SD Negeri 18 Tanah Abang is one of the elementary schools located in Tanjung Dalam Village. In line with the rapid development of technology, there are demands on educational institutions or others to provide fast, precise, and accurate information. In processing the data, SD Negeri 18 Tanah Abang has not used a computerized system, therefore the research conducted by the author aims to create an Academic Information System so that it can help and facilitate data processing.

Along with the rapid development of science and technology, the need for fast and accurate information is needed by every company. To manage information requires good and sophisticated technology. The technology needed is not only in the form of hardware (Hardware) and also in the form of software (Software), but has great value for those who use it. One of the support to make it happen is to process company data using a computerized system. In this research method, the method used is the waterfall method as a pattern of system development. until now has not been computerized, while the information system is very supportive and provides satisfying services for customers. For this reason the author discusses the design of a sales information system at the Sono Snack Shop with a program that facilitates the shop. The design of this information system is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this store, and with a computerized system can be achieved an activity that is effective and efficient in supporting the activities of this store.

The Information System that runs at STAI Sebelas April Islamic High School Sumedang, which in processing its academic data still uses a simple computerized system. Although it has been supported by computers but only uses office standards (Microsoft Office Excel and Word) so that it allows a lot of errors in processing academic data. And cause the academic services provided by STAI Sebelas April Sumedang to be less efficient, and lead to difficulties in finding data and taking up relatively long time in making reports. To help in resolving these problems, it is necessary to have a new academic information system so that any work related to data processing can be reduced by the level of error and can provide satisfactory services to system users.

<p><em>Abstrak</em> – <strong>Saat ini lembaga pendidikan dituntut berubah dengan cepat mengikuti perkembangan era digital. Pesatnya perkembangan Internet mendorong <em>stakeholder </em>yang sudah terbiasa menggunakan layanan secara <em>online</em>, menginginkan layanan yang sama dalam mengakses informasi akademik. Hal ini disadari betul oleh para pemilik maupun pengelola lembaga pendidikan, namun penyediaan layanan sistem informasi akademik sekolah seringkali terkendala karena memerlukan investasi yang besar untuk pengembangan sistem maupun pengadaan infrastruktur <em>data center </em>dan perawatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi akademik yang di-<em>deploy</em> pada komputasi awan dengan model layanan <em>Software as a Service (SaaS)</em>. Model layanan ini memungkinkan sekolah memanfaatkan sistem tanpa harus melakukan pengembangan dan perawatan sistem serta berinvestasi <em>data center </em>sendiri. Sekolah cukup melakukan registrasi pada sistem dan melakukan kustomisasi peran dan hak pengguna, penyesuaian logo sekolah, tampilan <em>header</em> rapor, serta komponen yang ada pada mata pelajaran dari setiap sekolah sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak model <em>waterfall </em>yang meliputi analisa kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem yang dirancang dapat melakukan kegiatan penilaian pada siswa menjadi lebih mudah, karena para guru dapat langsung menginput nilai serta mengatur komponen nilai yang dimiliki di tiap-tiap mata pelajaran.  </strong> </p><p><em>Abstract</em> – <strong>Today, educational institutions are required to change rapidly following the development of the digital era. The rapid development of the Internet encourages stakeholders who are used to using services online, wanting the same service in accessing academic information. This is well known by the owners and managers of educational institutions, but the provision of school academic information system services is often constrained because it requires a large investment in the development of systems and the procurement of data center infrastructure and maintenance. This study aims to develop academic information systems that are deployed on cloud computing with the Software as a Service (SaaS) service model. This service model allows schools to utilize the system without having to develop and maintain the system and invest in their own data center. Schools only need to register the system and customize user roles and rights, adjust school logos, display report, and components that exist on the subjects of each school as needed. This system was built using the waterfall model software development method which included needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system that is designed to carry out assessment activities on students becomes easier, because the teachers can directly input the values and set the components of the values they have in each subject.</strong></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong> – <em>Cloud Computing, School Information System, Software as a Service.</em></p>

