Grade of fluorite in this test is 30.95%,containing CaCO3 0.86%. On the base of much experiment research, such as grinding fineness test, pH test, agent dosage test and so on, the optimum conditions were: grinding fineness for first stage is -0.074mm 65%,pH=9, sodium silicate 0.8 kg/t and oleic acid 0.7 kg/t . The result of tests showed that the grade of CaF2 concentrate, recovery and productivity are 95.38%, 63.42% and31.20% by adopting a circuit of one rough flotation and seven concentrating with grinding fineness -0.043mm90.3%.

P2O5/CaCl2/Fe3O4 composite catalysts for the esterification of oleic acid was proposed. Optimum conditions for the esterification of oleic acid to produce methyl ester of oleic acid were investigated which yielded a maximum conversion of oleic acid to the methyl ester. The variables were: 1) temperature and time of reaction; 2) amounts of catalyst and 3) ratio of alcohol to fatty acid.

The research has conducted a experimental research on the issues in modifier of flotation process in a molybdenum ore concentrating mill in Inner Mongolia. The results show that: when the raw ore is grinded into 61% -200 meshes, which is the same to the site production ore, the sorting index is optimum in neutral magma condition; and for dispersing agent, the sorting effect of sodium silicate is better than sodium hexametaphosphate, and the confirmed sufficient quality of sodium silicate is 300g/t.

This paper adopts sedimentation experiment to study the sedimentation process of one molybdenum ore flotation tailings and to investigate the effects of lime and sodium silicate on sedimentation performance of tailings. Through the experiment on sedimentation speed and compressive layer density, it reveals the sedimentation performance rules of these tailings. Meanwhile, it explores the effects of lime and sodium silicate on sedimentation dry beach of tailings. The research shows that: lime could effectively ameliorate the non-easy sedimentation caused by sodium silicate; when the dosage of sodium silicate is 300~800g/t, the sedimentation performance can reach the best reasonable pH value 9-10. Besides, the study also indicates that both sodium silicate and lime are unfavorable to form sedimentation dry beach by tailings of concentrating mill.

AbstractRenewable biodiesel with a high content of n-C17 alkanes was prepared through the catalytic hydrodeoxygenation of oleic acid under optimum conditions of temperature, reaction time and weight percentage of Ni deposited in γ-Al2O3. The hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) was blended with petrodiesel (20 % and 40 % of HVO) to evaluate its behaviour in a diesel engine. Comparative studies of power and emission of atmospheric pollutants such as NOx, CO, HC and smoke were evaluated under prepared blends and petrodiesel. The presence of HVO biodiesel at full load generated a slight decrease in power compared to petrodiesel; however, the decrease in emission of pollutants when using the blends containing HVO was significant. In the case of 40 % HVO were able to reduce more of 20 % of CO and HC emissions, and more than 40 % reduction in smoke when compared with petrodiesel. The NOx emissions of the blends with HVO had a significant slightly decrease. Further, the properties of Ni/γ-Al2O3 catalysts are justified by the results of EDS characterization, surface area (SBET), XRD, XPS, HR-TEM and it’s capacity to produce biodiesel.

Taking molybdenum tailings as the research object, the methods of recovering phlogopite on the base of comprehensive utilizations of other valuable minerals has been discussed. The best flotation condition includes that pulp density is 25%, the value of pH is 8.4, and the spindle speed of the batch flotation cell is 1850 r/min, sodium silicate is used as the silicate inhibitor, sodium oleate as collector, alkyl amine as the foaming agent. After cleaning and scavenging, the yield of the recovery and grade of concentrated phlogopite could be reached above 40% and 9.5%, and the yield of recovery and grade of scavenged phlogopite could be reached above 20% and 7.0%. The experimental research may provide the theoretical and experimental basis for phlogopite flotation from molybdenum tailings.

The run-of-mine ore samples which have been used in the study were taken from a fluorite ore. The grade of fluorite was 28.65%. From the condition test, the optimal grinding fineness was-0.074mm accounted for 79.5%. The final optimal reagent system was A1B3C3D3E3 with comprehensive consideration. That is, sodium carbonate was 2000 g/t, sodium silicate was 1000 g/t, aluminum sulfate was 200 g/t, sodium hexametaphosphate usage was 1000 g/t, oleic acid dosage for 2000 g/t. Through the closed-circuit test of flotation, the final index was the fluorite grade of the concentrate was 97.69% and the recovery was 48.07%.

Experiment research of polishing based on liquid two-dimension vibration is carried out by a vibrating device which is driven by ultrasonic source and can produce coupling vibrations of liquid. Sound pressures of some key points in water are tested by hydrophone and translated into sound intensity to evaluate the effect of input voltage of transducer. It is analyzed which vibration state of fluid field and the way that workpiece is clamped is the best for the polishing. Polishing results of quartz glass are evaluated by the use of region-track measure method, and some polishing rules are presented.

The purpose of the study is to determine whether or not the effectiveness of inquiry approach and jigsaw model on the interest of 4th grade students. Type of research is experimental research with quasi experiment research. The data analysis technique uses t-test with Independent Sample t-Test. The result of t-test that has been obtained t-counted 4,453 and significance level 0,000. Result of data analysis to know t-table can be seen that t-table obtained equal to 2,021. Because of t-count>t-table (4,453>2,021) and significance 0,000<0,05 then Ha accepted, there is effectiveness of inquiry approach and jigsaw model on the interest of 4th grade student.

A scheelite concentrate, containing 32% WO3, obtained from an indigenous tungsten ore of Chitral, NWFP, Pakistan, has been beneficiated by froth flotation technique to produce high quality tungsten concentrate assaying 64.8% WO3 with 84.47% recovery. This paper presents results on the optimization of flotation parameters like pH, pulp density and reagents. The optimum grade and recovery have been obtained at a feed size of 80 % passing 74 μm, pulp pH of 10.5, pulp solids 25%, oleic acid 0.30 kg/t, polyglycol 0.02 kg/t and sodium silicate 0.125 kg/t of the feed. The obtained tungsten concentrate meets the specifications required to produce tungsten metal and tungsten based chemicals.
