The bright capability of showing up Internet of things (IoT) advancements for wellbeing gadgets and sensors assumed an essential job in the new age of Healthcare industry for secure patient care and maintaining social distancing. After Corona virus outbreak, it has been observed that there is an utter need for the automated healthcare system for the patients in need or elderly incapable or un-helped people. This paper proposed a Healthcare and quarantined install with IoT devices for the benefiting of quarantined people and Covid-19 patients.

The study explored the research issue of factors in the adoption of the Internet of Things in the health care services of Sri Lanka. To address this issue, the study examined Four research objectives respectively Evaluation of the impact of the proposed technological acceptance determinants on adoption towards IoT in the healthcare system evaluation of the moderating effect of Provincial area, Gender, Age in adoption towards IoT in the healthcare system. By extending UTAUT2 with other significant variables, such as perceived creditability and attitude, this study brought the novel insights into consideration for further research. UTAUT2 argued that the most influential antecedent to adoption intention was performance expectancy. This study gave a new perspective to identify trust as an influential factor driving intention to adopt IoT technology. This study provided insights for companies, to understand better what the determinants of adopting IoT products are. The research suggests that increasing physician’s adoption towards IoT and healthcare organizations should create awareness of IoT products. This could be done in two comprehensive stages; first increase awareness among healthcare staff, which should be the focus on the way to bring business benefits to the organization. Secondly, awareness should be created among the patients, the final customers of IoT technology, which should be focused on enhancing both novelty and quality of IoT enabled healthcare products.However, the IoT technology is still in its early premature stage of development and requires an intense evangelization. To a certain extent, this research had identified the critical factors that impact adoption towards IoT in the healthcare industry in the Sri Lankan context. Then results were supported by the empirical study of the research and can be implemented both theoretical as well as managerial context to impose a radical change in the field of technology adoption of the healthcare industry.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of physical devices, software, and hardware that communicate with one another. As the population ages, healthcare resources become scarce, and medical expenses rise, IoT-based solutions must be adapted to meet these issues in healthcare. To enhance the monitoring efficiency of the IoT-based healthcare system, several studies have been conducted. In this paper, the architecture utilized in the IoT, particularly cloud-integrated systems and security in IoT devices is explored. Factors like accuracy and power consumption are major concerns in the Internet of Things, therefore research projects aimed at enhancing the performance of IoT-based healthcare systems are highlighted. In this work, data management strategies in an IoT-based healthcare system with cloud capabilities are thoroughly examined. The performance of the IoT-based healthcare system is examined, as well as its benefits and drawbacks. Moreover, a comparative analysis is also done on some existing technologies that are utilized in healthcare. It has been observed from past studies that IoT protocol such as 6LoWPAN is mostly utilized in the domain of health care. The majority of research studies are effective in detecting many symptoms and accurately predicting illnesses. The IoT-based healthcare system built specifically for the elderly is an effective way to keep track of their medical concerns. High power consumption, a scarcity of resources, and security concerns major drawbacks of current systems are included in the proposed study.

There has been an increase in the usage of Internet of Things (IoT), which has recently become a rising area of interest as it is being extensively used for numerous applications and devices such as wireless sensors, medical devices, sensitive home sensors, and other related IoT devices. Due to the demand to rapidly release new IoT products in the market, security aspects are often overlooked as it takes time to investigate all the possible vulnerabilities. Since IoT devices are internet-based and include sensitive and confidential information, security concerns have been raised and several researchers are exploring methods to improve the security among these types of devices. Software defined networking (SDN) is a promising computer network technology which introduces a central program named ‘SDN Controller’ that allows overall control of the network. Hence, using SDN is an obvious solution to improve IoT networking performance and overcome shortcomings that currently exist. In this paper, we (i) present a system model to effectively use SDN with IoT networks; (ii) present a solution for mitigating man-in-the-middle attacks against IoT that can only use HTTP, which is a critical attack that is hard to defend; and (iii) implement the proposed system model using Raspberry Pi, Kodi Media Center, and Openflow Protocol. Our system implementation and evaluations show that the proposed technique is more resilient to cyber-attacks.

