The importance of maintaining local wisdom for Balinese people in order to facevarious negative impacts of social changes brought about by .Technology The symptom, whichis basically felt by the Balinese today, is the fundamental socio-cultural change. The accelerationof the information coming along with the wave of technology has been significantly experiencedby the Balinese, both at the level of the “surface structure” (the attitudes and the pattern of behavior) and at the level of the “deep structure” (the value system, the life view, the philosophy,and the belief). The change is due to the culture contacts between countries in which there aredialectic fight between the contemporary values and those of the traditional where one tries totake the domination of another. Here, the hegemony and the neoliberal views are possiblycoming and breaking all the aspects of life, including the values of the local culture ever obeyedfirmly by the Balinese society. This condition leads to a spit and uncertain values situationbecause the people give more attention and respect to the modern values and marginalizethe transcendental values. This is resulting in various violations of the moral values reflected bythe feature, the style, and the life pattern of the society to occur. Therefore, reinforcement andinheritance of Balineselocal wisdom have to be conducted intensively to the Balinese youngergeneration.

Gejala yang dialami masyarakat kini adalah perubahan sosial budaya yang sangat mendasar. Akselerasi informasi gelombang globalisasi membawa perubahan cukup signifikan pada masyarakat, baik pada tataran surface structure (sikap dan pola-pola perilaku) dan deep structure (sistem nilai, pandangan hidup, filsafat dan keyakinan). Perubahan terjadi karena kontak budaya antar negara yang dimaknai adanya dialektika nilai-nilai baru dengan nilai-nilai lama yang saling mendominasi, yang memungkinkan terjadinya homogenisasi dan neoliberalisasi pada seluruh aspek kehidupan termasuk nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang selama ini menjadi pegangan masyarakat. Kondisi ini menimbulkan spit dan kegamangan nilai karena masyarakat lebih mengagungkan nilai modern dengan memarginalkan nilai transcendental. Akibatnya terjadi berbagai bentuk penyimpangan nilai moral yang tercermin dalam corak, gaya, dan pola hidup masyarakat. Oleh karenanya penguatan dan pewarisan nilai-nilai budaya lokal perlu dilakukan secara intensif pada generasi muda.<br /><br /></p>

Post-Tsunami Aceh has a significant impact on the people of Banda City, especially during and after rehabilitation and reconstruction has caused dependence and various kinds of social problems as a problem that arises so that social change occurs. The social change of the people of Banda Aceh City does not all lead to positive things, but also the changes refer to the negative direction. The social change in question is a change in the social value of the people of Banda Aceh due to assistance (cash for work) given to the community during the rehabilitation and reconstruction so that social changes occur. This study aims to examine and describe why social change occurred in the people of Banda Aceh after the tsunami using a qualitative approach. Data obtained through observation and interviews with various speakers. Determination of informants was done by purposive sampling with consideration of the informants were part of the community of Banda Aceh and people who survived the tsunami disaster. To analyze the research researchers used the theory of social change. The results showed that after the tsunami there had been a social change in the people of Banda Aceh City, there were positive changes, some were negative. Positive changes in the community feel that many help so that they can meet their needs in the short term, while the larger negative impacts, especially regarding social values such as the level of community participation in Banda Aceh in the construction of village development decrease, are evident from the fading of mutual cooperation inherent in community members and weak social responsibility resulting from dependence and individualistic attitudes

Social change and conflict are an integral part of any society, including coastal and small island communities in Indonesia. Therefore, doing research on social change and conflict in these communities is very important. As a tribute to the late Prof. Tjondronegoro, this study analyzes briefly the role of Prof. Tjondronegoro in the study of social change in rural Indonesia. This study also analyzes socio-cultural changes, especially identity and sources of the changes, and social conflict in the coastal and small island communities. This is a qualitative study, conducted by examining relevant literatures. The study shows that the late Prof. Tjondronegoro was a lecturer on social change at graduate programme of IPB who had conducted researches regarding social change. Furthermore, the study indicates that socio-cultural changes have taken place in the coastal and small island communities due to changes of fishing technology, value system, tourism, mining activities, and government policies. Meanwhile, social conflicts have also taken place, mainly those related to access to livelihood sources. Thus, it can be concluded that the late Prof. Tjondronegoro played an important role in the development of research on socio-cultural change in rural Indonesia. Moreover, the coastal and small island communities in Indonesia have undergone social changes and conflict.

