This paper explores the significance of managers' impact on the level of employee success in the banking sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the contribution of managers to successful banks as agile managers, and argues that management reform in a crisis such as the Covid-19 pandemic can be done well by managers. The banks positively by managers who possess the employees' imagination and technical innovation skills, which makes the employees capable of facing the different types of challenges and difficulties they encounter in an unexpected or anticipated way, who constitute vital components in the continuity and progress of the organizational transition in a volatile economy. With the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, institutions all over the world have attempted to respond successfully to transition, and banks have been especially hard hit by self-responses. These methods, however, have shown for agile management the potential to excel under and survive global economic conditions. This paper examines current research on the role of bank managers in the positive development of internal change during crisis situations. The findings revealed that assisting managers in the private banking industry is critical to instilling a sense of transformation in other direct and related parties within the company. As a result, this paper leads to clarifying successful employee assessment by inspiring managers to them which led to the performance of the most effective managers from the old conventional managers who were happy with the banks after these new circumstances that inspired new managers to the imagination and innovation through prior expectations.

Digital transformation seems to have been materialized to a large extent by Greek Banks, which continue to innovate in Retail Banking continuously improving their websites and customer choice options. It is important to mention that the Banking sector in Greece has gone on the same footing as banks abroad and is barely able to provide services and services, despite the adverse economic conditions. The paper examines the advantages, disadvantages and the role of the various factors that generally apply to the digital transformation of the Banking Sector. The research revealed that the banking sector in Greece seems to have followed the worldwide technological developments and has made the necessary changes to turn any digital achievements into its own benefit.

Considering social exchange theory, the current research aimed to examine the mediating impact of job satisfaction in the relationship between internal branding and organisational citizenship behaviour. The data was collected from 187 employees in the private banking sector of Chandigarh, India. The results discussed that employer branding positively impacted job satisfaction and organisational citizenship behaviour. The results also suggested that internal branding impact organisational citizenship behaviour directly and indirectly.

The purpose of the study is to analyze how the of job satisfaction level can be enhanced through employee engagement and its dimensions namely, vigour, dedication and absorption. Augmenting the job satisfaction levels can increase the employee retention in organizations. Research has proved that engaged employees can act as competitive advantage for organizations and creates quality workforce that is fully committed. The study was administered on 96 Managers who were representatives of 4 private sector banks in Delhi/NCR. Variables in the study were assessed using validated instruments. Descriptive Statistics, Correlation and Regression were used for data analysis. Indian private banking sector has undergone incredible change in the last few decades. Due to enormously competitive scenario, it is relevant to note that banks need to distinguish themselves from each other. Enough research has been on the concept of employee engagement and its vitality to employees well-being, but there is limited research on employee engagement dimensions and relation between job satisfaction. The current research is imperative in providing insights into relation between employee engagement dimensions and its impact on job satisfaction levels.

Technology has transformed the banking industry. The banking sector has adopted digital ways to provide the best service to consumers to increase loyalty. The current study examines the influence of e-banking mobile application quality factors comprising reliability, application design, and trust on consumers' e-loyalty in Pakistan's private banking sector. Furthermore, the mediating role of e-satisfaction examined between the relationship of e-banking mobile application's quality factors and consumers' e-loyalty. The data were collected through 218 consumers of private banks in Pakistan using convenience sampling. The questionnaire was adopted through literature. The statistical tool Smart PLS 3.2.8 has been utilized to do partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The reliability and trust have significantly influenced e-loyalty in findings, while mobile application design reveals an insignificant effect on e-loyalty. The study contributed to the existing literature on e-banking by using cognitive-motivational-relational theory through mediating role of e-satisfaction. The present research anticipated offering guidelines to improve customer satisfaction and consumer loyalty in developing countries' private banking sectors.

