The problem of a person's communicative activity becomes urgent due to the transformation of previous communication constants in the current conditions of the changing world, there is a need for development of psychological tools for this activity. The article contains results of developing methodology of investigation of оrientation on communicative activity, its theoretical and psychometric analysis. The theoretical premise of the methodology is the conceptual idea of human's functions as a subject of communication (V.N. Panferov). The ideas of human's activity that is a part of integrated individuality concept (V.S. Merlin), polyphony of activity in the concept of metainividual world (L.Ya. Dorfman), integrative approach to communicative activity (S.A. Vasyura) have become the underlying theory. The methodology examines communicative, informational, cognitive, emotive, conative, creative оrientation on a person's activity that implements in the direct Internet-communication. Results of methodology's validation are discussed on a sample of 418 people 17 - 25 aged (128 males, 290 females). The research has a predictive value in examining a range of features referring to both direct and indirect (virtual) communication, as well as a person's communicative potential. This study can be used in scientific and applied researches.

The emergence and spread of Internet communication has led to changes in social relationships, abuse of the Internet and maladaptive behavior. Among the authors who have studied the impact of these changes there is no consensus, and the results of their research are often contradictory. Some authors conclude that Internet communication strengthens networks of its users, while others believe that such communication leads to reduced participation in real social life. In a number of people, excessive use of the Internet adversely affects the mental health and social life and can lead to obsession at the expense of other aspects of life and creating addiction. The greatest risk of negative impacts of online communication is among children and young people. This paper is meant to indicate, the good sides as well as the negative consequences of excessive and non-functional Internet use

Theory and research seek to isolate the properties of experts in judgment and decision-making tasks. Confidence in judgment and social projection have emerged as two important meta-judgmental markers. The joint utility of these two indicators of expertise has not been considered yet. We show that the joint study of individual and contextual differences in confidence and projection offers new opportunities to understand expertise. Our theoretical premise is that experts can solve difficult tasks, and do so with high confidence while knowing that few others accomplish this. In a reanalysis of data from Prelec and colleagues (2017) we show that expert judgments are accompanied by higher confidence and less social projection than judgments made by non-experts. Only among experts, confidence and projection are weakly correlated. Moreover, experts align their rate of projection with the difficulty of the judgment task. The present results support a new and integrative approach to the study of experts and expert judgment. We discuss the limitations of the present work and point to future research questions.

As communication becomes easier with the proliferation of ICT (Internet Communication Technology), more companies and individuals face the need and challenge of creating and facilitating virtual teams. Those are groups of people that contact each other only by the means of the internet, with no real-world physical face-to-face contact. Despite the numerous benefits, as low-to-non monetary costs and enormous creation flexibility, there are also many (psychological) risks, often not apparent from the outside. In the current paper we discuss the teaching program that was designed to foster virtual communication skills. We describe a project conducted simultaneously between Palacký University (Olomouc, CZ) and University of Opole (Opole, PL) in the summer term of 2015. We argue that such classes have a potential for individual and business development, provided the necessary preparations are made.

The purpose of the article is to investigate the history of blogs and determine the dynamics of their development. The methodology involves the use of historical, bibliographic, and analytical methods. The scientific novelty of the work is that it is the first attempt to describe the history of blogs from their appearance to the present day. With the rapid development of Internet communications in modern society, new forms of virtual communication have appeared, which are of interest to representatives of different segments of the population, professions, preferences, ages. Blogging allows people to express themselves, to present themselves to the world, to find like-minded people. In addition, such online communication is an opportunity to relax, work and develop. This led to the emergence of a new profession – a blogger. Due to the ability to communicate freely in time and space, the blogosphere has become a presentation platform for many political, religious, social, and cultural formations. Most companies now have at least one blogger who creates relevant content. Since evolution, blogs have come a long way, change, and improvement. Initially, the first Internet posts appeared. Later, this phenomenon was called a blog, which led to the emergence of derivative concepts, such as blogger, blogging, blogosphere, video blog, etc. Gradually, special platforms were created for blogs, where contributors discussed political, military, social, cultural, and other issues. In the early twentieth century, bloggers became a source of information for the media, causing social resonance. Some sites have combined blogging platforms and social networks and began to contain video, photo, and audio content. The coronavirus pandemic in the world has given a powerful impetus to the development of Internet communication, and the blogosphere is now experiencing considerable prosperity. Conclusions. The blog has come a long way from 1994 to the present. Every year, it gains momentum in its development, generates new online contributors, and gains a new audience. Blogs perform a number of important functions: cognitive, educational, presentation, relaxation, etc., which determine their significant popularity and, consequently, further development. Therefore, the question of the state of blogs and their history will always be relevant.

The article deals with the problem of the reverse influence of the Internet and chat communication on the spoken language based on the "Language of scum" in the Russian-speaking Internet. Today, this problem is relevant, since the development of the Internet has contributed to the widespread use of slang among the younger generation. The Internet today is a source of information. But the speed and availability of communication between users made it possible to use the Internet not only as a cognitive tool, but also as a means of communication and entertainment. And virtual communication, which arose due to the rapid development of the network, gave rise to a special language - the language of virtual communication. The numerous chats, open forums and personal pages created on the network are the main ways of communication among young people. Over the years, a special language has developed in the programs - slang, the so-called language of Internet communication, in which users communicate with each other. And every day he actively penetrates into our daily life. This study is a kind of appeal not only for adolescents, but also for the adult population. I would like people to think about the fact that we need to protect our language and not succumb to the influence of slang when communicating on social networks. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the results of this study will be useful to students in order to preserve their native language.

The paper aims to explore the Internet nickname as a main anthroponymic unit of Internet communication, an integral part of a virtual personality, and an outcome of complex psycholinguistic processes of self-naming. An overview of key studies of this phenomenon leads the author to conclude that it still lacks proper theoretical grounding, which is largely due to its specific properties that impede research. The article focuses on the issues that arise at the stage of material selection. The main points for discussion were suggested both by the analysis of existing research on the topic, as well as empirical data collected during almost ten years of anthroponymic studies of German-language virtual communication. The first issue relates to the necessity of using external sources (users’ personal data, their social media imprint) for reliable analysis and interpretation of nicknames. Thereby, the paper argues the relevance of content and discourse analysis for studying virtual personality, as well as interviewing the users to obtain a comprehensive research file. Since random sampling remains the key method for selecting factual material, the question persists about the sufficient amount of the data. The article highlights the solutions proposed by different researchers and gives sociolinguistic groundings to the minimal number of data that ensures a representative sample of aliases. Finally, the question of the choice of sources is raised. The author concludes that an unconditional trend in anthroponymic research of nicknames is the study of units within one specific Internet service.
