Qibla direction is one of the important things in Islam. Especially in the prayer worship. Al-Quran and Hadith have explained about the direction of qibla during the lifetime of the Prophet. The Problems begun  when Muslims spread all  the world as it is today. Muslims who are far from Mecca can not see the Ka’bah, so it is difficult to determine the "ainul  Ka'bah". But now the rapid development of technology makes it easy for Muslims to determine the direction of the Qibla appropriately. In this case, however, the ulama' do ijtihad with their fatwa regarding how precisely facing the Qibla is permissible for those who cannot see the Ka'bah. This study aims to explain how 'Indonesian' ulama in this case the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) and 'Egyptian' ulama (Dar al-Ifta 'al-Misriyyah) resolve the problem and explain what lies behind the views of both. This study is a comparative normative study using a qualitative approach. The study data was taken from the MUI fatwas and Dar al-Ifta 'al-Misriyyah. The results of the study showed that the MUI fatwa initially decided the direction of the qibla of Indonesian Muslims to face westward, but then a new fatwa emerged afterwards which decided the qibla of Indonesian Muslims to face northwest with varying positions according to the location of their respective regions. In contrast to the MUI fatwa, the fatwa from Dar al-Ifta 'al-Misriyyah shows that for those who cannot see the Kaaba it is permissible to deviate slightly from the actual qibla direction with a 45 degree limit in the right or left direction.

This article describes and discusses how normative journalistic roles are formulated across Europe. The material was obtained from the 2012–2016 wave of the Worlds of Journalism Study, a comparative study designed to assess the state of journalism throughout the world. The advantage of this study over similar undertakings in the past is that we did not confront journalists with ready-made statements but invited them to tell us, in their own words, what they thought the major roles of journalists in their countries ought to be. Open responses of more than 10,200 journalists from twenty-seven European countries yielded 12,860 references. Results show that the most important roles refer to the domain of political life, especially the informational-instructive and the critical-monitorial functions—a finding that is consistent across the twenty-seven countries investigated. Beyond this shared global vision, it is, however, possible to point out some national specificities, keeping in mind that even if the core of the normative roles remains somewhat universal, a detailed comparison of those roles in their cultural context allows us to grasp some differences in their hierarchy and their meaning.

[The Conquest of Constantinople in 1453 is in the spotlight of the world today. One of the triggers is the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan changing the policy of the status of the Hagia Sophia museum into a mosque. This has received a tremendous response from the world community, especially from the West and Islam. Pros and cons arise because they consider the status of the Hagia Sophia to be a world heritage that cannot change its status and must become a cultural heritage object. Those from the supporting camp have argued that it is the right and freedom of a country to change its identity with the support of its people. Meanwhile, those who refuse the change of the status due to access to the most holy and sacred places will experience difficulties so that it will be difficult to visit them freely. This research is descriptive with a qualitative methodology. This methodology is used to explain a current phenomenon regarding the issue of the Hagia Sophia. One of the phenomena that have emerged in Indonesia, this issue became a prime focus of the national to the international media and even viral. This article aims to investigate in a different way the concomitant relations of conjugality - here from the moment it is formalized matrimonialized as to its conformation as a situation of fact, not Authorized and not Islamic Law. The Brazilian and Islamic legal systems admit and protect polygamous relationships? The conclusion is that the right of reply is the right of police expression manifested in polygamy. In Brazil, the laws are not of the world of facts, being inclusive, in some cases, those of the right to the right, but there is still a strong tendency to legalize the legalization of polygamy, for strictly moral/religious reasons. Thus, contrary to common sense, it may be said that the Muslim is more monogamous than the Brazilian is. Still, it can be affirmed that, although Brazil declares itself secular, in practice there is no demarcated separation between State and religion. The Islamic communism is the rights of human religion. Paradoxically, would Brazil then be cloaked in the veil of Islam? The methodology used is exploratory, from a comparative perspective, taking the necessary precautions to differentiate between the two systems.

The People’s Republic of China has become the largest digital game software market in the world. Yet, outside the Chinese game industry itself, very little is known about the local development scene. In this chapter, we approach Chinese regions’ game industry from both a historical and an analytical perspective, particularly by examining how game developers in the PRC, Taiwan, and Hong Kong came to learn game development through copying, imitation, and gradually moving to innovation. The chapter aims at explaining China’s game development history chronologically, starting from the end of the 1980s when Nintendo’s products entered China and pirated products overwhelmed the legally bound regular market until the emergence of indie studios in the 2010s.

This chapter reviews the literature on the paradox of services as a cause for the necessity of PPP. First, the chapter discusses why governments pursue PPPs form the perspectives of both the private and public and how this has brought about the urge for PPPs throughout the world. Second, the chapter reviews the principles of PPP from a current development and management perspectives. Three core elements are crucial for PPP to thrive, and these are finance, skills of the private sector and risk sharing are reviewed. This chapter analyses papers, case-studies and reports concerning the challenge of service delivery provision in the current and concludes that, from a practical perspectives, it is proper that governments ought to rethink their mode of service delivery provision, and that PPP seems to be the right answer in the scenario.
