Many sources of raw materials which allegedly can enrich the nutrient content in the organic fertilizer. The weakness of organic fertilizer for this is the low level of nutrients contained in them.This study aims to determine the nutrient content contained in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material.This study aims to determine the nutrient content in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material. The experiment used a completely randomized design with raw materials as treatments, Livestock Waste Rabbit (LTK), Cow Manure (PKS) and Abu Straw Rice (AJP). Such treatment: B1 = LTK; B2 = LTK: PKS = 2: 1; B3 = LTK: AJP = 3: 1; B4 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 6: 2: 1; B5 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 5: 2: 1; B6 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 4: 2: 1; B7 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 3: 2: 1; B8 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 2: 2: 1; B9 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 1: 2: 1. The research concluded (a) Organic fertilizers are made from various materials raw has fulfilled SNI 19-7030-2004 about the specifications of Organic Waste Compost. (B) A combination of organic fertilizer raw materials significantly affect the nutrient content of manure. (C) Organic fertilizers expectations are: (a) Raw materials of animal wastes rabbit (LTK), (b) LTK: PKS: AJP = 6: 2: 1, (c) LTK: PKS: AJP = 2: 2: 1 and (d) LTK: PKS: AJP = 1: 2: 1.

Abstract The use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture has caused soil degradation and is harmful to human health. Organic fertilizers made from animal waste have received worldwide attention because they are not detrimental to health or the environment. This paper describes the effect of using organic fertilizers from chicken manure on the growth of papaya plants. A completely randomized design was used in this study using two factors and three repetitions; the variations of the fertilizers given were 0, 50, 100, 150, and 200 g. This study informed that organic chicken manure had a significant effect on the growth of oil palm and papaya plants. The best growth is oil palm and papaya plants given 200 g of organic fertilizer from chicken manure.

<p>The potential of Exotic Earth worm Endogeik (Pontoscolex corethrurus) for Production Vermikompos granules (Vermigran) Local Organil-Based Materials. In 2011, total demand for organic fertilizer in Indonesia was 12.394 million tons and 2.601 million tons of new available. This requirement will continue to increase until 2015, so the opportunity to develop great organic fertilizer. One disadvantage of the use of organic fertilizers is very much in volume (bulky), it is necessary vermikompos manufacturing innovation in the form of granules to be more efficient in the applicationand transport. Research objectives are: (1) study the potential of earthworms in producing vermikompos Pontoscolex corethrurus of l ocal organic ingredients, and (2)produce quality vermikompos in the form of granules. The study was conducted in a greenhouse Fak. Agriculture and in the yard of a house in Ngesrep, Boyolali, in July-November 2011. The study design using a Completely Randomized Design, factorial,two factor. Factor 1 is composed of three types of worms cedar, and the second factoris the variation of the type of organic material, consisting of 7 cedar. The variablesmeasured were vermikompos nutrient quality and speed of the water solubility vermikompos granules. The results showed that Pontoscolex corethrurus high potentialto produce vermikompos that meet ISO quality compost. Cow pile, pile quail, water hyacinth can be used as a raw material vermikompos. Clay, starch, starch and claymixture (1:1) can be used as an adhesive vermikompos granules (vermigran) soluble in water at &lt;48 hours. Production vermigran great potential for developmentas a high-quality organic fertilizer.</p>

The large number of rice fields in Borikamase Village, resulting in high production of hay, requires an appropriate effort to use straw into organic fertilizer or bokashi which is environmentally friendly as well as safe for plants. The use of straw into bokashi or organic fertilizer needs to be taught to the farming community, so the community service team focuses on providing assistance and training to the community in utilizing straw as a raw material in making bokashi by using microorganisms as the source of fermentation. In addition, the high price of synthetic fertilizers on the market makes farmers in Borikamase Village feel heavy in providing nutritional supplies to their agricultural areas, so that this training is expected to help farmers by obtaining fertilizers that are cheap, safe, and of good quality to fertilize. The existence of biotechnology applications, provides the right solution in overcoming the damage to bald mountains and the scarcity and high price of synthetic fertilizers, namely by processing straw into bokashi or organic fertilizers with high nutrient content and are safe for the environment. In addition, providing knowledge and skills for farming communities as agents of reform in restoring ecosystem balance through the application of bokashi made of straw on rice fields. Edible coating is one form of packaging technology with environmentally friendly theme. The raw materials of edible coating derived from nature, while the waste is decomposed or even zero waste. The research of edible coating using experimental design RAL (completely randomized design) with two factors, namely the type of raw material used tuber starch (cassava, arrowroot and canna) and the percentage of starch (3%, 4% and 5%) (b/v) with three replications time. The quality analisys of edible coating includes the physical properties (thickness (mm), tensile strength (N) and elongation (mm)) and chemical properties (moisture content (%), solubility (%), the water vapor transmissin rate (g/hour) and peroxide (mek/kg). The research showed that the edible coating with sorbitol plasticizer of arrowroot starch 4% provide best physicochemical properties (thickness 0,09mm; 1,63N tensile strength; elongation 84,38mm; water content of 11.19%; solubility of 31.40%; the transfer of water vapor 0,16g / h and 3,20mek/ kg).

