Viruses and bacteria have posed a significant threat in various parts of the planet at various times. However, in 2020, the entire world was affected at the same time in such a way that it changed the very foundation of how we live, work, and interact with one another. Never before in history has the entire human race been so vulnerable at the same moment. The most economical preventive measures for most people all over the world during this period were sanitizers and face masks. Many different types of face masks have been fabricated keeping various factors like their antimicrobial effectiveness, reusability, eco-friendly method of manufacturing, cost-effectiveness and most importantly biodegradability. This paper gives an overview of those materials which are used in face masks which could be synthesized easily and affordably. The future perspective of the masks is also briefly discussed keeping the smart and sensor based devices on the rise, providing information for researchers looking for ways to synthesise face masks that would satisfy the needs of the circumstance.

Globalization and liberalization of the world economy has leveled the field for all competitors around the globe. In this high competition environment all the industries try to lower the manufacturing cost of product and to increase their profit without compromising quality of product. Industries are in the race to search the ways to reduce the manufacturing cost of product. All over the world industries implement many techniques to sustain in this competitive world. In this environment Maintenance practices’ become the essential and basic need of industries. The main objective of maintenance practices is to keep machines running all the time and increasing the availability of resources. Like this maintenance practices have become one of the most important functions in an organization. In India large industries implemented maintenance practices successfully and receiving their benefits. But a very little information is available regarding the success role of maintenance practices in small and medium enterprises. To face global competition successfully, SMEs have to successfully implement the maintenances practices. The purpose of this paper is to review the current scenario of various maintenance practices being implemented in SMEs. The paper will have great value for managers of SMEs in understanding the benefits accrued by implementing these maintenance practices. The paper will also cover the direct and indirect benefits of maintenance practices in Indian SMEs.

Lightning phenomenon over the years has been subject of debate of scientists as well as that of people. For some, it is the manifestation of their deities, and, for others it is nothing but a simple display of colors along with fearsome sounds with a destructive power. We know by the work of scientists like Benjamin Franklin (18th century) that it was not what we used to think, and, has some explanations. We now, have understood how the clouds get charged, and how they, in turn, induce charges on the surface of the earth below them. The different types of strokes were also better understood along the way. With the grasp of the real phenomenon, scientists worked out its multiple threats to transmission lines, and therefore, came up with some protective devices to avoid the total catastrophe that could occur should these strokes be left without any preventive measures. Hence, many protective devices came to life with special applications; one of which the lightning arrester. The latter one helps a lot, especially nearby substations by grounding lightning induced energy. We also know that scientists have been discussing the possibility of capturing lightning energy, and, use it to compensate the deficit in energy demand from the world needs in terms of energy. We are using here a capacitor-lightning arrester combination to try and store the lightning-induced energy in transmission lines. We shall carry out this work by making use of the ability of the capacitor while subjected to a surge, and then, find out about the energy it can store by getting charged up. we shall also make use of SmartDraw software for our designs and models. The aim here is to target how we could possibly break the grounds in the mastering of the ever-lost lightning energy to ground.

Cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases that if not diagnosed at early stages can lead to death. Cancer is of different types and breast cancer is a known form of it that is prevailing around the world. It is found in almost 11% of the world women population in their life time. The early detection of this type of cancer is essential not only to reduce the life fatalities but also for the human race. Due to some drawbacks and negative impacts, it remains a fascinating concern to recover the pictorial eminence of mammograms at the initial stage by a robust method to examine the cancer in the breast. In this study, we have presented a method of noise destruction and image enrichment by utilizing wavelet transform. The proposed method consisted of three steps. Also, the preprocessing was employed to improve the local divergence in condensed areas in which the improvement parameter delivers the anticipated aspect enrichment. In the proposed method, the effect of artifacts has been solved that is one of the critical issues now a day, which produces during the analyzing of the mammographic image. The proposed algorithm gave best results as compared to the existing works for which less user adjustment parameters are required.

Dengue fever is a painful mosquito-borne infection caused by different types of virus in various localities of the world. There is no particular medicine or vaccine to treat person suffering from dengue fever. Dengue viruses are transmitted by the bite of female Aedes (Ae) mosquitoes. Dengue fever viruses are mainly transmitted by Aedes which can be active in tropical or subtropical climates. Aedes Aegypti is the key step to avoid infection transmission to save millions of people in all over the world. This paper provides a standard guideline in the planning of dengue prevention and control measures. At the same time gives the priorities including clinical management and hospitalized dengue patients have to address essentially.

