The belt ply plays an important role in the performance of radial tires, and makes the adhesion strength among rubber steel cords of the belt ply become the focus of recently research. This paper focuses on the study of the theoretical analysis of the force on the belt ply, obtaining the relationship between the size of the load at the single steel wire and the outside load and the steel wire’s deformation on a single steel wire. Taking advantage of the software ANSYS Workbench 13.0, we carried out the simulation analysis of the single steel wire, and intuitively showed you the deformation and stress of belt ply’s steel wire under the different forces, providing theoretical basis and reference value for further researches on the adhesion fatigue life of rubber steel wires.

According to the transmission characteristics of the internal gear pair with few teeth difference, the models of finite element analysis are established reasonably after combining the principle of gear engagement, contact mechanics, and finite element concept and method. The relationship between the simulation model of finite element and the meshing process is made clearly. The simulation analysis is performed subtly for the meshing process of the internal gear pair using the finite element analysis method. The main factors of multi-pair teeth meshing effect have been shown and the effect of multi-pair teeth meshing on the gear bending stress is analyzed.

The vertical steel bar bending forming is a kind of new process of bending method. The bending speed, bending radius and clamping length H which is the parameters of vertical steel bar bending machine , is directly affect the quality of bending forming parts. This paper calculated the length of reinforcement before being incised and the springback angle of bending steel bar which obtained the reasonable cutting length and bending Angle; Then based on rigid-flexible virtual prototype technology to build the dynamics model of vertical steel bar bending system. Through simulation analysis ,it obtained the relationship between bending speed, bending radius , clamping length H and forming quality of bending steel bar. In this paper, the analysis method have reference value to the design of similar steel bar bending machines.

High-strength bolted connection is widely used for steel structure construction. Because high-strength bolted connection has simple constructability and structural qualification. Especially friction type with high-strength bolted connection has high stiffness and fatigue strength. At this time, initial clamping force is one of main factor to affect the strength and deformation behavior of connection. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate reduction of initial clamping force in high-strength bolted connection under fatigue load. And the parameter of this study is the size of the bolt and 3 types of initial clamping force. The analysis is used the finite element analysis program ANSYS Workbench.

As the thermal deformation significantly impacts the accuracy of precision positioning stage, it is necessary to realize the thermal error. The thermal deformation of the positioning stage is simulated by the finite element analysis. The relationship between the temperature variation and thermal error is fitted third-order polynomial function whose parameters are determined by genetic algorithm neural network (GANN). The operators of the GANN are optimized through a parametric study. The results show that the model can describe the relationship between the temperature and thermal deformation well.

In order to study the performance of concrete frame columns that reinforcedby assembleinclined web steel truss, with the same reciprocatinghorizontal displacement and different axialcompression. It canbe calculate the mechanical behavior of concrete frame columns and reinforced columns by using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS. Simulation analysis shows that the bearing capacity ofreinforced columnshas greatly increased andpresented a full hysteresis curve. The result shows that the reinforcement method of assemble inclined web steel truss can greatly improve the bearing capacity and ductility of the concrete frame column, and the axial compression is larger, the better the reinforcement effect.

It is a complex problem to study the interaction between sand castle and flowing water, which needs to consider the complexity of seawater flow and the stress of sand castle structure. The authors use the fluid-solid coupling model to establish the connection between the fluid field and the structural mechanical field, and use the finite element analysis to complete the simulation modeling of the transient process of wave impact and sandcastle foundation deformation. This paper analyzes the stress and the first principal strain of the sand castle foundation in the direction of flow velocity when the sand castle foundation is hit by waves, as a method to judge the strength of the sand castle. The best shape: the boundary value of sand castle collapse caused by strain have been determined, so as to obtain the maximum stress that a sand castle foundation can bear before collapse, which makes it possible to use the fatigue strength calculation theory of sand castle solid to carry out the quantitative calculation of sand castle durability. At the same time, the impact of waves is abstracted as wave motion equation. Finally, the finite element analysis technology is adopted to calculate the main strain of sandcastles of different shapes under the impact of the same wave, and through the comparison of the main strain, the authors get the sandcastle shape with the strongest anti-wave impact ability, which is the eccentric circular platform body.Affected by rain: the authors considered the effect of rainwater infiltration on the sandcastle's stress, and simplified the process of rain as a continuous and uniform infiltration of rain into the sandcastle's surface. The rain changes the gravity of the sand on the castle's surface. Simulation analysis is adopted to calculate the surface stress of sand castle with different degree of water seepage and different geometry. By comparison, it has been found that the smooth cone is more able to withstand the infiltration of rain without collapse.

In order to analyze the reason of failure and improve the reliability of the idler shaft, this paper studies the reliability and sensitivity for the idler shaft based on Kriging model and Variance Methods respectively. The finite element analysis (FEA) of idler shaft is studied in ABAQUS firstly. Then, combining the performance function and various random variables, the Kriging model of idler shaft is established and verified. Based on Kriging model which has been established, the relationship between random variables and the response value is studied, and the function reliability is calculated which explains why the failure of the idler shaft occurred frequently in service. Finally, the variance-based sensitivity method is used for sensitivity analysis of influence factors, the result shows that the reliability of idler shaft is sensitive to the inner diameter of body A and inner diameter of body B, which could contribute for the analysis and further improvement of idler shaft.

The brake system is very important part of the machine working. The mooring winch brake holds the ship on the harbor. But sometimes it appeared the excessive stress and brake lining would be broken. So it is necessary to change the shape of brake system with improve the durability of brake band. In this research, three models, such as a single brake shoe with a uniform thickness, a dual brake shoe with a uniform thickness, and a dual brake shoe with different thickness, are adopted as analytic model. In order to evaluate the strength of band brake according to the shape of brake shoe, the finite element analysis for three models is carried out by using ANSYS Workbench.
