Abstract: Effect, Boiled Eggs, Pregnancy, Hemoglobin. The purpose of this study was to prove that Effect, Boiled Eggs, Pregnancy, Hemoglobin. To determine the effect of boiled eggs consumption to the increase of hemoglobin levels in the second trimester of pregnancy in Puskesmas Klaten Tengah. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were pregnant women in Puskesmas Klaten Tengah with 30 samples. Sampling using purposive sampling with 15 samples as the treatment group and 15 samples as a control group. Analysis of the data by independent sample t-test. The hemoglobin levels change of the second trimester pregnant women between the pre and post boiled eggs consumption group and Fe tablet consumption group and non consumption showed 0.001 (<0.05) of p-value, it means that there have a differences in hemoglobin levels between the pre and post boiled eggs consumption group and Fe tablet consumption group and non consumption. Boiled eggs consumption are effective to increase hemoglobin levels in the second trimester of pregnancy in Puskesmas Klaten Tengah.

Iraqi grade five pupils often lack proficiency in fractions and lack motivation in learning fractions through the conventional method of teaching. Research has shown that the concrete-representational-abstract (CRA) module helps primary pupils to learn fractions and give them better motivation to learn fractions. The study employed a quasi-experimental research design and two intact grade five classes from an Iraqi school in KL, Malaysia were randomly assigned to the experimental group and control group respectively. The results showed that there was a significant difference in proficiency in fractions and motivation in learning fractions between the groups and favoring the CRA module.

The aim of this study is to discover the effect of applying SQ3R method inreading comprehension. Experimental research design is used as the research method. This research took place at SMA Nasrani 2Medan. There were 2 classes chosen as thesample with 30 students in each class. The classes were divided into two groups namelyexperimental and control group. The experimental group was taught by using SQ3Rmethod and the control group was taught by using conventional method. The instrumentused to collect the data was a set of multiple choice tests, which divided as pre test andpost test. The result of the research was analyzed by using t-test formula. The resultshowed that t-test was higher than t-table (4,23>2,00) at the level of significant 0,05with degree of freedom (df) 58. It means that hypothesis alternative (Ha) is acceptedwhich shows that SQ3R method significantly improves the student’s readingcomprehension.

In learning foreign language such as English, a learner should have motivationin  order  to  have  willingness  to  learn.  This  study  is  an  attempt  to  investigate  thestudents’ motivation in learning English by using Hangman Game. And this study wasto find out if the use of Hangman game motivates the students in learning English. Themethod  used  in  this  study  was  quantitative  with  experimental  research  design.  Thetarget population of this study was the eighth grade students of MTs Negeri Cirebon 1.The writer took two classes as samples and the number of the samples was 36 students. The  samples  were  divided  into  experimental  group  and  control  group.  There  are  tworesearch  instruments  which  were  used  to  collect  data.  They  were  questionnaire  andobservation. The result analysis of observation showed that the students in experimentalgroup  had  higher  motivation  than  in  control  group.  Meanwhile,  the  calculation  of  thevalue  of  the  questionnaire  showed  that  there  were  significant  differences  betweenexperimental group and control group. The result of taccount was 2,44 while the result ofttable was  1,994.  It  was  mean  that  the  value  of  taccount (2,44)  >  ttable (1,994).  So,hypotheses  alternative  (Ha)  was  accepted  or  the  use  of  Hangman  game  motivate  thestudents in learning English to eighth grade students of MTs Negeri Cirebon 1.

This research aims at developing Speaking Skill through Interview. Its method was quasi-experimental research non-equivalent control group design. Its population was the students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Palu, in which consists of thirteen parallel classes. The experimental class consists of 29 students and control class consists of 30 students. It was done in eight meetings. The variables of this research were speaking skill and interview. The samples of this research were students of grade VIII C and VIII D, selected through cluster sampling technique. Its results indicate that the application of interview has overcome the students’ problem. After analyzing them, the result of t-counted was 10.01. By applying degree of freedom (df) 57(29+30-2), and the level significant 0.05, the value of t-table was 2.00. So,  the value of t-counted was higher than t-table. It means that the hypothesis of this research was accepted. Thus, the interview can be applied to develop speaking skill of students grade VIII  at  SMP Negeri 1 Palu.

Background: Constipation is one of the most common problems in stroke due to inactivity and immobility. Objective: To compare one hour and every two-hour turning regimens in the prevention of constipation in patients with stroke. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental research with pretest posttest with control group design. There were 39 participants assigned in intervention group (n=17) and control group (n=22). The intervention group turned every one hour, while control group turned every two hours. The turning regimen was implemented for five days. A bowel score was used to measure constipation. McNemar Test and Fisher Test were used to measure and compare the bowel score between the two groups. Results: There was no significant difference in the effect of two turning regiments on constipation (p > .05). However, based on a descriptive result, there was a slight decrease in the number of constipation from 47% to 29.4% in the intervention group, and from 32% to 27% in the control group. Conclusion: Turning might still become an effective way to prevent constipation in patients with stroke either every one hour or two hours without diet modification.

This study investigated the effect of using mind mapping strategy on the students’ achievement in writing procedure text. It was conducted by using experimental research design. The population of this research was grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Merbau Labura divided into two groups, namely experimental and control group. The experimental group was taught by using mind mapping strategy, while the control group was taught by using lecturing method. The instruments used to collect the data was writing procedure text. After the data were analyzed, it was found that the value of t-observed was 2.764 with the degree of freedom (df)= 58 at the level of significance 0.05. It means that t-observed was higher than t-table (2.764 >2.000). The result of this study showed that teaching procedure text by using mind mapping strategy was higher than that by using lecturing method. It implies that mind mapping strategy is appropriate to be applied for writing procedure text.
