Students perception of the nursing assistant course forward to training and professional practice

ABSTRACTObjective: to verify the student's perception of the Nursing Assistant Course of the Project Worker Professionalization Area Nursing/Profae on their training and professional performance in the job market. Methodology: this is an exploratory study from quantitative and qualitative approaches. The instrument used was a semi-structured interview applied to 29 students graduating from the Centro Formador de Recursos Humanos of the Paraíba State Secretary of Health in João Pessoa city. Results: in the analysis of the data it was verified that most of the students are:  young, single, female that had access only to public school and completed the middle education. Regarding the perception of students about the course, most found the teaching methodology (65.5%) satisfactory, the syllabus of the subjects (79.3%) enough, the assessment tools (72.5%) suitable for learning, workload and training field (48.3%) sufficient for the development of the course. Regarding the expectation to act in the job market, students are confident, they consider themselves competent and qualified, despite the competition and highlight the essential professional qualities: humanization, ethics, respect and dedication. Conclusion: the process of training of Nursing Assistants promoted by Profae represents an advance in the health system, a support policies for professional education in health, bringing benefits to all and especially to users of SUS. Metodologia: pesquisa exploratória de cunho quantitativo e qualitativo. O instrumento utilizado foi uma entrevista semi-estruturada aplicado a 29 alunos concluintes do Centro Formador de Recursos Humanos da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Paraíba, em João Pessoa. Resultados: verificou-se que os alunos em sua maioria são: Jovens, solteiros, sexo feminino, ensino médio completo e formação exclusivamente em escolas públicas. Quanto à percepção do aluno sobre o Curso, a maioria considerou a metodologia de ensino (65,5%) satisfatória, o conteúdo programático das disciplinas (79,3%) suficiente, os instrumentos de avaliação (72,5%) adequados para o aprendizado, carga horária e campo de estágio (48,3%) suficiente para o desenvolvimento do Curso. Em relação à atuação profissional, consideram-se competentes e habilitados, apesar da concorrência e, destacam qualidades essenciais ao profissional: humanização, ética, respeito e dedicação. Conclusões: o processo de formação dos auxiliares de enfermagem promovido pelo Profae representa um avanço no sistema de saúde, uma sustentação as políticas de educação profissional em saúde, trazendo benefícios a todos e, em especial aos usuários do Sistema Único de Saúde. Metodología: investigación explotación de abordaje cuantitativo y cualitativo. El instrumento utilizado fue una entrevista semi-estructurada aplicado a 29 estudiantes que se gradúan  el Centro Formador de Recursos Humanos da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Paraíba en Joao Pessoa. Resultado: al analizar los datos, se constató que los estudiantes son en su mayoría: la escuela joven, solteros, mujeres, y formación de alta exclusivamente en las escuelas públicas. En cuanto a la percepción de los estudiantes sobre el curso, la mayoría consideró que la metodología de enseñanza (65,5%) satisfactorio, el contenido de programa de los disciplina (79,3%) lo suficiente, los instrumentos de evaluación (72,5%) adecuado para aprendizaje, carga horario y campo de práctica (48,3%) suficiente para el desarrollo del curso. En cuanto a la expectativa para actuar en el mercado laboral, los estudiantes están confiados, se consideran competentes y calificados, a pesar de la competencia y destacar las cualidades profesionales esenciales: la humanización, la ética, el respeto y dedicación. Conclusión: el proceso de formación de Auxiliares de Enfermería promovido por Profae representa un gran avance en el sistema de salud, políticas de apoyo a una educación profesional en salud, aportando beneficios a todos y especialmente a los usuarios del SUS. Статтю присвячено проблемам професійного навчання соціальних працівників, зокрема розглянуто психолого-педагогічні аспекти процесу підготовки висококваліфікованих фахівців. Зазначено що в професійній психології та педагогіці набуває поширення компетентнісний підхід до сучасної освіти. Акцентовано увагу на особистісно-орієнтованому та психолого-акмеологічному напрямках професійної освіти та навчання. Особистісні якості фахівця розглядаються як метапрофесійні компетенції, що забезпечують якість праці майбутнього соціального працівника. На основі аналізу специфіки підготовки фахівців соціономічних професій окреслено загальні напрями формування професійних компетенцій соціальних працівників: пріоритет професійно-особистісного розвитку для досягнення високого рівня професіоналізму фахівця; формування психологічної, особистісної та рефлексивної компетентності; практична зорієнтованість процесу навчання. Розглянуто методи та технології активного формування психологічної та особистісної компетентності фахівця в процесі професійного навчання, а саме методика контекстного (знаково-контекстного) навчання та психолого-акмеологічні методи та процедури професійного розвитку. Стверджується, що включення до навчального процесу інноваційних, заснованих на взаємодії педагога та учня, психолого-педагогічних технологій активного навчання має формувати особистісні зони розвитку майбутніх фахівців, удосконалювати способи та засоби професійного становлення, що значно підвищує якість професійного навчання соціальних працівників. The article deals with the problems of vocational training of social workers. They are particularly considered with psychological and pedagogical aspects of training highly qualified specialists. It specifies that competence-based approach to modern education gets spreading in the professional psychology and pedagogy. The article is accented on personality-oriented and psycho-akmeological directions existing in the psychology of professional education and training. Personal qualities of the professional are considered as metaprofessional competences which ensure the future social worker’s quality of work. The general directions of formation professional competence of social workers are identified on the base of the analyses of the specific professional training socionomic professions: priority of vocational and personality development for achievement a high level of professionalism; formation of the psychological, personal and reflective competence; practical orientation of the learning process. The methods and technologies of active formation of psychological and personality’s competence of the specialist during the vocational training are reviewed in the article, specifically the method and technique of signed-contextual learning and psycho-akmeological methods and procedures of professional development. It is alleged that the inclusion in the educational process of preparation innovational, psychological and pedagogical techniques of active learning, based on the interaction between the teacher and the student, should generated personal’s development zones of the future professionals, refine the methods and means of the professional development that significantly improves the quality of social worker’s professional training.

