Internet of Things (IoT) is a dynamic global network infrastructure with standard configuration capabilities and interoperable communication protocols where physical and virtual "things" have identities, physical attributes and virtual personalities and use smart interfaces, and are integrated into the network. Water is a source of life for humans and nutrients needed by humans. One of the essential daily needs of living things in this world that cannot be separated is water. The problem or obstacle that exists with the use of artesian water is that when the meter calculation (usage standard) is still using human labor, in other words there is a mobile officer at the end of every month, while in the middle of the month the officer returns to provide a payment account receipt. Not yet, if the officer has difficulty checking, they have to be behind the customer's house if the meter (standard of use) is located behind the house, and the place is not strategic. Then sometimes the recording is not accurate because it is not in accordance with the usage of the existing customer being metered. This gives the effect of a longer process, less accurate results, and makes the job more difficult and customers also feel worried that if the staff is not careful about recording water usage, the authors are inspired to design and make a tool to make it easier to record water usage with modern technology. namely the Artetis Water Billing Information System using Water Flow and IoT-based Sim900A in the Purwoyoso village area of Semarang where people can maintain and manage water more effectively and efficiently for human survival.

Water resources sustainability is essential to life because all living things and some non-living things need it to complete their processes. The water usage is rising, hence pressure on the availability, and some instances rose to crisis level. These pressures were due to population growth, increases in irrigated land, deforestation, soil and land degradation, and wastages. Engineering is one of the majors’ components in tackling water resources sustainability. Therefore, this paper reviews the general concepts of sustainable water resources from an engineering and management perspective. The method adopted to realize the aim of the research was a thorough literature review. Engineering has three sub-components, these are Ecological, Economic, and social sustainability. Failure in one of these sub-components is a failure of the component. The literature revealed that Water resources sustainability is a multifaceted discipline therefore, engineering discipline alone would not solve it. However, this paper proffered some recommendations and the way forward. These recommendations are the steps required at the watersheds level, the engineering strategies aspects, and the management strategy. It concluded that a holistic approach where all shareholders will be involved is an ideal approach.

Abstract—Water is an important element that becomes the need of every human being, in the service provider company Clean water control of water usage is still a problem because there is no system that provides information on the use of water on the customer side, especially in the BLUD UPT SPAM Musi Rawas. Customers also find it difficult to see the amount of bills in realtime so that if the billing information has been presented then the customer can adjust the use of the water. This system will use a Waterflow Sensor to read the water flow which will then be converted to Digital data in the form of computer bits that will be processed by Arduino and then sent to the Server to be seen by the Clean Water Service Provider in this case the BLUD UPT SPAM Musi Rawas and customers.

AbstractTransformations are a central issue in making a global network do more than simple monitoring of low-amplitude variability. I explore the approach of observing at a much narrower instrumental bandwidth than is required for the scientific problem; such an approach would have the following advantages:•transformations can be handled in standard fashion at the instrumental level; at the scientific level, they can be avoided entirely,•users have almost complete freedom in specifying the shape of the scientific passbands, hence comparison of observational data with stellar atmosphere models can be maximally effective,•standard star observations can be used repeatedly, for programmes running concurrently in different scientific photometric systems,•an observer can use existing standard-star observations to create his own specially-tailored photometric system from scratch,•all-sky homogeneity of the instrumental system can be tested against space photometry such as that provided by HIPPARCOS; this will benefit other scientific systems synthesized from the same instrumental system.Key components in the hardware will be array detectors with low readout noise and a calibration lamp system designed specifically for this application. A data base provides the link between the observations (in the instrumental system) and the results (with scientific passbands defined by the end user).

Electric water heaters are responsible for a large portion of electricity consumption and water usage in the domestic sector. Smart water heaters alleviate the strain on the electricity supply grid and reduce water consumption through behavioural change, but the installation of in-line flow meters is inconvenient and expensive. A non-invasive water flow meter is proposed as an alternative. Non-invasive flow measurement is more common for high flow rates in the industrial sector than for domestic applications. Various non-invasive water measurement methods are investigated in the context of domestic hot water, and a combination of thermal- and vibration-sensing is proposed. The proposed solution uses inexpensive, easily installable, non-invasive sensors and a novel algorithm to provide the same flow measurement accuracy as existing in-line meters. The algorithm detects the beginning and end of water consumption events with an accuracy of 95.6%. Quantitative flow rate estimation was possible for flow rates greater than 5 L min⁻¹ with an accuracy of 89%, while volumetric usage estimation had an accuracy of more than 93%. The algorithm limitations were applied to field data, revealing that water consumption could be detected with an error of less than 12% within the limitations of the proposed algorithm. The paper presents a successful proof of concept for a non-invasive alternative to domestic hot water flow rate measurement.

In this paper is investigated Kosovo great desire to integrate into the global network of investment after a war. FDI flows continue to be provided for development of Kosovo. The development of manufacturing sector and processing industry and tourism in some territories of Kosovo is also a challenge that must be resolved because it will affect economic development, employment generation continued. Withdrawal of modern technology in these sectors would help in maintaining the balance between the different benefits and a clean environment. Environmental concerns caused by FDI in some territories of Kosovo are fundamental problems that require solutions. Elimination of barriers to FDI, the strengths and weaknesses that were offered to investors are the primary issues that attract investment. Except FDI are in positive correlation with GDP, at the national level factors of human resource allocation are important in the territories where the population movement due to the economic stagnation, and such cases can be found in Kosovo.
