Changes in dynamics of economic development of Latvia and its regions are characterised by changes of consumer behaviour and socio-economic factors. The purpose of the chapter is to study and analyse the peculiarities of socio-economic factors and consumer behaviour based on methods of economic and mathematical analysis and evaluation. It is important to analyse the influence of socio-economic factors, which determine consumer behaviour in the regional economics. Unemployment, prices, average wage, and industry output volume influences Latvia's consumer behaviour features. As a rule, in the region with the highest average wage there are higher expenditures and vice versa. Latvia's consumers' consumption is characterised by significant consumer division into two dominating groups: the rich and the poor. Each of these two social groups has its own consumption peculiarities.

The purpose of the article to determine the category of "individual labor mobility", to reveal its methodological foundations of research and justify the need for it and the direction of government regulation. On the basis of official statistical data have been identified and analyzed the socio-economic factors, which have now negative impact on the individual labor mobility in Ukraine (unsatisfactory dynamics and structure of incomes of the population, a significant social inequalities and lack of a strong middle class, lack of labor market flexibilisation, deformed economic system of the country). Based on the analysis set forth the priorities of state regulation of individual labor mobility in Ukraine.

Our paper seeks answers to the following questions: What are the determinants of permanent emigration from Poland and how do they vary for specific economic age groups (pre-working, working, and post-working age)? Do the causes of permanent emigration differ over space in these categories, and if so, how? We applied GIS and ESDA instruments, including geographically weighted regression, which allowed us to identify the variability of regression coefficients in the geographical space. Our research indicated socio-economic factors (among others: poviats budget income, feminisation rate, unemployment rate), which, with varying force and in varying directions, affected the studied variable in specific parts of the country. The analyses were performed on the basis of statistical data on the numbers of de-registrations for residence abroad in Poland’s NUTS-4 in three economic age groups (pre-working, working, and post-working age) for the time span from 2005 to 2013.

The article analyzes the statistical data relating to training specialists for digitalized economy by secondary vocational and higher education institutions. The purpose of the study was to develop and test personnel support indices for digitalization of the economy, as well as to identify social and economic factors that significantly affect the level of personnel support for the processes of digital transformation of the economy. The authors applied data from the official statistical reporting of the Russian Federation. The proposed staffing indices were modeled as objective functions depending on socio-economic factors characterizing the development of the economy in different dimensions. At the same time, the indices themselves were calculated as values in which the parameters of the output of digital specialists and their relevance in the economy were correlated. In the course of the study, a comparison of statistical and neural network data modeling methods and generalizing indices was performed. An analysis of the obtained regression models and an analysis of the sensitivity of trained neural networks made it possible to evaluate their accuracy in predicting the trends in the staffing of the digital economy and to identify factors that significantly affect the achievement of the goal of matching the output of specialists and the demands of economic sectors.

Recently in the Russian market appeared a new financial tool - individual investment account (IIA). Its main purpose is to increase the participation of the economically active population in the IIA. The main idea of the scientific article is to identify the main obstacles to the development of IIA in the Khakassia Republic and determine the most significant factors affecting the development of this financial instrument. In this connection, this article identifies the main problems, supported by a factual justification, preventing citizens from being involved in transactions with this instrument. A correlation-regression analysis of socio-economic factors was carried out on the basis of statistical data in order to determine which of them had the greatest impact on the opening of the IIA in Russia. A link between the development of IIA and the economic security of the region is made.

One of the important factors influencing the development and competitiveness of economies is creative capital. It differs significantly among European countries, which has an influence on income and quality of life. The aim of the research discussed in this article is to determine the level of creative capital in Europe and to identify its determinants. The starting point of the analysis is the 3T theory (talent, technology, tolerance), formulated by Richard Florida, and the concept of a creativity index, which derives from the theory. The concept does not define creative capital precisely, therefore, this article proposes its measures based on statistical data obtained from Eurostat and a synthetic measure of creative capital. Data relating to European countries and covering the period of 2011–2018 were used. Moreover, an attempt was made to determine the level of creative capital by means of socio-economic factors (e.g. the number of people working in creative professions, the structure of the population by age and income, and expenditure on culture). Empirical analyses indicate significant differences in the level of creative capital in Europe. This is mainly influenced by the level of the wealth of economies and the number of people working in creative occupations, while cultural expenditure is less important for the development of creative capital.

To find out the first purpose of the data analyzed using a Likert scale, to find out the second purpose of the data analyzed using the Sperman Rank statistical Nonparametric test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The level of dynamism of the Anugerah Mollo Farmer Group in Netpala Village, North Mollo District, South Central Timor Regency, is in the very dynamic category of 84%, (2) The relationship of socio-economic factors is only one of the five variables that are significantly related namely land area with a coefficient of rs 0.278 and t = 1.782 count greater than t table 1.699 (p> 0.05), while other social factors such as age, formal education, number of family dependents, and experience of farming show no significant relationship with the level of dynamism of Anugerah Mollo Farmers Group in Netpala Village.
