Newspaper printing production processes cannot be separated from the problems that affect printed results and excessive waste. So in a printing company, quality control is needed in order to get good printing results and minimize the amount of waste. The print quality results in a company have several shortcomings such as unsuitable colors, and difficulty to get the register when printing. Apart from the aforementioned shortcomings, there are also factors that cause excessive waste, namely scumming, register disturbances, not sharp printouts, set-off, ghosting, and broken paper. How to solve problems that affect print quality and excess waste by cleaning the ink roll, adjusting the leg according to the proof, adjusting the pressure cylinder pressure, and adjusting the volume of wetting water. From the problems found, the print quality results in a printing company need to be increased so that the amount of waste generated is not too much or too much. Keywords— Print Quality, Waste, Quality Control

In this work we apply Statistical Quality Control tools, often used in production processes, to an audit company that as such belongs to the service industry. The tools employed (control graphs, capacity indicators, Taguchi loss function…) are chosen to confirm whether the company audits 7 days before the set date in order to reduce costs. Losses associated to failure are quantified and correction measurements proposed to reduce the variability of the process and increase the company competitivenes<strong>s.</strong></p> <strong></strong>

AbstractThe tools for quality management are used for quality improvement throughout the whole Europe and developed countries. Simple statistics are considered one of the most basic methods. The goal was to apply the simple statistical methods to practice and to solve problems by using them. Selected methods are used for processing the list of internal discrepancies within the organization, and for identification of the root cause of the problem and its appropriate solution. Seven basic quality tools are simple graphical tools, but very effective in solving problems related to quality. They are called essential because they are suitable for people with at least basic knowledge in statistics; therefore, they can be used to solve the vast majority of problems.

Abstract PT. COCA-COLA BOTTLING INDONESIA is a company engaged in the field of Agro-industry is bottling soft drinks and not sparkling. The products produced are Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, and Tea. To be able to compete with similar industries then the company implements quality control by Statistical Process Control method. In the development of this SPC many methods there are manual or who use the software. Currently PT. Coca-Cola Bottling Indonesia in quality control using Time Charting method, but since the transition from Minitab to Time Charting the tendency of the value of capability below standard, whereas production data is almost the same as using Minitab. The purpose of this research is to analyze the inequality of Statistical Process Control between Minitab 13 and Time Charting. Time Charting method is a new method that is given by the headquarters for the process of quality control can be fast and accurate. Quality control with the Statistical Process Control of Minitab and Time Charting methods after the results of the research results was found to be part of different LSL and USL charging, and Calculate Statistic Using different from Minitab method should still be 6 but in written procedure 3. For writing LSL And USL if the Time Charting is determined by the head office while Minitab analysts fill in based on experiments on the decrease of gas volume marketed in previous years. From the research results obtained Cpk data for Minitab method 13 is Sprite 390 ml 1.47, Sprite 1000 ml 1.90 and Sprite 1500 ml 1.38. The result of the research was using Minitab method and the Charting Time of Capacity that is above 1.33 average. The causes of the resulting inequality of both methods are the LSL, USL and Calculate Statistic Using values. The smaller the value of Calculate Statistic Using the higher Cpk produced. A company for the development of software for industrial applications "PBS" Belgrade has designed a modern information system for monitoring and controlling production in the paper industry, which is completely integrated with the technological equipment and production processes. The paper presents the complete concept of the system, from electronic communication with business partners over computer support to all the production processes in the factory, to the delivery of the products to the customers. Realized as a CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) system, it enables management to have a complete overview of the condition of all the production and business activities, and ensures momentary and complete reliable information about all the parameters of the business system. Although the system was developed for the needs of the cardboard factory "Umka", with particular modifications, it could also be used in other factories of the paper and cardboard packaging industry.

The quality control activities, in particular the measurement of density values, are part of the quality control parameters carried out by each company. Companies sometimes forget about the quality parameters of the name, even though the quality can give the printed products a good guarantee in the eyes of consumers. To achieve the quality level, of course, the business does not stand idle, there are several things that need to be done or provided by the business to support the quality, namely man (human), machine (machine), material (material), and method (method). In the development of technology in an increasingly advanced digital world, companies want to continue to compete with a digital world by making inroads, this of course gives the products produced by the company a good or a good level of quality. In this discussion, there is an identification of problematic aspects arising from the deviation of density values as well as ways to obtain standard density values and factors that affect the quality of prints on book cover prints using a Heidelberg machine. Keywords—Quality Control, Density, Standart, Product, Deviation
