Background: Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is a rare entity typically occurring in patients in hypercoagulable states. They can also occur in cases of trauma. The symptoms are nonspecific. Case Description: A 28-year-old male presented to the emergency department with a head injury. During the necessary imaging, it was found that he had a depressed skull fracture and other signs of traumatic brain injury. Unbeknownst to the patient and the patient party, it was also revealed that the patient only had one kidney. Wound debridement and excision of the depressed fracture were performed. A postoperative MRI revealed that the patient had CVT. Conclusion: There should be a high index of suspicion for CVT in case of traumatic head injuries. The surgeon should plan management according to the patient’s comorbidities.

With the rapid development of the economy, the integration of corporate strategic management and human resource management has become an issue of concern. This research mainly discusses the role of intelligent communication management terminal in the construction of human resource management mode. In this research, the system development process of this research mainly uses the class library in the software architecture layer to support the software development process. The main development language of Android, JAVA, is to install the Android Develop Tools plug-in on eclipse and install the Android SDK in the computer operating system to build the Android development environment. The development and application of the system not only make the enterprise managers more convenient and efficient in the process of managing the enterprise but also smooth the operation of the enterprise while reducing the human resource investment and also gives the employees more right to know and the right to participate in the enterprise construction. By creating more value while reducing human resource input, enterprises will enable it to obtain more benefits, and thus enter a cycle of good development and contribute to society. The system has the functions of personnel management, recruitment management, attendance management, training management, work management, and salary management. The recruitment management function of the system is mainly composed of recruitment plan management, recruitment information management, and talent pool. In the system’s recruitment plan management function, important information such as the recruitment part, the number of recruits, personnel requirements, and the specific arrival time of the personnel must be clarified. The personnel in charge of the enterprise personnel department shall conduct corresponding regulations according to the specific needs of the enterprise and shall be experienced by the personnel department. The review is carried out, and all parts of the enterprise are coordinated and completed at the same time. In the platform performance test, when the number of concurrent users reaches 50000, the request time is about 6 seconds, which meets the requirement that the response time of 10000 people per second is less than 10 seconds. This research puts forward suggestions and countermeasures for the optimization of human resource management, which can not only improve the efficiency of Y company’s human resource management but also provide useful reference and reference for other enterprises facing the same problem.

AbstractPortal hypertension is characterized by elevated pressure in portal venous system due to portal resistance due to various causes. The etiologies are either pre-hepatic, hepatic, or post-hepatic. Elevated portal pressure results in varices at various sites some of which are difficult to identify on endoscopy alone. Other manifestations of elevated portal pressure include portal gastropathy, enteropathy, colopathy, gastric antral vascular ectasia, and ascites. Imaging plays an essential role in diagnosis and imaging of various manifestations of portal hypertension by determining the locations of varices and plan the management for same. Endoscopy helps in visualizing mucosal varices but newer imaging modalities give a panoramic extent of the disease in the entire gastrointestinal tract with great specificity and sensitivity. Initially, Barium study was used to determine esophageal or gastric varices, computed tomography provides detailed anatomic information which can be used to plan management. Due to advancement in imaging and interventional techniques, treatment for varices has seen advent of multiple minimally invasive interventional radiological techniques. A brief outlook on anatomical aspect of varices and various recent advances in management of the same has been provided. Overall knowledge of the various imaging manifestations of portal hypertension can be helpful to evaluate prognosis and plan proper management.

The project team maintains workflow continuity as much as possible to deliver products on time. Nevertheless, poor construction management makes the workflow unstable during the construction process, which leads to the delayed delivery of the building. As different methods to improve production efficiency, Lean Construction and Building Information Modelling (BIM) have a positive impact on the industry. Although many researches have shown the unique advantages of the Last Planner System (LPS) and BIM Technology, the advantages of their integration have not been fully exploited. This paper explores the application of the LPS and BIM in the construction phase through a project that transforms from traditional construction process planning to the use of the LPS. The project results show the impact of the LPS and BIM as lean methods on the project, which can improve the workflow of the construction project by improving efficiency and coordination.

Introduction: Although cardiopulmonary resuscitation is an emergency life-saving procedure, the intervention itself can cause major and often fatal injuries, with diaphragmatic rupture being very rare. This report describes a patient who experienced bilateral pneumothoraces, left diaphragmatic rupture, and pneumoperitoneum after extended cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Case presentation: A 90-year-old woman experienced a cardiac arrest. Spontaneous circulation was restored after 49 min of cardiopulmonary resuscitation performed by a bystander, emergency medical service providers, and emergency department staff. Imaging showed bilateral pneumothoraces, left diaphragmatic rupture, and massive pneumoperitoneum. The patient’s guardian refused to permit surgery for the diaphragmatic rupture, and the patient died despite chest and abdominal decompression and post-cardiac arrest care. Discussion and conclusion: Procedures to restore spontaneous circulation in patients experiencing cardiac arrest may result in fatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation–related injuries. Clinicians providing post-cardiac arrest care should plan management for these iatrogenic injuries.
