PT. Duta Astakona Girinda is a company in the field of geomatics and spatial information management. This company was founded in early 1987 to provide consulting services for spatial information management applications, hardware, software, implementation and communication. As the experience of PT. Duta Astakona Girinda as an information and communication technology management application consulting service provider, continues to innovate. Providing services such as mapping planning, thematic maps of various needs, cartography, digitizing services, scanning, plotting. This company also provides GIS market application development services, GIS and MIS integration. Other services include conducting training, seminars and creating a spatial database. The company needs a warehouse information system to make it easier for warehouse administrators to manage incoming and outgoing goods at PT Duta Astakona Girinda. The role of this Information System is also inseparable from the users of equipment that are able to overcome the inability of human labor. The desktop application created here is internal in nature, which can only be accessed by employees.

Abstract—The need for information system development in a company is a basic requirement that must be met by each company in order to run its business processes properly. This is the basic key in a company in order to provide maximum results to find as many profits or profits. Application development or requirements in the application also provide speed for employees to carry out their activities to work properly and optimally. The development of the era requires that companies must be productive and have innovations so that the business wheel of the company can run well. This is based on the development of technology that is so fast that it requires special expertise in its application. This research is expected to be able to help some problems that exist in a company. Where its application can make it easier for employees to carry out their respective duties and roles in order to maximize their potential. Geographic Information Systems ( GIS abbreviated as Geographic Information System ) is a specialized information system that manages data having spatial information . Most to process data in the form of GIS data are still many who use desktop application or can only run on one computer while the more advanced development requires us to produce information more easily is to develop a GIS online ( via the Internet ) and can be accessed Anywhere You . This application is designed using DFD modeling and created using the programming language PHP with MySQL database as well as utilizing Google Map API . As well as to facilitate the collection of data by the field of local government development . Moreover , the existence of GIS aims to help local governments in the search for building plots parcels and ownership of data previously not been structured to be more structural and facilitate spatial data collection .

This article is based on a research project that explores the proliferation of information and communication technology (ICT) in public services. Furthermore, the research explores how the enhanced presence of ICT relates to efforts to increas-ingly individualise the service delivery. It can be argued that enhanced individualisation requires increased levels of discretion and flexibility. At the same time, this flexibility needs to be implemented within a standardized framework to ensure due process and to meet demands for efficiency. As local-level work practices in the public services are increasingly being enabled through ICT, the information systems can thus be seen to offer ’standardized flexibility’. Hence, the information systems work as both enablers of flexibility and as controllers of the same. This research explores how this duality manifests empirically at the local-level of the Norwegian employment and welfare services (NAV). It focuses on the in-terface of the information systems and local-level employees. In this article, I portray the role of the information system, Arena, with regard to how the front-line employees structure and organize their work. This portrayal reveals that the information system reflects an ideal world which is out of tune with local working conditions. The employees are thus facing gaps between the ideals of the system and their actual work context. The main purpose of the paper is to illustrate how the employees deal with this gap; I identify three types of responses and strategies. Moreover, I suggest that the relationship between the information systems and different kinds of local responses may be fruitfully analysed by drawing an analogy with choreography and dancing. The second purpose of this article is thus to outline how the metaphor of choreography may provide a suitable theoretical lens for analysing ICT-enabled standardization of work.

The development of technology information and communication has a positive impact in the way of accessible information as we need. Companies should apply this information system in their activities to win the competition. One of the parts to which the system information is considered applicable is in the system of remuneration. Though the implementation of remuneration information system, it is expected to enable to handle the remuneration transaction in the way that it can run well and be done in minimal errors. This research aims at developing a remuneration information system that includes data processing of the employee’s salary and the report. The tools that are used to perform the analysis and the design is Data Flow Diagram (DFD) while the programming language used to design the system is PHP and MySQL. The result of this research is a computerized remuneration information system that can be used to conclude that the proposed system can effectively meet what the management of a company wants.

Abstract   Software Inspiration is a company that operates in the sale of IT goods, application manufacturing services and IT consulting services. The business transaction begins with a request for a price quote from the client, the issuance of PO, the delivery of goods accompanied by a travel document, delivery of invoices, and finally the payment process. In addition, there is also a recording of expenses and the existence of a company's income statement. The recording of the transaction is done using MS. Word and Excel, which still require an increase in system performance, are therefore subject to research using survey methods, interviews, and literature studies. The application development model is done by the waterfall method. Selain itu terjadi juga pencatatan pengeluaran biaya dan adanya laporan laba rugi perusahaan. Pencatatan transaksi tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Word dan Microsoft Excel yang masih memerlukan peningkatan kinerja sistem, untuk itu dilakukan penelitian dengan metode survey, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Model pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan metode waterfall. Setelah dibangun sistem berupa aplikasi maka proses pencatatan transaksi dapat dilakukan dengan lebih mudah dan cepat, penyajian laporan transaksi dan laporan laba rugi dapat diperoleh dengan cepat dan akurat.   Kata kunci: Excel, Invoice, Panawaran Harga, Penjualan, Purchase Order, Teknologi Informasi, Waterfall

The aim of this research is to investigate the role of information system in supporting companies to face with information overload. Specifically, the study provides an empirical analysis aimed to examine whether the quality of information systems is able to abate the negative effects of information overload/underload inside a company. Through a survey we assess the managerial feelings about the information overload (and underload) and the managerial assessment of the Information System (IS) quality. Preliminary empirical findings of our survey confirm, by performing a factor analysis, previous literature and suggest the items to be monitored for assessing the information underload and information overload phenomena and the dimensions to take into account for evaluating the IS quality, namely, information processing capacity, technical equipment and communication. Furthermore, results show that when the information underload increases, the information processing capacity of IS decreases and vice versa. This relation suggests that the IS quality could affect the information overload/underload phenomena.

PT DMS Konsultan Bandar Lampung is a company engaged in tax consulting services from cooperation with companies to calculate how much obligations the company must pay. Currently processing income data by recording by the administration in the income book. This has resulted in several problems, including resulting in a higher error rate, if data is needed again it will take time to search the data and risk damage and loss of data. For this reason, community service is carried out by developing an information system for processing income data and providing training to employees regarding how to use the application.

Smart City is a fuzzy concept that has not been clearly defined either in theoretical studies or in empirical projects. Smart Cities are based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), people (with their knowledge, habits, experiences, culture and behaviour) remain at the heart of concerns. In this chapter we are interested in the centrality of citizens (i.e. in the heart of the city) and of ICT in their environment. This leads us to take into account the tacit knowledge brought by citizens and the knowledge that may be divulged through ICT. We then present the concept of the Information and Knowledge System (IKS), and then we explain how it differs from that of the Digital Information System (DIS). We also point to the role of ICT in the DIS, and to their impact on improving the smartness of cities.

Software Engineering is the fundamental methodology used in the process of developing the software. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is the backbone of software engineering. SDLC is emerging in several forms to support software development at different phases. SDLC plays as a role of guide for engineers that are involved from traditional desktop application development to much trending development. The new emerging technologies accelerate the process of software engineering, resulting in saving time and resources and enhance the quality of software systems. This paper focuses on technologies used to accelerate the process of software engineering in solving problems associated with its phases. The first section of this paper contains an introduction to Software Engineering (SE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The next section describes the aspects of emerging technologies in software engineering. After this, the role of AI in SE is discussed followed by a conclusion in the last section.
