Quality control is an important factor for the industry because continuously control process in production will be able to detect abnormalities results quickly, so that it can be anticipated immediately. This study aims to determine how the quality control process has been implemented, what printing problems often occur, and what activities have been carried out to control the production quality of Trobos Live Stock magazine at PT Aksara Grafika Pratama. This research method is descriptive with direct observation of the production process at PT Aksara Grafika Pratama. Descriptive method has been used by direct observation of the production process at PT Aksara Grafika Pratama. Data analysis was carried out using the p-chart control chart analysis method of the production quantity and misprint of Trobos Live Stock Magazine in January - December 2019. The results showed that the total production of Trobos Live Stock Magazine by PT Aksara Grafika Pratama in 2019 was 225,521 sheets with 7,178 misprints, and the average proportion of damaged products was 0.030. The proportion of damaged production in April and May occupied the highest position, namely 0.045 and 0.049, exceeding the UCL (Upper Control Limit) control limit. However, in the production process the following month the damage to production is within control limits, which indicates that the production department has carried out the maximum evaluation and repair. Misprints that occur in the production process of Trobos Live Stock Magazine include Scumming, Ghosting, and no images or text appearing in certain parts. Quality control activities carried out by PT Aksara Grafika Pratama to reduce the level of damage to production include implementing a layered system such as directly monitoring the production process, always carrying out maintenance on machines and assigning special experts to repair machines, as well as placing experienced workers to minimize possible error rate during the production process.Keywords — Quality Control, Diagrams Control p-chart, Statistical Assistance Tools

350-gram duplex cartons is a popular packaging material used by entrepreneurs because it is affordable, recyclable, and harmless to humans. The two main manufacturers that provide these packaged products are found in the market. In order to assist the government in providing quality assurance for consumers, the packaging materials are physically tested in accordance with SNI 10123: 2008. The quality testings include the grammature of cardboard, thickness, brightness, water absorption, oil absorption, pulling power of paper/cardboard, water content, paperboard folds, and mass density of paper/cardboard, by means of tests that have been provided by the National Standar Nasional. Indonesia (SNI). The results showed that one of the manufacturers did not meet the requirements for the brightness, while the other manufacturer did not meet the standards for the water absorption.Keywords—Resistance, Paper, Mattpaper

The process of controlling the quality of the packaging mold in this final project aims to determine the factors that must be considered, carry out the control process and perform problem solving using a fishbone chart cause and effect diagram. To achieve good print quality, it is necessary to know the problem factors that can affect print quality. This final project focuses on the process of controlling the packaging mold for Aice products. This control process is carried out from the process of icoming the raw materials to the out going of the finished product. This writing uses a descriptive method, which is a writing method that describes and describes the quality control of Aice's product packaging prints. Methods were collected from literature study and observation at PT. Temprina Media Grafika Packaging Bekasi about 3 months. Measurements in quality control use a check list form, color range and cause and effect diagrams fishbone chart. The results of this final project show that in the process of controlling the quality of a good packaging mold, it is necessary to pay attention to factors that can affect quality such as human, material, method, machine and environment. The control process is carried out in several stages, namely control of raw materials, control of the production process, sampling of packaged printed products, controlling the finished product, then solving problems using a fishbone chart cause and effect diagram. To maintain the quality of the products produced, it is necessary to add supporting components in the process of controlling the quality of the mold, increasing optimization of machine maintenance and increasing the skills of human resources. Every production process in a company is inseparable from all the dangers of disease and occupational accidents for workers. So in a company it is necessary to implement occupational safety and health in order to reduce and prevent occupational diseases and accidents. In carrying out occupational safety and health at PT Pantja Simpati, PT Pantja Simpati has several problems that can cause illness and work accidents such as unavailability of personal protective equipment, non-functioning air vents, employees smoking in the production room, employees drinking in the production section. part. areas, fire fighting equipment lacks lighting, damaged ceilings or roofs, untidy cables, and slippery production floors. Ways to avoid work accidents such as providing PPE and APAR, repairing damaged equipment, and taking firm action against workers. The type of plastic packaging that is popular in the community is bottle packaging. The plastic material that is generally used to make plastic bottles is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The plastic bottle industry in Indonesia usually uses a blow molding process in its production process, where the blow molding process consists of injection blow molding, extrusion blow molding and stretch blow molding. The SMC B11 machine is one of the extrusion blow molding machines used to produce plastic bottle packaging. In producing workpieces, this machine still produces several products that are not in accordance with company standards, including in terms of production cycle times and product defects. Defects or defects that are often encountered include the appearance of spots, bent parison which causes the bottle to bend (the bottle body is thin one side) and blow pin which causes the thread to not fit.Keywords— Bottle, Plastic, Defect, Extrussion Blow Molding

Comparative analysis of packaging print quality was carried out on the printed output with reference to using Computer to Film (CtF) and Computer to Conventional Plate (CtCP). The comparison of the print results from the two systems is analyzed from cost, durability, and dot gain. In this analysis, 400 gram duplex paper was used and two types of print references were used, namely CtF and CtCP. The pre-printing equipment used is the manufacture of conventional printing plates and plates. What is achieved when observing is comparing two print references with the help of a quality control (QC) tool. Before comparing the two print references, direct printing is done with the two print references, using an offset machine. The differences that exist in CtF and CtCP are caused by different irradiation processes. CtF goes through two irradiation processes while CtCP is in the irradiation process using only lasers. The irradiation process using a laser is uneven and makes the plate not get a raster (neat) result. This process is very influential with the result of the trigger. CtF goes through an iterative process but the results appear better than CtCP.Keywords— Print packaging, Duplex, CtF, CtCp

A company needs to improve performance, especially in terms of quality in the effort to defend itself and compete with other companies. One of the ways the company in improving its quality is by improving the Quality Management System that has been used. The implementation of QUALITY Management System ISO 9001:2015 in the company is an appropriate step to win competition, especially in conducting print planning in the printing industry. PPIC is a department that has a very important function as Product Planning and Control of material supplies in every activity related to production activities in printing, so there needs to be the implementation of an integrated and sustainable Quality Management System. Fulfillment of ISO requirements is an important step that must be taken in order for the company to officially receive iso certificate This study uses descriptive writing method, using observation data collection method, interview, and library study. Implemented in iso 9001:2015 certified companies. The results showed ppp or PPIC units or other designations in the company have met the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. In the implementation of the fulfillment of the requirements there are some obstacles that can be overcome such as administrative processes that have not been implemented properly. In addition, the supporting factor for the implementation of the most important requirements is the full support of management.Keywords— PPIC, ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management System