The covid-19 resulted in broad range of spread throughout the world in which India has also became a prey of it and in this situation the means of media is extensively inϑluencing the mentality of the people. Media always played a role of loop between society and sources of information. In this epidemic also media is playing a vital role in shaping the reaction in ϑirst place for both good and ill by providing important facts regarding symptoms of Corona virus, preventive measures against the virus and also how to deal with any suspect of disease to overcome covid-19. On the other hand, there are endless people who spread endless rumours overs social media and are adversely affecting life of people but we always count on media because they provide us with valuable answers to our questions, facts and everything in need. Media always remains on top of the line when it comes to stop the out spread of rumours which are surely dangerous kind of information for society. So on our side we should react fairly and maturely to handle the situation to keep it in the favour of humanity and help government not only to ϑight this pandemic but also the info emic.

COVID-19 is a current sensational and dangerous threat that affects millions of people across the world. As the day progresses the rate of growth of COVID-19 drastically increases. No vaccine or specific antiviral drug are active against corona, therefore, preventing the exposure to the virus is the base of support against its spread across the world. Despite the implementation of preventive measures, the rate of virus-infected cases progressively increases which stimulates our thought process to raise a question, whether the preventive measures that we follow are effective against the spread of COVID-19 infection. Evidence from previous literature obtained from various online tools implies multiple preventive measures that should be followed and also illustrates their mechanism of action against the active spread of COVID-19 infection. According to the results from the evidence, we can identify the gold standard preventive measure among the described preventive measures. The precautionary measure encompasses both pharmaceutical interventions and non- pharmaceutical interventions among which non-pharmaceutical measures are superior in the prevention of the developing pandemic. Among the non-pharmaceutical interventions, social distancing is the paramount to other measures in the mitigation of the spread of viral infection.

Financial Literacy is defined as the possession of knowledge and understanding of elementary financial concepts which results in developing the ability to make conversant, poised and effective financial decisions. In current scenario, the concern to increase the level of financial literacy among common masses has been witnessed by many countries of the world through various Financial Literacy center, programme and initiatives but all these programmes and policies are crafted and implemented taking into consideration the male as ultimate receiver and so women who constitute half of the rural population are lagging behind in terms of a making informed financial decisions and financial wellbeing. Hence Strategies should be formulated taking into consideration the women as the main spectators. This paper is an attempt to analyze the current status of the financial literacy among the rural women of the Darbhanga district.

This article argues the following five claims: 1. Plato’s description of the origins of cosmos in the Timaeus is not a myth, nor something unlikely: when he called it an eikos mythos or eikos logos, he meant a likely or trustworthy account on this very subject. 2. Among the details in this account, the following are prominent and surprising: a) the world was fashioned in time, in that precise point that was the beginning of time; b) several kinds of duration can be distinguished in cosmology (mainly eternity, sempiternity, perpetuity and time); and c) space is an entity characterized by movement and tension. 3. In the Statesman, Plato repeats much the same thing, adding this time the strange notion that the universe’s circular movement is periodically reversed. 4. In spite of the important differences in detail, there is a striking similarity between Plato’s account of the origins of the world and the explanation adopted by much of modern cosmology. 5. What Plato shares with so many instances of recent thought is here termed “cosmological imaginativity”. A first section of the paper deals exclusively with the Timaeus. Claims 1 and 2a are supported by a revision of the meanings of mythos and logos, followed by brief reference and discussion of the argument at Timaeus 27d, leading to the conclusion that Plato affirms that the ever-changing world has indeed had a beginning in time. Claim 2b describes five different types of duration, corresponding to Forms, the Demiurge, Space, the [empirical] world and its contents, physical objects. The second section is concerned with the myth in the Statesman, discussing it as a parallel and describing its peculiar turn to the Timaeus’ cosmology and cosmogony, a complex spheric and dynamic model. After digressing into some important ideas in modern cosmology, touching especially on affinities of some of Einstein’s ideas with of Plato’s own, the paper closes with a discussion of cosmological imaginativity, oriented to recover and recognize fully Plato’s greatness as a cosmologist.

Graft detachment is the most common complication of endothelial keratoplasty. With the ongoing advancements in the field of endothelial keratoplasty, our understanding of risk factors of graft detachments and its management has been evolving. Various prevention measures have been described in literature including presoaking the donor graft, anterior chamber tamponade, venting incisions, sutures to prevent dislocation of graft. Management of a detached graft involves secondary interventions such as rebubbling, suturing and regrafts. In this review, we discuss graft detachment in different types of endothelial keratoplasty techniques including Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty, Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty and Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty; with emphasis on incidence, risk factors, preventive measures and their management.