The internet of things concept had infiltrated nearly every field of our life, however, its cutting edge impact in the healthcare industry has been momentous. With tremendous penetration of Mobile health, the functionality of IoT in the healthcare industry had drastically increased. In the research, a systemic literature review was conducted to study the impact of IoT applications in the healthcare industry by analyzing the current and future research work in the field, more focusing on security and privacy in health IoT devices and how it affects different levels of health care employees and consumers’ adoption towards IoT in the health care industry. The study reports research papers, which were included, based on the further filtering process by title, contents, and abstract. A total of 232 primary up-to-date studies were included in the review study. These papers were analyzed according to the research questions defined in the study.

Using Internet of Things (IoT) solutions is a promising way to ensure that social distancing is respected, especially in common indoor spaces. This paper proposes a system of placement and relocation of people within an indoor space, using an intelligent method based on two optimizers (ant colony and particle swarm) to find the optimal relocation of a set of people equipped with IoT devices to control their locations and movements. As a real-world test, an amphitheater with students was used, and the algorithms guided students toward correct, safe positions. Two evolutionary algorithms are proposed to resolve the studied problem, ant colony optimization and particle swarm optimization. Then, a comparative analysis was performed between these two algorithms and a genetic algorithm, using different evaluation metrics to assess the behavior of the proposed system. The results show the efficiency of the proposed intelligent IoT system.

Covid-19 or the corona virus is a virus that has become a disaster and a global humanitarian disaster began in December 2019 in Wuhan province in China, April 2020 the spread of the corona virus has spread throughout the world making the greatest humanitarian disaster in the history of human civilization after the war world II, Already tens of thousands of people have died, millions of people have been infected with the conona virus from poor countries, developing countries to developed countries overwhelmed by this virus outbreak. Increasingly, the spread follows a series of measurements while patients who recover recover from a series of counts so that this epidemic becomes a very frightening disaster plus there is no drug or vaccine for this corona virus yet found, so that all countries implement strategies to reduce this spread from social distancing, phycal distancing to with a city or country lockdown.

Aim: The aim of this survey study was to assess the level of awareness amongst Indian population regarding the COVID-19. Method: A survey was conducted amongst 745 individuals to assess their level of awareness regarding COVID-19 and steps to be taken for its prevention. Result: The results revealed that a considerable percentage of individuals learned about the pandemic through social media and news and were aware of the mode of spread of the virus and also steps to be taken to prevent it from spreading. But considerable percentage of people was also not fully aware regarding the age groups this virus will be affecting. Conclusion: Upon understanding the percentage of people not aware about the age groups this virus will be affecting, keeping in mind good amount of knowledge amongst individuals about maintaining hygiene and social distancing, this survey would help the health care workers to create awareness regarding the effect of this virus on different age groups to help prevent carelessness amongst youth in following the regime.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a term that describes a system of computing devices, digital machines, objects, animals or people that are interrelated. Each of the interrelated 'things' are given a unique identifier and the ability to transfer data over a network that does not require human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. Examples of IoT in practice include a human with a heart monitor implant, an animal with a biochip transponder (an electronic device inserted under the skin that gives the animal a unique identification number) and a car that has built-in sensors which can alert the driver about any problems, such as when the type pressure is low. The concept of a network of devices was established as early as 1982, although the term 'Internet of Things' was almost certainly first coined by Kevin Ashton in 1999. Since then, IoT devices have become ubiquitous, certainly in some parts of the world. Although there have been significant developments in the technology associated with IoT, the concept is far from being fully realised. Indeed, the potential for the reach of IoT extends to areas which some would find surprising. Researchers at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Hosei University in Japan, are exploring using IoT in the agricultural sector, with some specific work on the production of melons. For the advancement of IoT in agriculture, difficult and important issues are implementation of subtle activities into computers procedure. The researchers challenges are going on.