During the adaptation of the new normal, there are fundamental and complex social changes, so that it is a cultural challenge for the people of Indonesia during the pandemic. Because they must instantly change collectivist living habits to a life pattern that is physically distant. The purpose of this research is to uncover and answer these cultural challenges as a strategy to build new traditional norms towards a green Indonesia. This study uses a cultural approach, with descriptive qualitative methods, and analysis based on the theory of evolution. The results of the study show that several cultural challenges, such as the problem of low community compliance in implementing health protocols, people's habits in socializing closely are a reflection of the collectivist cultural patterns that the Indonesian people have so far. Lack of understanding about the invisible dangers of the virus, as well as the emergence of various opinions through social media that do not support prevention efforts due to the low literacy culture. In conclusion, it is necessary to moderate collectivistic culture and community literacy as a strategy to build new traditional norms towards a green Indonesia.

Pesantren and social value system is the result of constructing kiai's thoughts and social actions as an inseparable entity. This study aims to interpret the role and social action of kiai Moh Hasan, both as a fighter (al-haiah al-jihaadi li'izzi al-Islaami wal muslimin) in the community as well as guidance and guidance for the community (al-haiah al ta 'awuny wa al takafuly wal al ittijaahi) and teaching in educational institutions (al-haiah al ta'lim wa al-tarbiyah), significantly contributes greatly to the social realities of society in Indonesia. Portrait of central figure kiai Moh Hasan can not be separated from the depth of his field of Islamic science, simplicity, kezuhudan, struggle, sincerity and generosity. This view, not only recognized among the people around the boarding school, students and colleagues, but also spread in some areas in Indonesia. The fame of kiai Moh Hasan among scholars, habaib and society has many karamah and some other privileges, not even a few from the social recognition of kiai Moh Hasan Genggong, because the kiai are believed to have closeness with God, thus perceived as auliya'Allah. Thus the role and social actions of the kiai above, gave birth to the value system, so as to influence and move the social action of other individuals. The internalization of the aforementioned values becomes social capital in building a spiritual-based transformative leadership, as a strong leadership model and conducts various changes in the social field, by transforming the value of the ethical values.

This paper seeks to elaborate on the textual interpretation of Q.S Muhammad verse 4 and Q.S at Taubah verse 5. These two verses are often employed by the extremist Muslim groups to legitimize their destructive acts carried out on groups considered as being infidels and as such lawfully killed. The interpretation was conducted using the double movement hermeneutics methodology offered by Fazlur Rahman. After reinterpretation, the two verses contain moral values, namely the war ordered by God must be reactive, fulfill the ethics of "violence" and be the last solution. Broadly speaking, the warfare commanded in the Qur'an aims to establish a benefit for humanity on the face of the earth by eliminating every crime that exists. These two verses in the contemporary socio-historical context in Indonesia can be implemented as a basis for combating the issue of hoaxes and destructive acts of extremist Muslim groups. Because both are crimes and have negative implications for the people good and even able to threaten the unity of mankind.

