Syllabus is not only a programmatic document of guiding the teaching, organizing teach, develop lesson plans, writing the main basis of the teaching materials and teaching quality inspection, but also an important part of the course building and course evaluation, which plays an important role in talent training, in the meanwhile, which determines teaching management work whether successfully or not. It was necessary to know the questions existing in syllabus, analysis the cause of the questions and proposed corresponding solving ways so as to a reference of syllabus.

Higher education and traditional forms of teaching and management system are difficult to adapt to the individualized requirements and the cultivation of personalized talents. higher education information technology is a new trend in the world, and it plays an important role in promoting universities personalized education and innovation, training personnel, improving the integrated use of the excellent teaching resources, deepening teaching management reform and improving the teaching management level, enhancing teaching quality of advanced manufacturing engineering. Colleges and universities should attach great importance to the building and information on the quality of the teaching environment of information technology and promote information technology in education for major of manufacturing engineering.

This article has research and design a set of educational administration system in view of the actual situation and specific requirements of the educational administration management work in college.System has adopted the building model combined of B/S structure and C/S structure. It combined the advantages of them. The ASP.NET language is used and the SQL Server2000 as the database platform. Emphasis is placed on the teaching plan management module, course management module, teacher management module and the design of teaching quality evaluation module of the educational administration management system. And focus on setting up a model conforms on the concept logic structure of curriculum arrangement, and make a detailed implementation.

Teaching quality evaluation (TQE) can not only improve teachers’ teaching skills, but also provide an important reference for school teaching management departments to formulate teaching reform measures and strengthen teaching management. TQE is a process of grading and ranking a given teachers based on the comprehensive consideration of multiple evaluation criteria by expert. The Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM), as a powerful aggregation function, can capture the correlation among multiple input data more efficient. Although multitude weighted MSM operators have been developed to handle the Pythagorean fuzzy decision issues, these above operators do not possess the idempotency and reducibility during the procedure of information fusion. To conquer these defects, we present the Pythagorean fuzzy reducible weighted MSM (PFRWMSM) operator and Pythagorean fuzzy reducible weighted geometric MSM (PFRWGMSM) operator to fuse Pythagorean fuzzy assessment information. Meanwhile, several worthwhile properties and especial cases of the developed operators are explored at length. Afterwards, we develop a novel Pythagorean fuzzy entropy based upon knowledge measure to ascertain the weights of attribute. Furthermore, an extended weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) method is developed by combining the PFRWMSM operator, PFRWGMSM operator and entropy to settle the decision problems of unknown weight information. The efficiency of the proffered method is demonstrated by a teaching quality evaluation issue, as well as the discussion of sensitivity analysis for decision outcomes. Consequently, a comparative study of the presented method with the extant Pythagorean fuzzy approaches is conducted to display the superiority of the propounded approach.

This case study examines the design, implementation and cultural challenges of delivering an online university course to a group of 21 Mainland Chinese educators. Culturally influenced challenges included: culturally different learning styles, inhibited online communication, and language issues. A mid-course survey and an end of the semester course evaluation tool provided anecdotal data to facilitate enacting solutions for the challenges presented in the design and delivery of the course.

Abstract. Based on the talent training goals and requirements of applied undergraduate colleges, how to effectively solve the various difficulties and pain points encountered in the teaching of professional courses in applied undergraduate colleges is a new subject faced by applied undergraduate colleges. This paper comprehensively and thoroughly clarifies the pain points of “data structure and algorithm” in application undergraduate course: teaching (syllabus, teachers and teaching materials, teaching methods), management (administrative staff, classroom management), learning (source of students, learning basis, learning atmosphere) ; focuses on the corresponding solutions: teaching (syllabus should highlight the “three goals”, teaching staff should achieve the “three combinations”, teaching materials should reflect the “three natures”, theoretical teaching should highlight the “three characteristics”, practical teaching should highlight the “three natures”), management (administrative staff should achieve the “three insistences”, classroom management should grasp the “three degrees”), learning (promoting the quality of students through high-quality employment, laying a solid foundation of C language theory and practice, and strengthening the education, management and supervision of study style) .The purpose is to ensure that the training of talents meets the requirements and standards of OBE-based engineering education certification. The teaching of related professional courses in similar universities can be used for reference.

Objective: To study the effect of Project-Based Learning (PBL) teaching method in lung cancer nursing teaching and its influence on knowledge awareness rates. Methods: The research subjects were 50 nursing interns who entered the same hospital for internship in 2020. The numerical ranking method was used for blind-selection and grouping, where 25 nursing interns were divided into the control group and the internship group each. Among them, the nursing interns in the control group adopted routine nursing teaching management, and the nursing interns in the training group used PBL teaching method for teaching management. The teaching satisfaction rate, teaching quality and knowledge awareness rate of the two groups were compared. Results: Nursing interns in the practice group were better than the control group in their nursing knowledge awareness rate and teaching satisfaction rate after adopting the PBL teaching method, and p<0.05. Conclusion: Through the implementation of PBL teaching method in the clinical nursing teaching of elderly lung cancer in conjunction with cancer nursing related problems, on-site answering is carried out in the way of nursing internship, so that the knowledge of nursing students in the practicing stage will be more in-depth, and the effects and quality of the nursing internship have been steadily improved, which has certain value of promotion in teaching.

To improve the university teaching quality, and towards ABET accreditation, it is imperative to assess each course offered and provide feedback to instructors to evaluate the course outcomes and their relationship to the overall program outcomes in order to enhance the teaching methodologies and techniques. This paper aims at presenting the automation of the course assessment in the multi-campus common exams Lebanese International University by introducing two dynamic Excel Tools. The first one is the course section grading tool used by the instructor to evaluate his students and generate an assessment report. The second tool is the statistical tool that collects all class sections data and provides a statistical report including the course outcomes scores and the score of each program outcome. The coordinator uses this report to analyze the results, synthesizes the instructor recommendations, and proposes corrective actions to close the loop of continuous improvement.

PurposeThe current evaluation standards in German higher education institutions (HEIs) do not often lead to measurable quality improvement. The purpose of this paper is to critically evaluate whether Kaizen can improve the quality of teaching. The presented concept illustrates the evaluation of each course unit to continuously encourage quality feedback from the learners and intensify the exchange with lecturers.Design/methodology/approachAction research is used to combine the continuous improvement philosophy of Kaizen with student course evaluations. A pilot study of the concept provides data from four course cycles to analyze learnings and setbacks.FindingsLearners in the pilot courses welcomed the intense participation and allowed improvements to elements such as course concept, course material, presentation style and content or detail selection. The participation rate declined during each term and was highly influenced by triggers like exam and grade relevance. Kaizen could successfully improve course quality, especially in the first two years of newly developed courses.Research limitations/implicationsThe presented results have been collected from one course over four years in one institution. The next stage of research would be the application of the approach in other institutions to validate results and make potential adjustments to the concept, for example, toward continuous learning.Originality/valueAlthough course evaluation has become standard in German HEIs, most institutions only implement it once per term or year. This paper discusses a new approach to expedite the evaluation of teaching quality at the point of action (Gemba) to facilitate the short-term reactions of lecturers.
