment criteria are still rough, therefore this study must include all the criteria into the mechanism, rules, and codes. Analysis, each criterion is analyzed using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method in weighting. The cumulative results of the recapitulation of scores show that teaching is still a top priority in the implementation of the Tridaharma of Lecturers, after that the second priority is research, then community service and finally support in the form of participation in supporting activities and scientific development.

Private companies, government agencies and educational institutions are still experiencing difficulties in selecting employees / employees who are in accordance with their needs and experts in their respective fields. With the increasing number of workers who have different abilities, recruiting new employees requires selection of prospective employees at Ekasakti University, because if this is done manually, it will make it difficult for the staff to receive and also be prone to mistakes in decision making. The decision making system method (Decisions Support System) can be used to help the selection of new employee recipients with the AHP Method. Selection of new employee admissions by the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method can help solve the case of selecting employee recruitment. The model of applying dynamic logic applied in the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) has the advantage that the selection process provides very flexible results
