The study mainly focuses on the aviation sector which is one of the fast-growing sectors that highly contributes to the global economy. In the introductory section, the nature of industry and its evolution are discussed in detail. Oman air is chosen for the study, the internal and external analyses are conducted with the aid of SWOT and PESTLE analysis. Through the environmental analysis, Oman air can obtain a clear picture that is relevant to the industry. The study provides crystal clear information relevant to the competitors in the market and meanwhile the performances of the Oman air in the competitive environment are also analysed through this report. Based on the analysis corporate level as well as business level strategies are formulated by the organization that have been discussed in detail. In the following section recommendations and conclusion have been postulated. Additionally the current challenges and the future trends in the market environment are also touched up through the study.

Penelitian ini menjelaskan manajemen strategik (formulasi, implementasi serta evaluasi strategi) pada Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Darussyifa Al-fitroh dalam rangka menyiapkan kader da’i yang berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa keputusan strategi Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Darussyifa Al-fitroh adalah mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif yang diformulasikan dalam strategi utama berupa pertumbuhan terkonsentrasi, berdasarkan analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternalnya, juga implementasi yang terkoordinir, baik dalam (struktural, kepemimpinan maupun budaya), disertai program, anggaran dan prosedur pelaksanaan yang jelas. Serta tingkat evaluasi strategi yang intensif sehingga inovasi dan pengendalian strategi selalu sesuai dengan tuntutan dan perubahan zaman. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen strategik pada Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Darussyifa Al-fitroh telah di jalankan dengan baik dan menunjukan keberhasilan yang signifikan dalam upaya menyiapkan kader da’i berkualitas.   This study explains strategic management (the formulation, implementation and evaluation of strategies) at Darussyifa Al-fitroh Integrated Islamic Boarding School in order to prepare qualified da'i cadres. The method used in this research is descriptive method, data collection is done using observation techniques, documentation studies and interviews. This study found that the strategic decision of Darussyifa Al-fitroh Integrated Islamic Boarding School was to support aggressive growth policies formulated in the main strategy of concentrated growth, based on internal and external environmental analysis, as well as coordinated implementation, both in (structural, leadership and cultural), accompanied by clear programs, budgets and implementation procedures. As well as an intensive level of strategy evaluation so that innovation and strategy control are always in accordance with the demands and changing times. So it can be concluded that strategic management at Darussyifa Al-fitroh Integrated Islamic Boarding School has been run well and shows significant success in the effort to prepare qualified da'i cadres.

In its development, madrasas have undergone various changes, namely from the pesantren learning system to the madrasa system; from traditional to classical methods; from halaqah system to benches, desks and blackboards; from traditional to modern curricula; from classical education to modern educational reform. the change indicates the existence of process or efforts of development of madrasah education in the direction of more advanced, qualified and competitive from time to time. Conceptually, one way to improve the quality of education and competitiveness of madrasah in the era of globalization competition is to implement strategic management which includes 4 stages such as environmental analysis, formulating, implementing and evaluating strategic decisions between functions that enable an organization to achieve its goals in the future. Strategic Management is based on the entire scope of the work. Thus it can be utilized well for makronya environment for example in government management and also can be utilized also for in mikronya environment for example in company management or organization or pengeloalan Madrasah. However, it should be understood only here that in the use of macro and micro scope there are a number of fundamental differences such as the following exposures.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen strategi di LAZISMU Jawa Barat, khususnya dalam mengelola dana zakat. Penelitian ini bertolak dari pemikiran Riva’i dalam Eddy Yunus bahwa manajemen strategi yang terdiri dari tiga proses yaitu: (1) Perumusan strategi, (2) Penerapan strategi, (3) Evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen strategi di LAZISMU Jawa Barat terdiri dari tiga proses: Pertama, perumusan strategi yang meliputi perumusan visi dan misi, analisis lingkungan, menentukan tujuan dan sasaran serta berakhir dengan penentuan strategi. Kedua, penerapan strategi yang meliputi pengorganisasian, sinergi fungsional yang mengatur pelaksanaan program, dan prosedur program pengelolaan dana zakat mulai dari pengumpulan, pendistribusian serta pendayagunaan zakat produktif. Ketiga, evaluasi strategi dari proses perumusan dan penerapan strategi. This study aims to determine how strategic management in LAZISMU West Java, especially in managing zakat funds. This research is based on Riva'i's thought in Yunus that strategic management consists of three processes, namely: (1) strategy formulation, (2) strategy implementation, (3) evaluation. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques by observation and interviews. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that strategic management in LAZISMU West Java consists of three processes: First, the formulation of a strategy which includes the formulation of a vision and mission, environmental analysis, determining goals and objectives and ending with determining the strategy. Second, the implementation of strategies that include organizing, functional synergy that regulates program implementation, and program procedures for zakat fund management starting from the collection, distribution and utilization of productive zakat. Third, evaluation of strategies from the process of strategy formulation and implementation.

Strategic management in the world of education is something relatively new. This is because the success of profit institutions to implement strategic management to achieve their goals. MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto is a state educational institution tat has a clear future education orientation. The institution is a leading educational institution with full of academic and non-academic achievement learners. The teachers in this institution are  strictly selected teachers. This study aims to describe and analyze strategic management in improving the quality of teachers in MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto, ranging from environmental analysis, strategic formulation, strategic implementation until evaluation and strategic supervision in improving teacher quality. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, the research location take place in MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto Banyumas Regency. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used in this study is qualitative data analysis, using three activity flow, data reduction, data presentation and verification/drawing conclusion, and SWOT analysis. Verification of data validity using data triangulation technique. The results showed that: Periama, environmental analysis conducted by MTs Negeri Purwokerto Model for improving the quality of educator is SWOT analysis which produce program or activity according to education institution needs. Second, the strategic formulation used by MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto is done by compiling the vision, mission, and objectives of the madrasah made by the team of formulation of School Work Plan (RKS). The strategic formulation done by MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto for the improvement of teacher quality with teacher recruitment program, guidance and teacher development. Third, in order to get competent and highly committed teacher candidates, the strategy taken by MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto to improve teacher quality is to recruit at any time according to need, with tight selection without KKN elements. While the guidance and empowerment of teachers conducted by the organizing committee. Fourth, evaluation and strategic supervision of MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto. There are two kinds of individual supervision by head of madrasah, vice principal of curriculum affair, senior educator, and Supervisor. While group supervision is held with teachers of one subject cluster in weekly and monthly coordination meetings and MGMP

<p class="Abstract">The objectives of this research were to: (1) develop the skill workbook on environmental analysis and generating strategies of strategic management course for students of Faculty of Management Science, Thepsatri Rajabhat University in order to meet the standard criterion of 80/80; and (2) compare the students’ learning achievement before and after using the skill workbook. The samples, selected by purposive sampling, were 35 students of accountant major of Faculty of Management Science, Thepsatri Rajabhat University. The research instruments included: 1) a skill workbook on the environmental analysis and generating strategies, and 2) a learning achievement test.The data were systematically analyzed by descriptive statistics (percentage :% ; mean : M; and standard deviation : S.D.) and inferential statistics (t-test dependent). The research findings were as follows: 1) the efficiency of the skill workbook yielded the value at 83.84/81.32, which was higher than the standard criterion of 80/80. That was to say, the students’ knowledge on strategic management course attained by using skill workbook as teaching aid was improved, and 2) the students’ learning achievement after using the aforementioned workbook was higher than that before using it because posttest mean score (M = 16.31) was higher than pretest mean score (M = 8.37) with the systematically significant difference at the p=.05 level.</p>