This paper investigates the role of psychological climate and workplace gamification as determinants in predicting employee engagement. An empirical research was conducted with 320 respondents from private banking sector in India. The data was collected through self administered Google doc form and was analyzed through structural modeling (SEM) which is a measurable procedure for evaluating and testing relation among variables by a blend of measurable statistical data and subjective causal presumptions. SEM is an extremely common, linear, principally cross-sectional measurable displaying technique. The findings of the results confirmed that psychological climate and workplace gamification positively and significantly predict employee engagement. Psychological climate and workplace gamification explain 40% of the variance concerning employee engagement. The practical significance of the study is of most extreme significance for private banking sector confronting high pressure workload and disengagement. This study explored the relationship among employee engagement, psychological climate and workplace gamification which hasn’t done on a theoretical and empirical basis in the Indian context.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to conduct an empirical investigation on how country-specific characteristics such as the quality of the institutional environment and the restrictiveness of capital control policy affect domestic financial sector’s ability to provide liquidity to the economy. Design/methodology/approach This study uses panel regressions on international banking data across 102 countries from Bankscope. Findings The results show that strong institutions and looser capital control in a country enhance the banks’ role as the liquidity provider to the economy. The study also finds that institutional quality and capital control have a dynamic effect that influences the creation of liquidity. Better institutions benefit the creation of liquidity in either under normal economic conditions or during economic downturn. Loosened capital control, as a result of financial openness, facilitates liquidity creation under normal economic conditions. Originality/value This study complements the research on the role of country-level institutions in financial and economic development and suggests a liquidity channel through which a country’s institutions can further economic growth. The study also provides evidence on the impact of a country’s control of capital flows on the role of banking sector in domestic economy.

While service failure is inevitable in the banking sector, the manner in which service recovery efforts are expedited poses vital implications for organizations vested in profitable relationships with their clients. In this vein, this study investigates the significance of post-transgression forgiveness in defining the resultant satisfaction levels of customers. A structured questionnaire was self-administered among 371 premium banking customers. The findings point to the salience of selected service recovery efforts towards the forgiveness inclinations and ultimate satisfaction levels of banking customers. In particular, both bank reciprocity norms (ß=0.459; p<0.000) and extra-role behavior (ß=0.348; p<0.000) positively influence post-transgression forgiveness by customers. On the other hand, extra-role behavior (ß=0.407; p<0.000) and forgiveness (ß=0.373; p<0.000) positively influence bank service satisfaction. Nevertheless, bank reciprocity was found to have a positive influence on extra-role behavior (ß=0.548; p<0.000) in this study. The findings suggest the need for the development of a prescribed set of guidelines and bank procedures to support personalized service recovery efforts in the wake of service failures.

While the use of vinegar to fi ght against infections and other crucial conditions dates back to Hippocrates, recent research has found that vinegar consumption has a positive effect on biomarkers for diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. Different types of vinegar have been used in the world during different time periods. Vinegar is produced by a fermentation process. Foods with a high content of carbohydrates are a good source of vinegar. Review of the results of different studies performed on vinegar components reveals that the daily use of these components has a healthy impact on the physiological and chemical structure of the human body. During the era of Hippocrates, people used vinegar as a medicine to treat wounds, which means that vinegar is one of the ancient foods used as folk medicine. The purpose of the current review paper is to provide a detailed summary of the outcome of previous studies emphasizing the role of vinegar in treatment of different diseases both in acute and chronic conditions, its in vivo mechanism and the active role of different bacteria.

SummaryLiposomes of pure phospholipids were used in a modified APTT test system and the role of phosphatidyl serine (PS) in determining the sensitivity of the test system to the presence of lupus anticoagulants was assessed. Six consecutive patients with lupus anticoagulants and seven haemophiliacs with anticoagulants directed at specific coagulation factors, were studied. Increasing the concentration of phospholipid in the test system markedly reduced the sensitivity to lupus anticoagulants but had marginal effect on the specific factor inhibitors. The same effect was achieved when the content of PS alone was increased in a vehicle liposome of constant composition.The results suggest that the lupus anticoagulants can best be detected by a screening method using an APTT test with a reagent of low PS content. The use of a reagent rich in PS will largely abolish the lupus anticoagulant’s effect on the APTT. An approach using the two different types of reagent may facilitate differentiation of lupus inhibitors from other types of anticoagulant.