El estudio se propone determinar los factores que condicionan la productividad científica y la relación con la formación académica de los docentes de la carrera de Ciencias de la Información de la Facultad Politécnica de la Universidad Nacional de Asunción, entre los años 2009-2013. El mismo parte de la implementación de un sistema de cuestionarios anonimos, encaminados a la obtención de información y de indicadores sobre las potencialidades de cada país en investigación y docencia. El sistema consta de cuestionarios de tres tipos: cuestionario institucional, cuestionario de recursos humanos y el cuestionario de proyectos de investigación. Las variables en estudio fueron: investigadores, docentes, proyectos de investigación, producción científica, funciones, investigación, indicadores bibliométricos de producción y comunicación científica. Los resultados revelaron que: que en su mayoría el plantel docente de grado son docentes paraguayos (81%), y la baja productividad, se ve directamente relacionada con este segmento de la población. Esta situación coincide en general con el modelo de universidad que predomina en Paraguay, que es la “transmisora de conocimiento”, en lugar de la “generadora del mismo”. To contain the COVID-19 pandemic, governments all over the world implemented strong lockdown measures to a large part of the population, including the closing of educational centres. Teachers were urged to transform their teaching methodology, moving from a face-to-face model to an emergency remote education (ERE) model, characterised by the use of technologies to continue with lectures and maintain the physical distance with the students. The aim of the present study was to analyse the existence of socio-digital inequalities and the educational challenges posed by the development of an ERE model, hence, contributing to the literature by proposing a systematic and holistic approach on this phenomenon. Based on the characteristics of the research problem and the objectives set, a qualitative methodology was applied. On the one hand, a semi-structured interview was conducted with 136 active teachers as the main data gathering technique. On the other hand, grounded theory was key in interpreting the results, with the aim of generating the theory in a systematic and holistic manner. It can be asserted that ERE was very useful during the lockdown of schools, and its potential to transform education was demonstrated. However, it was also shown that the development of an ERE model can cause socio-digital inequalities among students, due to the lack of access to digital devices and Internet connection, mainly due to factors, such as the socio-educational level of the family and the rural or urban context of the centre.

