To determine the effectiveness of the use of organic fertilizers on the growth rate of grass mulato (brachiaria hybrid cv mulato) which is planted on the soil after mining PT. Vale, bro. located in sorowako, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This Research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial (4 x 3) with 3 times replication for each treatment combination. Factor A as a type of fertilizer  and Factor B as a cutting age. Experiments are 36 total units. The results showed that the plant height given liquid organic fertilizer was significantly higher (P <0.01) than the plant height rate in the post-mining soil which was given granular fertilizer. This difference occurs because liquid organic fertilizer is faster absorbed by plants than organic solid fertilizer (granules). Post-mining land which is used as a medium for mulato grass growth is actually not a barrier to use. The conclusion of this research is the use of organic fertilizers in the cultivation of grass mulato (Brachiaria hybrid cv. Mulato) on post-mining land gave a positive response. The use of organic liquid fertilizer provides the best response compared to the control and solid organic fertilizer (granule).

ABSTRAK Penelitian dengan metode eksperimental yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kombinasi dosis pemupukan kompos organik dan penambahan azolla terhadap pertumbuhan rumput raja (Pennisetum purpureophoides). Penelitian telah dilakukan pada tanggal 1 April sampai 30 September 2020 terletak di lahan pertanian, Desa Beji, Kecamatan Kedungbanteng, Kabupaten Banyumas. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial dengan faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk kompos organik yakni 10, 20, dan 30 ton ha-1, dan penambahan azolla yakni 10, 20, 30 persen dari faktor pertama sehingga dihasilkan 9 kombinasi perlakuan. Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga menghasilkan 27 satuan percobaan. Tanaman rumput raja pada pemotongan kedua ditanam pada lahan seluas 400 meter persegi dengan jarak tanam 80 x 40 cm. Pupuk kompos organik yang digunakan berasal dari kotoran sapi potong yang telah selesai proses pengomposan, dan azolla berasal dari lahan persawahan. Parameter penelitian yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, dan diameter batang yang diukur pada hari ke 14, 28, dan 42 hari. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji orthogonal polinomial. Hasil menunjukan bahwa pemberian dosis kompos berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang, sedangkan pemberian pupuk azolla juga berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang, akan tetapi interaksi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Pemberian dosis pupuk kompos organik dapat digunakan untuk mencapat pertumbuhan rumput raja yang terbaik sebesar 30 ton ha-1 dan penambahan azolla sebesar 30 persen dari dosis pupuk organik. Kata kunci: Azolla, Kompos, Pertumbuhan, Rumput Raja ABSTRACT Research with experimental method aims to examine the effect of combination dose of organic compost fertilization and the addition of Azolla on the growth of king grass (Pennisetum purpureophoides). From April 1 to September 30, 2020, research was conducted on agricultural land, Beji Village, Kedungbanteng District, Banyumas Regency. The experiment used a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern with the first factor being the dose of organic compost, namely 10, 20, and 30 tons ha-1, and the addition of Azolla, namely 10, 20, 30 percent of the first factor, resulting in 9 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination was repeated three times to produce 27 experimental units. The king grass plant in the second cutting was planted on ??400 square meters with a spacing of 80 x 40 cm. The organic compost used is derived from beef cattle dung that has finished the composting process, and Azolla comes from rice fields. Research parameters measured were plant height and stem diameter measured on days 14, 28, and 42 days. The data that had been obtained were then analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the orthogonal polynomial test. The results showed that the dose of compost had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on plant height and stem diameter, while the application of Azolla fertilizer also had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on plant height and stem diameter, but the interaction had no effect significant (P>0.05). Dosage of organic compost can be used to achieve the best king grass growth of 30 tons ha-1 and the addition of Azolla by 30 percent of the dose of organic fertilizer. Response of  Oil Palm Seedling (Elaeis guineensis) In Pre Nursery On Giving Doses of Nasa Liquid Organic Fertilizers  and Intervals. The purpose of this research is to know the doses and interval of Nasa organic liquid fertilizer (OLF) and the combination of dosage and OLF Nasa interval to the best palm seeds in pre nursery. The research was conducted in UPTD Seed Plantation Plantation Supervision of East Kalimantan Province in 2015. The study used Factorial completely randomized design (CRD)  5 x 4 with nine replications. The first factor was the treatment of OLF Nasa doses in a concentration of 3 cc OLF Nasa per liter of water (D) consisting of 5 levels, namely: d0 = 0 ml OLF Nasa, d1 = 300 ml OLF Nasa, d2 = 400 ml OLF Nasa, d3 = 500 ml OLF Nasa and d4 = 600 ml OLF Nasa. The second factor is the treatment of OLF Nasa (I) Interval Interval consisting of 4 levels, namely: i1 = 1 week, i2 = 2 weeks, i3 = 3 weeks and i4 = 4 weeks. Thus there were 16 treatments and each treatment was repeated 9 times so that the total was 180 seeds. Data were analyzed statistically and tested further with the smallest real difference test (BNT) at 5% level.The results showed that the dosage of 500 ml OLF in the concentration of 3 cc OLF Nasa liter-1 of water gave the highest plant height that is an average 28.73 cm. While the OLF Nasa interval once a week gives the highest plant height is an average of 29.33 cm.