Computers with the help of proper software usage enables efficiency in work as well as the conducting of experiments, developments, simulations and data processing which allows specific conclusions to be drawn. The programming languages that have been developed in past decades gave computer users more opportunity to think outside the box. Due to the rapid development and complexity of the programming languages and their syntax, the demand for a much faster and simpler problem-solving tool was created in order to cater situations which require the need to have the tool created in the first place. Today, the most popular and sophisticated programme used in industrial environments is Matlab as it is applicable in various fields of sciences - from numerical calculations to complex simulations. However, Matlab is a commercial programme. In order for it to be used, financial incentives must be prioritised which often is a disadvantage for students and educational institutions as it is costly. In this paper a few free software solutions will be considered as alternatives to commercial software solutions.

The rapid development of computer technology and information greatly helps work in storing, accessing to data processing becomes faster and easier, this has triggered various fields in utilizing this with the use of computer-based information systems, especially for intelligence units in western security police. The system that will be created uses access to the virtual host-based client server. Modeling used UML modeling, this system is built using PHP programming language and MYSQL database. The results of the study show that the information system designed can process criminal data and is able to be implemented at the research site..

The rapid development of technology makes it possible to get accurate and fast information. Boutiqe engaged in the clothing business is difficult to get accurate information on sales results due to data - sales results are still calculated manually, so Boutiqe financial information can not explain how much profit should be obtained. Weaknesses in getting accurate financial information then a computer-based information system was built that could store all sales data and produce more accurate financial reports. The information system built uses MYSQL as a data storage database.

SISKA is an Academic Information System at Ganesha University of Education (UNDIKSHA) used for TESIS process. Starting from proposal submission, proposal seminar, pre thesis exam and thesis exam. So far the running application is still in web form. With so rapid development of Android-based applications, it will be made SISKA Android-based applications that will certainly make it easier for students and lecturers to access this application via Smartphone. In the development of this application will be used Eclipse commonly used for software development. Web-based SISKA application development into Android-based SISKA application provides a new look that is more user friendly, easy to use, and easy to access using smartphone

The rapid development of technology requires universities to develop an integrated academic information system to support the education process. With the application of the information system, universities can provide better information services to students. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of self-efficacy and information quality on behavioral intention toward academic information system with perceived usefulness as an intervening variable. This study used survey questionnaire in collecting data from one higher institution - STIE Malangkuçeçwara(Malangkuçeçwara School of Economic). The population in this study is all students in the sixth semester. A questionnaire was administered to all 377 students, 311 were returned yielding a response rate 82.5%. This study has three significant findings. First, the direct effect of self-efficacy on behavioral intention to use academic information system (AIS) is significant. Second, the direct effect of information quality on behavioral intention to use AIS is significant. Third, The indirect effect of self-efficacy and information quality on behavioral intention to use AIS through perceived usefulness is not significant

Abstract: Utilization of computer technology in data processing processing of Balai Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai in BPDAS Kota Padang still no. All still done manually so that in making the report requires precision and a long time. Therefore, the researcher builds a watershed management information system in BPDAS Kota Padang using Visual BasicNet 2012 programming language. By utilizing computerized system is expected to assist the processing of data management of watersheds in BPDAS Padang so that it can produce fast information , precise and accurate. Keywords: information system, data processing, Balai Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai Abstrak: Pemanfaatan teknologi komputer dalam proses pengolahan data balai pengelolaan daerah aliran sungai di BPDAS Kota Padang masih belum ada. Semua masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga dalam pembuatan laporan membutuhkan ketelitian dan waktu yang cukup lama. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti membangun suatu sistem informasi pengelolaan daerah aliran sungai di BPDAS Kota Padang dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic Net 2012. Dengan memanfaatkan sistem komputerisasi diharapkan dapat membantu proses pengolahan data pengelolaan daerah aliran sungai di BPDAS Kota Padang sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang cepat, tepat dan akurat.
