Management of Ellis Class III Fracture in Two Maxillary Incisivus

Introduction. Trauma injury in the oral cavity due to collisions can cause tooth fracture. Ellis class III fracture is a fracture of the crown with an open pulp. Teeth with exposed pulp will cause irritation of the pulp resulting in pulp inflammation (pulpitis). One visit pulpectomy and jacket crown with posts were carried out to achieve optimal dental functions. Case report. A 27-year-old male patient came to Dental Hospital of Universitas Gadjah Mada complained about his broken front teeth due to accident three days earlier. The crown of the maxillary right lateral incisor and the maxillary left central incisor with open pulp was seen. The tooth 11 was avulsion, which lost at the location of accident. The diagnosis of 12 and 21 were Ellis class III fracture. Initially an infiltration anaesthesia was done, followed by one visit root canal treatment (RCT). On the second visit, the teeth were asymptomatic, hence the jacket crown preparation and fiber post insertion were performed. On the third visit, a porcelain jacket crown was cemented into teeth 12 and 21. A week later the patient came for recall and no complaints were noted. Conclusion. One visit pulpectomy followed by restoration with porcelain crown and fiber posts can be undertaken to achieve the optimal functions of teeth, namely aesthetic, mastication, phonetics, and protection of supporting tissues function.

<p><strong><em>Background: </em></strong><em>Telescopic double crown restoration can be used as an alternative treatment if the patient wants the tooth to be maintained as long as the supporting tooth has a healthy periodontal. In dental preparation telescopic double crown support requires a preparation guide so that the preparation can be acurate. Minimal preparation can cause the results of the telescopic double crown restoration to be overcontoured, so that the patient may occur uncomfortable, speech disorders and esthetic is not good. <strong>Objective:</strong> to provide information about the importance teeth preparation guidelines for prosthodontic treatment with telescopic double crown restorations. <strong>Case: </strong>A 72-year-old female patient, coming to the dentist wants to make dentures so that she can chew food well and improve her appearance. The remaining teeth are only 13 and 23. In making the denture, the patient wants the teeth to be retained (not removed) and the denture is aesthetically good. <strong>Case Management: </strong>Make a diagnostic wax-up on a semiadjustable articulator to estimate the results of restoration, </em><em>mould</em><em> </em><em>the patient's teeth before starting the preparation with three times putty for the preparation guide and making a temporary crown. the first putty mold is cut mesial-distal right in the middle of the incical teeth, the second putty mould is cut in the labial-palatal direction right in the middle of the tooth mould, the third putty mould is fixed on the stock tray to make the temporary crown. Preparation of teeth 13 and 23 with regard to the putty cut preparation guide, then moulding the maxilla and mandibula with double impressions using an individual tray, after that make the temporary crown directly with the third putty mould. <strong>Conclusion: </strong>The preparation guide of teeth is very necessary so that the making of telescopic double crown restorations is not overcontoured, so that esthetic and retention can be achieved which are good and do not cause speech disorders.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> Telescopic double crown, tooth preparation guide, esthetic</em></p><p><strong><em>Correspondence:</em></strong><em> Anindita Apsari. SUMMARY This study aimed to evaluate the cementation and mechanical behavior of flared root canals restored with CAD/CAM milled glass fiber post-and-core systems. Sixty-six endodontically treated human canines with a flared root canal were divided into three different groups according to the type of post: GPF received prefabricated posts; GREL received relined glass fiber posts, and GMILLED received CAD/CAM milled glass fiber posts. Cementation was performed with self-adhesive resin cement. The samples were submitted to x-ray microcomputed tomography analysis for the analysis of voids and gaps. The roots were sectioned and submitted to the push-out bond strength test. The load-to-fracture was evaluated in post-and-core systems. GMILLED presented lower void and lower gap volumes when compared to GPF and GREL. On the load-to-fracture test, GREL presented statistically significant higher values than GMILLED. GPF values had no statistically significant difference from the two other groups. On the push-out bond strength test, GPF presented statistically significant lower values when compared to GREL and GMILLED. The most common failure pattern was between dentin and cement in all groups. CAD/CAM milled glass fiber post-and-core systems presented an enhanced adaptation of glass fiber posts to flared root canal systems. Their results were comparable to relined posts in bond strength, while load-to-fracture-results for GMILLED were lower than those for GPF.