Se estima que la supervivencia se ha duplicado en los últimos 40 años y es probable que continúe aumentando en los próximos años 5. Este incremento es un indicador clave de la efectividad de la atención al cáncer en el sistema de salud español, especialmente para algunos cánceres. Sin embargo, los supervivientes pueden experimentar secuelas y efectos secundarios tardíos derivados de los tratamientos y del propio cáncer que en muchos casos impactan en su calidad de vida.Pero ¿cuál es la situación respecto a las políticas sanitarias en España para el abordaje de la supervivencia de cáncer? Para dar respuesta a esta pregunta, el grupo de trabajo de la SEEO “Supervivientes de cáncer”, formado por enfermeras de distintas comunidades autónomas y con distintos perfiles (especialistas en oncología, investigadoras, docentes y gestoras), llevó a cabo una revisión de los planes y programas de salud publicados por las comunidades autónomas de España para identificar las iniciativas descritas para la coordinación y seguimiento de los largos supervivientes de cáncer. Desde nuestro objetivo como enfermeras y con la visión de los cuidados integrales tanto a la persona superviviente como a la familia, no podemos dejar de señalar la necesidad de establecer un modelo de atención a la supervivencia de cáncer que vaya más allá de la efectividad de los tratamientos y donde se recoja la coordinación de los cuidados y necesidades de los supervivientes, tanto en el ámbito de la salud física y emocional como en el ámbito social, y dotar dicha atención de recursos humanos adecuados para llevarlos adelante.

RESUMO Objetivo: descrever a percepção das mulheres acometidas por Papiloma Vírus Humano (HPV), em relação à sua situação de saúde e aos tipos de práticas para o autocuidado, baseando-se na Teoria do Autocuidado de Orem. Método: trata-se de um estudo descritivo, qualitativo, realizado com 12 mulheres diagnosticadas com HPV, em duas Unidades Básicas de Saúde, no período de setembro a outubro de 2017. Coletaram-se os dados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada contendo as questões norteadoras, e um questionário para fazer a caracterização dessa mulher em relação à faixa etária, ao estado civil e ao nível de escolaridade. Empregou-se o método de Análise de Dados de Strauss e Corbin, para apresentar os resultados. Resultados: levantou-se que a maioria é jovem, solteira e possui Ensino Fundamental. Emergiram-se duas categorias: 1 - Mulher diagnosticada com HPV: conhecimento sobre a patologia e os sentimentos negativos vivenciados após a descoberta; 2 - O HPV e o autocuidado da mulher. Identificaram-se o desconhecimento sobre a patologia e o uso do preservativo como única forma de prevenção. Conclusão: verificaram-se fatores condicionantes para os requisitos de autocuidado por desvio de saúde, tendo o sistema de apoio-educação como conduta para fortalecer a relação entre o enfermeiro e a mulher. Conclusion: there were conditioning factors for the requirements of self-care due to health diversion, with the support-education system as a conduit to strengthen the relationship between nurses and women. Objetivo. Analizar el alcance de los subsidios a la demanda mediante la compra estratégica de servicios de salud. Material y métodos. Entrevistas y revisión documental a nivel federal y estudio de caso en el estado de Hidalgo. Resultados. El Sistema de Protección Social en Salud (SPSS) prioriza las intervenciones por financiar de manera explícita y norma tabuladores y topes de gasto. Se financia predominantemente a prestadores públicos mediante la compra de insumos y la contratación de recursos humanos, sin competencia y con bajo grado de autonomía de gestión. El Seguro Popular en Hidalgo ha diversificado prestadores de servicios y mecanismos de pago. Conclusiones. El SPSS tiene amplia oportunidad para ampliar y profundizar la compra estratégica. Se requiere mayor autonomía de prestadores y pagadores así como reglamentación para promover redes de servicios en entornos competitivos.

