Sheared edge quality of micro IT parts is an important standard to evaluate product quality. In this paper, a prediction model of sheared edge quality based on grey prediction is studied. By mapping the stroke and the burr width to be the time increment and the eigenvalue of grey system, the grey prediction model was established. The dynamic regularity of burr in actual production was attained from the precision blanking experiment and the prediction of burr width was performed. The results show that the model can predict burr width accurately and needs less sampling data. Thus, it is fit for the requirement of manufacturing.

Image filtering can change or enhance an image by emphasizing or removing certain features of the image. An image is a system in which some information is known and some information is unknown. Grey system theory is an important method for dealing with this kind of system, and grey correlation analysis and grey prediction modeling are important components of this method. In this paper, a fractional grey prediction model based on a filtering algorithm by combining a grey correlation model and a fractional prediction model is proposed. In this model, first, noise points are identified by comparing the grey correlation and the threshold value of each pixel in the filter window, and then, through the resolution coefficient of the important factor in image processing, a variety of grey correlation methods are compared. Second, the image noise points are used as the original sequence by the filter pane. The grey level of the middle point is predicted by the values of the surrounding pixel points combined with the fractional prediction model, replacing the original noise value to effectively eliminate the noise. Finally, an empirical analysis shows that the PSNR and MSE of the new model are approximately 27 and 140, respectively; these values are better than those of the comparison models and achieve good processing effects.

According to the new information priority principle of grey system, this paper tries to optimize the traditional multivariate grey prediction model. Firstly, the basic theory of the traditional grey prediction model is put forward. Based on this, the background value is improved by using the new information priority principle, and the cumulative generation with parameters is defined. Taking the settlement trend of A4# building of an engineering project in Anhui province as an example, the model is applied to the settlement analysis, and the proposed model is compared with the existing grey prediction model, the average percentage absolute error between the predicted value and the observed value is calculated, and the regression graphs of each model are drawn. Through the analysis, we can see that the established model has achieved a good effect, and then verified the practicability and reliability of the proposed model.

A comparison between fine and conventional blanking is carried out in this paper. In the fine blanking process, V-ring indentation is applied to create hydrostatic pressure and prevent premature fracture in an undesired direction. Furthermore, a small clearance between the punch and die is employed along with a counterforce punch that causes concentrated strain in the sheared band region. A fracture mechanics oriented finite element procedure has been employed in this research work in order to obtain the fracture path. The fracture path is found according to the stress and strain histories which are calculated in each element. The numerical results have shown that the sheared edge quality in the blanking process is strongly influenced by the fracture path. In fine blanking, there are various parameters affecting the sheared edge quality and dimensional accuracy. The finite element calculation is carried out for an axisymmetric model. The commercial finite element code ABAQUS V6.2 is employed along with a controlling program that is written in Visual BASIC.

With the development of human society, the evolving transition of energy will become a common challenge that mankind has to face together. In this context, it is crucial to make scientific and reasonable predictions about energy consumption. This paper presents a novel fractional grey prediction model FGM(1,1,k2) based on the classical fractional grey system theory. In order to improve the prediction accuracy of the FGM(1,1,k2) model, we further analyze the model error and propose improved grey model called as SFGM with optimization of background value. The numerical cases point out that SFGM(1,1,k2) significantly outperforms other existing fractional grey models. Finally, the proposed SFGM(1,1,k2) is applied to the forecasting of oil consumption, the predicted results would provide a reference for making energy policy in new situations.

The empirical approach was adopted to investigate the process parameters that effect on the quality of high strength steel sheet sheared edge. As a result of study, the quality of sheared edge that can be represented as the ratio of the shiny burnished surface to the sheared surface was not under influence of die clearance, lubrication and cutting line direction but under influence of the material strength and the usage of lower pad. The roll-over and burr height is highly affected by the die clearance and the usage of lower pad. The lower pad underneath of blank is of help to reduce the amount of roll-over and burr even at large die clearance.

The progress of the Islamic bank cannot be separated from the role of its customers who give trust to the bank to deposit their financial assets. It is a fact many groups of customers decide to be the customers of the Islamic bank because of their religiosity. The other influences factor of a customer’s decision is the quality of the product. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of product quality and level of customers’ religiosity towards customers’ decision whether to keep their funds in Syariah Mandiri Bank, Branch of Purwokerto, or not. The analytical tool used was multiple linear regression analysis, with a sample of 100 customers. The results indicate Y = 5,046 + 0,101X1 + 0,218X2. Based on F, it can be seen that both variables of product quality and religiosity simultanously affect the customers’ decision to keep theirfunds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto. Based on t test, it can be seen that independently, either variable of product quality or variables of religiosityinfluences the customers’ decision to keep their funds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto.
