The development of new approaches in the education system requires the use of previously unused training technologies. The development of information and communication technologies has a huge impact on changes in modern education. This article discusses one of the technologies used in the educational process - the quest technology, which is designed to increase self-education of students and improve their practical skills. The article also covers the definition of a web quest, levels, structure and tasks. Short-term and long-term types of web quest are described. The differences between the quest lesson and the regular lesson are examined.

The article analyzed the peculiarities of the interpretation of the «communication culture» in the context of scientific researches of the past and contemporary domestic researchers. An analysis was carried out to define the concept of «communication culture of a person», the approaches to the definition of this concept are singled out. The positions of scientists concerning the role of eloquence in the formation of the linguistic personality are analyzed, the language is analyzed as a «social and psychological phenomenon», historical conditions of the formation of the concept of «communication culture» are characterized, in particular, attention is focused on the formation of the linguistic personality. It was found out that studies of the ancient traditions of the formation of the language of culture make it possible to better understand modern trends in the development of the person's communication culture. Modern studies have shown that in linguistics for a long time there was no unity in the interpretation of the concepts of «language» and «communication». Problems of the formation of the culture of broadcasting have become the object of research by eminent thinkers, beginning with the period of Antiquity. The question of the formation of a culture of speech has long traditions. Note that in European linguistics, the first decades of the twentieth century. Theoretical study and approval of the concept of «culture of language» in the scientific circulation is underway. It should be noted that in connection with the introduction of information and communication technologies in all spheres of society life has increased interest in the theory and practice of eloquence. This is explained by the fact that the active use of information and communication technologies involves the search for ways of speaking influence, both on the interpersonal and on the public level. According to authoritative experts in rhetoric, L. Matsko, O. Matsko, N. Mykhailychenko, V. Poltupets, etc., there are also communicative reasons that ensure the actual and further development of the theory and practice of oratory in the XX-beginning of the XXI century.

This article examines the effectiveness of studying the Latin alphabet based on the Kazakh script using information and communication technologies, which is recognized as relevant today. The term communication and the content of information and communication technologies, their functions, types of application, general directions of the educational process were emphasized. It also presents the issues of the transition to the Latin alphabet in Kazakhstan, methods of teaching the Latin alphabet, communicative features of teaching Latin script and the role of dialogue in teaching it using ICT. The types of skills that are formed in students according to the peculiarities of the Latin alphabet based on the Kazakh script were analyzed using information and communication technologies, which is relevant today. The asynchronous and synchronous teaching method was considered, the infinite Miro.com board, edpuzzle.com task system, Google Drive repository, Coreapp.ai lesson and task system, Kahoot.com test type, obs.studio and other computer programs were analyzed. The functions of innovative educational platforms and the effectiveness of teaching the Latin alphabet based on the Kazakh writing in ICT are analyzed.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the introduction and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the special disciplines of higher education, to teach teachers how to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning through information and communication technologies. This article discusses the issues of improving the knowledge and skills of students through the use of modern information and communication technologies in the preparation of specialists, increasing students' interest in the educational process and the ability to apply their knowledge in practice in the future. The focus is on the need to develop appropriate strategies for a new educational role and, in addition, to enhance the role of learners in integrating information and communication technologies into the educational process. The role and perspective of the teachers was very important, highlighting them as key players in the process. The data show that there is a belief that the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process will help increase the effectiveness of education and facilitate the organization of the educational process. In particular, it shows that the contribution of information and communication technologies to the improvement of the educational process in educational institutions, where information and communication technologies is an innovative factor, is high. Achieving this high level means that the educational institution must not only modernize technological means, but also change the models of teaching.

The article examines higher education at the stage of transformational processes of transition to the global educational space. The importance of the discipline of a foreign language, as a means of intercultural, scientific and academic interaction in a given space is emphasized. The issues of the introduction of information and communication technologies in the process of teaching a foreign language are considered. The main regulatory documents in this area are considered. The definition of information and communication technologies as applied to the process of teaching a foreign language is given. Educational online platforms for teaching professional communication in a foreign language have been analyzed. The importance of interaction between the university and secondary school in the formation of a consistent trajectory of teaching a foreign language and professional communication in a foreign language is emphasized. Problems on the way of digitalization of the educational process are identified and solutions are proposed.

The article attempts to summarize the key approaches to the formation of competitiveness of future IT specialists by means of information and communication technologies. The theoretical aspects of a specialist's competitiveness are presented in the form of an analysis of common problems of competition and competitiveness. The definition of the term "specialist competitiveness" is offered, the understanding of competitiveness in relation to the specialist in the field of IT is specified. Statement of the problem. To achieve the requirements for graduates of engineering fields of training, it is necessary to design and implement an educational process based on the integration of competence, activity and personality-oriented approaches in the context of using information and communication technologies. The improvement of procedure for assessing the results teaching mathematics is due to the transition to competence-based paradigm of education in the context of informatization, strengthening of the role of students’ independence in the educational process, need to solve new problems in future professional activities arising in connection with the development and renewal of the production base. The purpose of the article is to develop an assessment methodology in teaching mathematics for future bachelors of engineering training in the context of informatization of education and increasing role of their independence. The research methodology consists of the analysis of regulatory documents in the field of higher education, the requirements of educational standards, analysis and generalization of the available experience on the problem under consideration. The research is based on the theory of competence-based, activity-based, personality-oriented and systematic approaches, and informatization of education. Research results. The article describes the methodology for evaluating the results of teaching mathematics to students of engineering fields of training. In accordance with the criteria for evaluating the results of teaching mathematics, key indicators of the formation of each criterion are formulated and the levels of their manifestation are described. The potential of using diagnostic tools, including electronic educational resources, has been determined. Conclusion. The implementation of a systematic methodology for assessing the results of teaching mathematics contributes to improvement of the quality of mathematical training. The conducted diagnostics helps to identify gaps in the knowledge of students and adjust the teaching methodology, thereby increasing the motivation of students to study the discipline.

Development of the global Internet and wide use of information and communication technologies represent essentially other opportunities for the organization of educational networks. It is obvious that communities of teachers at the present stage have to be focused on the creation of an innovative platform for discussion and the analysis of future tendencies in educational space, for exchange of information, new ideas and for the establishment of professional contacts.

The role of information and communication technology in the formation of cognitive activity of students are considered in the article. The relevance of this study in the education system used in the educational process of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan is analyzed. The concepts of “cognitive activity”, “cognitive activity and structure of activity”, “information and communication technologies” are clarified in the article and the relevance of the use of information and communication technologies in modern lessons is given. The forms, methods and means of enhancing the cognitive activity of students are analyzed. The main factors that motivate students to be active are listed. The possibilities of information and communication technologies that contribute to the development of cognitive interest of students are highlighted. It also presents the capabilities of multimedia technology in enhancing the cognitive activity of students, lists the main elements of this technology and the didactic capabilities of multimedia presentations.