ABSTRACT Crown fractures of the anterior teeth are a common form of dental trauma mainly affecting children and adolescents. One of the options for managing crown fractures is the reattachment of the fractured fragment when the tooth fragment is available with minimal or no violation of the biological width. Reattachment of fractured fragments can provide good esthetics, as it maintains the tooth's original anatomic form, color, and surface texture. It also restores function and is a relatively simple procedure. This case report deals with the esthetic management of a crown-root fracture that was successfully treated with endodontic treatment followed by reattachment of fractured fragment with fiber post. ABSTRACT Aim The aim of the present study is to compare the various elastomeric impression materials in terms of accuracy and dimensional stability, with respect to obtaining multiple casts from a single elastomeric impression at various times of pours. Materials and methods Three master dies were prepared for the impression making, two of these were made of brass containing a central hole with undercuts. The third die simulated a conventionally prepared typodont maxillary central incisor. Three elastomeric impression materials were chosen for the study. Each impression was poured at various time periods. Casts thus obtained were evaluated under a traveling microscope to evaluate various dimensional changes. Results Addition silicones provided dies which were shorter in height and bigger in diameter. Polyethers provided dies which were shorter in both height and diameter. Condensation silicones showed insignificant changes from the master die at the immediate pour but deteriorated rapidly after that in subsequent pours. Conclusion None of the impression material showed a consistent behavior up to the fourth pour. They occasionally showed deviation from the pattern, but all these values were statistically insignificant. Polyethers showed lesser ability than both the addition silicones as well as the condensation silicones to recover from induced deformation. Clinical significance Addition silicones as well as the condensation silicones have better ability to recover from induced deformation when compared to polyether. This article aimed to improve the understanding of the concept of purchase and sale in class III Elementary School of Mekarjaya III through the application of information multiliterasi learning models. This research was  classroom action research. This research was conducted in three cycles. The results showed that the percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle has average 63.2 with the percentage of classical completeness which was 48.5%. In the second cycle the average score of students were 70 with the percentage of classical completeness  63.6%. In the third cycle the average value of students were  81.2 with the percentage of classical completeness 87.9%. Then it can be concluded that the application of the multiliteration learning model of information on social studies subjects has success to increase the understanding of the concept purchase and sale in class III Elementary School of Mekarjaya III District Majalengka. This research is conducted due to by the ongoing occurrence of the students’ low conceptual understanding in the mathematical fraction. The students perceived that mathematical fraction is difficult to understand because the use of learning models is not appropriate in the learning process. This study aims to improve the conceptual understanding of class III students through the application of the Kumon model. The method used in this study is a Class Action Research method by adopting the Kemmis Mc Taggart Model. This research was carried out in three cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 21 students in the third-grade consisting of 17 men and 4women. The researchers employed formative test in each cycle and conducted observation towards the teacher and the students as the data collection technique. The results of the average completeness of student learning through formative tests in cycle I was 69.62 (48%), cycle II was 77.71 (71%), and cycle III was 84.67 (100%). The results of the observation on teacher in each cycle were cycle I was 2.7 (enough), cycle II was 3.2 (good) and cycle III was 4.4 (very good). The results of the observation on students in each cycle were cycle I was 2.6 (enough), cycle II was 3.0 (good) and cycle III was 3.9 (very good). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Kumon model can improve the conceptual understanding of third-grade students of Majalengka Kulon VII Elementary School, academic year of 2016/2017, in Majalengka District, Majalengka Regency.

<p><em>The purpose of this research was to improve learning outcomes in theme 4 sub-theme 2 learning 6 grade III elementary schools with a powerpoint media. The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with three cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Each meeting is carried out a pre test and post test to determine the progress of students. In the first cycle the students who completed after carrying out the post test were 35%. In the second cycle students who completed after carrying out the post test were 60%. In the third cycle students who completed after carrying out the post test were 90%. These results indicate that powerpoint media can improve student interest and learning outcomes, especially grade III theme 4 sub-theme 2 learning 6 at SDN 1 Karanganyar.</em></p>

Elementary school level, basic skills, reading, writing and arithmetic are given on the subjects of mathematics and Indonesian language.Math and Indonesian lessons are very useful and fundamental lessons.But the condition of learning in class III SDN 07 Pinang Sebatang Barat these two subjects have not achieved maximum results.This is evident from the results of mathematics and Indonesian replication given only 10 students (42%) of 32 students the total number of students in class III SDN 07 pinang a western trunk that get the value in accordance with KKM.Berarti than 50% of students' mathematics learning results are still below minimum completeness criteria (KKM), which has been determined by the school.The KKM has been determined by the school for mathematics ≥ 60, while the Indonesian language is ≥ 65 Based on the identification and analysis of the above problems found many problems: 1) is giving task method can improve learning outcomes of mathematics to the subject of simple fractions in Class III SD Negeri 07 Pinang Sebatang Barat Kecamatan Tualang in Academic Year 2015/2016? 2) Does the process skills approach can improve learning outcomes Indonesian Listen to the story on the subject of the third grade students of SDN 07 Pinang Sebatang Barat Kecamatan Tualang in academic year 2015/2016? As subject in this Classroom Action research is a third grade students of SD Negeri 0 7Pinang SebatangKecamatan Tualang Siak in the academic year 201 5/201 6 with the total number of students 32 people consisting of 18 male students - male and 18 female students with ability to understand the different subjects.This study uses learning tools consisting of: syllabus, learning implementation plan (RPP), Student Worksheet (LKS), and further training. The conclusion that: 1) Application of the method of assignment in the learning process can improve the results of teaching and learning mathematics at third grade students of SD Negeri 07 Pinang Sebatang Barat Kecamatan Tualang in academic Year 201 5/201 6, with the average results of students in cycle 1 reaches 63, 78 and in cycle 2 reaches 70.78. 2) Implementation other Method in the learning process can improve student Indonesian learning outcomes at third grade students in SD Negeri 07 Pinang Sebatang Barat Kecamatan Tualang in academic year 2015/2016, with the average student learning outcomes in cycle 1 reached 64.06 and in cycle 2 reaches 71.71.