<p>As a result of volcanic eruptions led to the fall of the ash, but there is no much research conducted against nutrient content and the nutrient availability in soil. Disposals of volcanic ash and organic matter are expected fill Mg need in the land. Magnesium In Alfisol is still  sufficientless for peanuts. The purpose of this research is study of the impact of volcanic ash and organic fertilizer for the availability and uptake of peanuts Mg  in the Alfisol. The experiments did  in a greenhouse used completely randomized design with one factor. Data were analyzed with F test rate from 95%, and if the  treatments showed significant influenced were continued with rate duncan's multiple range test fence from 95%. The observed variables include the levels of chlorophyll, available Mg and uptake Mg. Research results show that the interaction from treatment chlorophyll content, available Mg and uptake  Mg. Based on the findings of the observations of volcanic ash disposals operating significantly impact the availability of magnesium.</p>

Snack bar is a snack that is consumed between meals. Snack bars are usually made from nuts, cereals, and dried fruit. Snack bars are made to meet nutritional intake and overcome hunger amid busy activities. Snack bar products made from local raw materials need to be developed considering the many sources of food that have functional benefits. Samples were tested for carbohydrate, protein, fat, moisture content, and ash content. The results obtained were then statistically analyzed using a completely randomized design analysis. The study used 7 treatments and 3 replications so that the researcher had 21 experimental units. The comparison treatment of gude bean flour with red beans and kratok beans on snack bar products has a carbohydrate content of 41.826 – 45.310%, protein 13,234 – 33,869%, fat 10.046 – 10.796%, ash content 0.704 – 1.343%, and water content 6.344 – 6.819%.

The organic fertilizers such as urban wet-waste compost and vermicompost can improve the physicochemical properties of soil and have a favourite effect on plants growth due to the high nutrient content, high water holding capacity, plant growth regulators, and beneficial microorganisms. In this regard, this study was conducted to evaluate the organic fertilizer mixture on the physiological and morphological indices of tomato seedlings under greenhouse conditions. The experiment was done as factorial in a completely randomized design with 3 replications. The evaluated factors included the vermicompost fertilizer (0, 10, 20, 30 wt %), and the urban wet-waste compost (0, 10, 20, 30 wt %). In evaluation of the simple-effects of vermicompost and urban wet-waste compost the results showed that the 30 wt % level compared to the control sample increased the leaf area (+12.28% and +9.33%). It also increased the number of leaves (+17.5% and +22.9%), dry weight of root (+17.3% and +16.9%), chlorophyll-b content (+4.9% and +12.3 %), carotenoids (+2.9% and +7.9 %), and the total chlorophyll content (+23.7% and +13.8%). Results of evaluating the treatments showed that the vermicompost and urban wet-waste compost mixture in 30 wt % level (V4C4) caused significant increase in the plant height, leaf dry weight, root length, relative water content, cell membrane stability coefficient, efficiency of photochemical performance of PSII and the chlorophyll-a content (compared to other treatments especially low levels of organic fertilizer consumption). According to the final results of this study, using the vermicompost and urban wet waste compost mixture in 30 wt % level is recommended to improve the morphological and physiological traits of tomato in greenhouse conditions.