Perkembangan studi linguistik di dalam penafsiran teks kitab suci memang masih lambat dan dalam tahap perkembangan. Tulisan ini adalah suatu penelitian untuk mengembangkan studi linguistik di dalam penafsiran teks kitab suci di Indonesia. Penulis memilih studi linguistik dengan pendekatan analisis wacana. Model analisis wacana yang digunakan adalah analisis colon yang diperkenalkan oleh Johanes P. Louw. Sampel teks yang digunakan adalah surat Filemon. Hasil penelitian ini akan mendapatkan struktur dan tema surat Filemon. Pendekatan analisis wacana menekankan semantik. Arti atau makna di dalam teks melampaui kata, frasa, dan kalimat (struktur mikro teks) sehingga fokus analisis sampai kepada keseluruhan wacana (struktur makro teks). Struktur makro teks melingkupi arti dari struktur mikro teks. Seorang penulis menulis teks mulai dari ide wacana yang kemudian secara sadar membangun ide tersebut dari struktur mikro teks yang dipilihnya. Dalam analisis colon, struktur makro teks yang terpenting adalah paragraf yang merupakan satu unit semantis yang dibangun dari beberapa kelompok colon (cluster) dan atau colons. Arti kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat tidak lepas dari isi semantis paragraf yang mewadahinya. Sementara, penafsir-penafsir lain lebih memprioritaskan penafsiran struktur mikro teks daripada makro teks. Wacana dianalisis mulai dari paragraf sampai frasa dan kata (top down). Unit semantis dalam bentuk kata, frasa, dan klausa akan dianalisis dengan kategori semantis, pengelompokkan kata (grouping of words atau immediate constituents), dan transformasi struktur luar (surface structure) ke dalam struktur dalam (deep structure). Unit semantis dalam bentuk paragraf akan dianalisis dengan metode analisis colon. Di dalam analisis colon, ada beberapa langkah yang akan diuraikan yaitu pertama, membuat struktur colon (syntactic structure) dari setiap paragraf dan terjemahan literal. Pengelompokkan kata akan terlihat di dalam struktur colon. Kedua, mencari isi semantis dari setiap colon atau kelompok (cluster) dengan menganalisis kata, frasa, dan colon. Ketiga, mencari hubungan semantis di antara colon atau kelompok di dalam satu paragraf yang sama. Keempat, menentukan tema atau ide utama (the pivot point) dari setiap paragraf. Berdasarkan analisis colon, ide utama atau tema surat ini adalah permohonan Rasul Paulus kepada Filemon untuk mengembalikan atau menerima kembali Onesimus sebagai saudara di dalam Kristus. Tema wacana ini menentukan struktur makro dan mikro teks ditulis oleh Rasul Paulus. Rasul Paulus mulai menulis dengan pembukaan yaitu sapaan dan salam kepada Filemon dan seluruh jemaatnya. Kemudian, Rasul Paulus menuliskan dasar permohonannya yaitu iman dan kasih Filemon yang selama ini sudah didengar olehnya. Lalu, Rasul Paulus menuliskan permohonannya bahwa Filemon bisa menerima kembali Onesimus. Terakhir, Rasul Paulus menuliskan penutup yaitu salam dan doa berkat kepada seluruh jemaat. Implikasi pastoral atau teologis yang bisa dipelajari adalah cara iman dan kasih diterapkan secara nyata di dalam persekutuan dan kehidupan seperti pengampunan dan rekonsiliasi relasi dengan orang lain yang sudah berbuat dosa. Pengalaman jatuh ke dalam dosa dan dipulihkan oleh Allah adalah pengalaman yang tidak mungkin dipisahkan dalam hidup ini. Oleh karena itu, persekutuan sesama orang percaya menjadi wadah atau alat anugerah bagi setiap orang percaya menghadapi berbagai godaan dosa. Secara khusus, penulis mengucap terima kasih kepada para mahasiswa STT Soteria Purwokerto terutama mereka yang sudah mengikuti kelas Studi dan Exegesis Perjanjian Baru. Mereka adalah orang (pembaca) pertama yang bersama penulis menggumuli teks ini selama 1 semester. This article discusses the poem "Sajak Pertemuan Mahasiswa" by W.S. Rendra. The discussion of this poem is motivated by efforts and efforts to apply the concept of poetry structure put forward by Lévi-Strauss. The description of the structure of this poem aims to display the structure of the poem consisting of the outer structure (surface structure) and the inner structure (deep structure). The outer structures that will be discussed are forms of text, diction, and sound, while the inner structures that will be discussed are imagery, compounds, and themes. The method used in this study is descriptive of analytics with a type of qualitative research, namely placing the text of poetry as the object and research data. Data collection techniques are done by identifying, classifying, and recording. Data anlysis is done by meaning direct and directed content. Analysis is done by discussing the structure of poetry consisting of text, diction, and sound, imagery, compounds, and themes. The results showed that the structure of Lévi-Strauss poetry can determine the overall meaning and message of poetry. The use of blank verse, simple diction, dominance of vocal sounds /a/, thought imagery, and metaphorical-rhetorical majas refers to the theme of "openness". This theme can be interpreted very broadly, namely openness to justice, education, employment, income, and livelihood. This openness is tried by students as agents of change and a bridge between the government and the people.