Abstract The use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture has caused soil degradation and is harmful to human health. Organic fertilizers made from animal waste have received worldwide attention because they are not detrimental to health or the environment. This paper describes the effect of using organic fertilizers from chicken manure on the growth of papaya plants. A completely randomized design was used in this study using two factors and three repetitions; the variations of the fertilizers given were 0, 50, 100, 150, and 200 g. This study informed that organic chicken manure had a significant effect on the growth of oil palm and papaya plants. The best growth is oil palm and papaya plants given 200 g of organic fertilizer from chicken manure.

Effect of NASA Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Compost Fertilizer on Kenaf Plant Growth (Hibiscus cannabinus L). This study aims to determine the effect of NASA POC, compost fertilizer and the interaction of NASA POC and compost fertilizer on kenaf plants. This research was carried out at East Borneo Samarinda Indonesia. with a time of ± 4 months, starting from June to September 2016. The design of the study uses factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consists of 2 factors. The first factor is the administration of NASA POC consisting of 4 levels, namely: j0: Control (without treatment), j1: POC with a concentration of 10 ml / liter of water, j2: POC with a concentration of 15 ml / liter of water, j3: POC with a concentration of 20 ml / liter of water. The second factor is Compost fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely: k0: Without the provision of Compost Fertilizer, k1: Composting 500 gram / polybag, k2: Composting Fertilizer 700 grams / polybag, k3: Composting 800 grams / polybag. From the analysis of variance showed that the effect of giving NASA POC (J), compost (K) and the interaction of NASA POC and compost (JK) did not affect the parameters of plant height 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP, stem diameter 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP, number of leaves 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP, leaf area 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP.

Many sources of raw materials which allegedly can enrich the nutrient content in the organic fertilizer. The weakness of organic fertilizer for this is the low level of nutrients contained in them.This study aims to determine the nutrient content contained in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material.This study aims to determine the nutrient content in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material. The research was conducted to determine the growth and productivity of cassava plants that are given organic fertilizers and their potential waste as ruminant animal feed. The research was conducted at Kerthi Winangun Farmers Group, Bukti village, Kubutambahan District, Buleleng Regency. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design with three fertilization treatments and twelve replications. The fertilizer given were: cow dung 5 kg/plant (UK1), compost 5 kg/plant (UK2) and cow dung 5 kg/plant + bio urine 300 ml/plant (UK3). The Parameters observed were (1) plant growth (height, Number of leaves and tubers), (2) tuber production, (3) waste (leaf and peel) production and (4) carrying capacity. The result shows that application of 5 kg compost/plant yielded the highest tuber, leaf and peel production was respectively 1789,25±475,50, 667 ± 104 and 416,61±18 g/plant. Production of this peel can be used to feed 1.29-1.52 cattle/ha/year or 10.73-12,68 goat/ha/year. In conclusion, the cassava that was given with 5 kg compost per plant has the highest production to be used as a source of feed for ruminants.

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Tanijau organic fertilizer and organic fertilizer SMS Agrobost and its interaction with green eggplant growth and yield.The research method using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) in a 4x4 factorial experiment, with two treatment factors, was repeated as many as 4 repetitions. Factor I is the dose of Tanijau organic fertilizer (t), consisting of 4 levels, that is: without organic fertilizer Tanijau or control (t0), 2kg / polybag (t1), 4kg / polybag (t2), and 6kg / polybag (t3) . Factor II is the concentration of organic fertilizer SMS Agrobost (a), consisting of 4 levels, namely: without organic fertilizer SMS Agrobost or control (a0), 5ml / liter water (a1), 10ml / liter water (a2), and 15ml / liter of water (a3).The results showed that Tanijau organic fertilizer (t) was very different on plant height 15 days after planting, 30 days after planting, 45 days after flowering age, harvest age, weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant and the amount of fruit per plant is most achieved in the treatment of organic fertilizer Tanijau 6kg / polybag (t3) is1.519.56gr, while the least fruit cultivation is achieved at the treatment of t0 (without the dosage of Tanijau organic fertilizer) that is1.082,93gr.The effect of organic fertilizer SMS Agrobost differed significantly on plant height of planting age, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, average weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, fruit length per plant and fruit diameter per plant and number of fruit per plant. Treatment interaction was significantly different to fruit weight per plant, but was not significantly different from plant height 15, 30 and 45 days after planting.