The objectve of this research was to obtain the best materials composition and adhesive of organic pot for forest trees seedling production. Organic pot strength was evaluated by testing the strength of rupture elasticity and elasticity stiffness of each composition. The bioassay testing used Completely Randomized Design with factorial pattern, consisting of two factors, (1) basic raw materials of the pot (used newspaper, litter and compost) and (2) the type of adhesive (control, tanin and starch). The results showed that the adhesive starch gave higher strength, whereas adhesive tannin gave higher stiffness as compared to control. Results of bioassay showed that the mixture (50:50 v/v) of basic materials of used newspaper and compost (KKK) which were glued with tannin, produced the best results for height and diameter increament with the value of 35.85 cm, 0.31 cm respectively and biomass value of 0.99 g after 12 weeks of planting. The highest level of damage in organic pot with basic raw materials KKK without adhesive was 47.6%, whereas lowest level of damage in organic pot with basic raw material used newspaper (KK) with tannin addhesive was 2.0% after 12 weeks in the nursery.Keywords: adhesive, Gmelina arborea,organic pot, organic matter, nursery,

The research was conducted to determine the growth and productivity of cassava plants that are given organic fertilizers and their potential waste as ruminant animal feed. The research was conducted at Kerthi Winangun Farmers Group, Bukti village, Kubutambahan District, Buleleng Regency. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design with three fertilization treatments and twelve replications. The fertilizer given were: cow dung 5 kg/plant (UK1), compost 5 kg/plant (UK2) and cow dung 5 kg/plant + bio urine 300 ml/plant (UK3). The Parameters observed were (1) plant growth (height, Number of leaves and tubers), (2) tuber production, (3) waste (leaf and peel) production and (4) carrying capacity. The result shows that application of 5 kg compost/plant yielded the highest tuber, leaf and peel production was respectively 1789,25±475,50, 667 ± 104 and 416,61±18 g/plant. Production of this peel can be used to feed 1.29-1.52 cattle/ha/year or 10.73-12,68 goat/ha/year. In conclusion, the cassava that was given with 5 kg compost per plant has the highest production to be used as a source of feed for ruminants.

<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT <br /></em></strong></p><p><em>The use of inorganic fertilizers to increase crop productivity can be suppressed by switching it to organic fertilizers. The abundance of cow urine waste can be used as organic fertilizer and to be used as biourine. This study was aimed at </em><em>determining </em><em>the effect of biofertilizers and molasses toward biourine quality and its effect on productivity of pakchoy. This research was conducted in UPT Compost Brawijaya University, and glasshouses in Sukapura Village, Probolinggo in August to November 2016. This research consisted of two steps. First production of biourine with the addition of organic material such as molasses, biofertilizers, and empon-empon namely turmeric, galangal, and Kaempferia galanga, which consists of 12 treatments with 3 replications arranged in a completely randomized design, and application of biourine on pakchoy consisting of 6 treatments (control, doses of 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup>) with three replications. The results of first step showed E1 treatment (10 L biourine + 30 ml + 750 ml molasses) can improve N-total 860%, organic matter 282%, and </em><em>population of microbe 1229%</em><em>. The best biourine in first research (E1 treatment) was applied with dose 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup> showed the best result. It showed to increase the number of leaves as much as 48% and the fresh weight of pakchoy by 405% when compared to no biourine treatment.</em><em></em></p><p><em>Keywords: biofertilizer, inceptisols, soil health, and population of microbe</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK <br /></strong></p><p>Penggunaan pupuk anorganik untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman dapat ditekan dengan beralih menggunakan pupuk organik. Melimpahnya limbah urin sapi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik dengan dijadikan biourin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan pupuk hayati dan molase terhadap kualitas biourin dan pengaruhnya terhadap produktivitas pakchoy. Penelitian dilakukan di UPT Kompos Universitas Brawijaya, dan rumah kaca di Desa Sukapura, Probolinggo pada bulan Agustus sampai Nopember 2016. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 tahap, pertama pembuatan biourin dengan penambahan bahan organik berupa molase, pupuk hayati, dan empon-empon (kunyit, lengkuas, dan kencur) yang terdiri dari 12 taraf perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan pada Rancangan Acak Lengkap, dan kedua pengaplikasian biourin pada tanaman pakchoy yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan (kontrol, dosis 200, 300, 400, 500, dan 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup>) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian tahap pertama menujukkan perlakuan E1 (10 L urin + 30ml pupuk hayati + 750ml molase) mampu meningkatkan N-total 860%, bahan organik 282%, dan populasi mikroba sebesar 1229%. Aplikasi biourin terbaik pada penelitian tahap 1 (perlakuan E1) dengan dosis 600 ml L<sup>-1</sup> pada tanaman pakchoy menunjukkan hasil terbaik, ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya jumlah daun sebanyak 48% dan bobot basah tanaman sebesar 405% jika dibandingkan tanpa pemberian biourin.</p><p>Kata kunci: inceptisol, kesuburan tanah, mikroba, dan pupuk organik cair</p>