<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT <br /></em></strong></p><p><em>The use of inorganic fertilizers to increase crop productivity can be suppressed by switching it to organic fertilizers. The abundance of cow urine waste can be used as organic fertilizer and to be used as biourine. This study was aimed at </em><em>determining </em><em>the effect of biofertilizers and molasses toward biourine quality and its effect on productivity of pakchoy. This research was conducted in UPT Compost Brawijaya University, and glasshouses in Sukapura Village, Probolinggo in August to November 2016. This research consisted of two steps. First production of biourine with the addition of organic material such as molasses, biofertilizers, and empon-empon namely turmeric, galangal, and Kaempferia galanga, which consists of 12 treatments with 3 replications arranged in a completely randomized design, and application of biourine on pakchoy consisting of 6 treatments (control, doses of 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup>) with three replications. The results of first step showed E1 treatment (10 L biourine + 30 ml + 750 ml molasses) can improve N-total 860%, organic matter 282%, and </em><em>population of microbe 1229%</em><em>. The best biourine in first research (E1 treatment) was applied with dose 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup> showed the best result. It showed to increase the number of leaves as much as 48% and the fresh weight of pakchoy by 405% when compared to no biourine treatment.</em><em></em></p><p><em>Keywords: biofertilizer, inceptisols, soil health, and population of microbe</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK <br /></strong></p><p>Penggunaan pupuk anorganik untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman dapat ditekan dengan beralih menggunakan pupuk organik. Melimpahnya limbah urin sapi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik dengan dijadikan biourin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan pupuk hayati dan molase terhadap kualitas biourin dan pengaruhnya terhadap produktivitas pakchoy. Penelitian dilakukan di UPT Kompos Universitas Brawijaya, dan rumah kaca di Desa Sukapura, Probolinggo pada bulan Agustus sampai Nopember 2016. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 tahap, pertama pembuatan biourin dengan penambahan bahan organik berupa molase, pupuk hayati, dan empon-empon (kunyit, lengkuas, dan kencur) yang terdiri dari 12 taraf perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan pada Rancangan Acak Lengkap, dan kedua pengaplikasian biourin pada tanaman pakchoy yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan (kontrol, dosis 200, 300, 400, 500, dan 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup>) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian tahap pertama menujukkan perlakuan E1 (10 L urin + 30ml pupuk hayati + 750ml molase) mampu meningkatkan N-total 860%, bahan organik 282%, dan populasi mikroba sebesar 1229%. Aplikasi biourin terbaik pada penelitian tahap 1 (perlakuan E1) dengan dosis 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup> pada tanaman pakchoy menunjukkan hasil terbaik, ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya jumlah daun sebanyak 48% dan bobot basah tanaman sebesar 405% jika dibandingkan tanpa pemberian biourin.</p><p>Kata kunci: inceptisol, kesuburan tanah, mikroba, dan pupuk organik cair</p>

Abstract Turi (Sesbania grandiflora) is a multi-purpose plant, including leaves for animal feed, flowers for human food and wood for wood pellets. Eco enzyme is produced from the fermentation of fruits containing enzymes and organic acids. The application of Eco enzyme, among others as biocatalist to improve plant productivity. This paper aims to study dilution of Eco Enzym which was applied to Turi plants to increase its productivity This study used a completely randomized design, namely: T1: Eco enzyme dilution 1: 100; T2: 1: 200; T3: 1: 300 whereas there were 5 replications. Parameters were plant height, stem diameter, number of branches, leaf width and number of flowers. The results of this research were that the parameters of plant height, leaf of width, number of flowers had significant effect by the 1:100 dilution treatment (p<0,05). However, there was no significant effect on stem diameter and and the number of branches. The best response to eco enzyme was 1: 100.

Abstract. Syahrinudin, Hartati W, Sudarmadji T, Krisdianto N, Ibrahim. 2019. Biochar enriched with organic fertilizer improves the survival and growth rate of Anthocepalus cadamba seedlings planted on degraded spodosols. Biodiversitas 20: 3741-3750. The application of biochar for the improvement of soil properties and fertility has drawn enormous interest worldwide nowadays and numerous application options are now available. This research was aimed to evaluate the effects of the application of biochar and organic fertilizers on the survival and growth of Anthocepalus cadamba seedlings planted on degraded spodosols soil on bioassay trial in the nursery. Bioassay trial was carried out in the nursery of Faculty of Forestry, Mulawarman University, Samarinda, Indonesia, employing a 2-factors Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with factor 1 was the rate of biochar application (i.e. six levels of treatment: 0 (control), 2, 5, 10, 25 and 100%v of biochar), and factor 2 (enrichment of organic fertilizers, i.e. with enrichment and without enrichment), and each treatment combination had 3 replications. The results showed that biochar application alone improved height and diameter growth rate of A. cadamba seedlings by 253% and 116% of control treatment (without biochar), respectively. Enrichment of organic fertilizers gave further improvement in height and diameter growth rate of A. cadamba seedlings to 386% and 150% of control treatment (without biochar), respectively. Furthermore, biochar application improved survival and biomass growth rate of the seedlings. Enrichment of organic fertilizers into biochar improved not only seedling growth rate but also more interestingly the carrying capacity of spodosols to biochar application rate. We concluded that biochar application complemented with enrichment of organic fertilizers on spodosols is highly promising for the improvement of both soil carbon sequestration and plant growth performance.