Very often youth faces many difficulties when trying to enter the labour market. It is because of lack of experience, insufficient vocational education, inadequacy between professional education and requirements for specialists in the job market. It is necessary that students get competencies and skills needed for the labour market and increase their employment possibilities. Rezekne Academy of Technologies implemented a project, where one of the objectives was integration of problem-based learning (PBL) into study processes. The aim of the research study is to investigate problem-based learning experiences among students and lecturers. Research methods – the monographic method, the analysis and survey methods. Problem-based learning is much more exciting for students and faculty than traditional learning, but it is also more time consuming and expertise intensive.

The formation of professional competences of modern economists requires from the educational institution, from the teachers fundamentally new approaches in professional education: the integration of pedagogical, economic and entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and abilities. The aim of the study is to analyze modern approaches to the formulation of the concept of »competence«, to find out the components of professional competence for the preparation of future economists. General scientific methods of research have been applied: induction and deduction, refinement and classification. The modern approaches to the formulation of the concept of »competence« have been analyzed in the article. Historical and terminological analysis of its essence made it possible to find out the components, the structure of professional competence. Special attention has been paid to the content of key and substantive competence. The formation of professional competence of economists must be carried out taking into account the modern requirements in the field of education, educational programs of the specialty. Thus, a highly skilled economist one can become due to a high motivational indicator, confidence in the correct selection of the future kind of activity, the desire to acquire as much information professional material and its transformation into knowledge, which will lead to professionalism in the process of the vocational practice. In the subsequent research, we will substantiate the process of forming the competitiveness of future economists.

Comprehensive analysis of scientific studies of national and foreign scientists showed that the problem of the teachers’ professional development improvement has been represented in theoretical and practical philosophical, psychological and pedagogical science. The analysis of development of the postgraduate education tendencies, life-long professional education of adult learners, long-term scientific and pedagogical experience have revealed the relevance of research in the improving of the teachers professional development. This research has been appropriated by the increased requirements for postgraduate education and traditional approaches to the development of the teachers’ professional competences and by the necessity to cope with the existing stereotypes, changing attitudes and approaches to the teachers’ professional growth.The aim of the research is to identify the spheres of improvement for the professional development of teachers in the system of postgraduate education.The interpretation of the teachers’ professional development has been defined as an increase of their professional competence in the result of practical experience and prolonged purposeful and coordinated self-education in the conditions of formal, non-formal and informal adult education.The main directions of improvement of Ukrainian teachers’ professional development in our in-service teacher training include: 1) systematic implementation of educational innovation in postgraduate education content; 2) development of the blended forms of teacher training for providing educational possibilities for various special optional courses, trainings and seminars on full-time training conferences, consultations, participation in online conferences, electronic forums, chats on the distance remote basis; 3) creation of a system of the various modular courses and teacher trainings, which provides a clear definition, diagnosis and monitoring of professional competence components, based on a modular educational technology and which is one of the modern innovations in adult education; 4) development of partnership subject-subject interaction in in-service training, where the participants of training activities are oriented to the professional development, personal and professional growth.The results of studies have stated that a comprehensive personal training for teachers should be oriented to the development of their willingness to increase the effectiveness of the professional activities. In the further researches we consider the necessity of studying and generalization of international and national databases on the teachers’ continuous professional development.

In the article actuality of research of questions of reformation is certain in the system of higher education, including from the point of view of improvement of modern principles of teaching of graphic disciplines creation of that assists forming of professional graphic competence students of architectural specialties. The forward process of improvement of educational activity produces new requirements to educating, in particular to his quality constituent, in this connection there is a necessity of development of mechanisms of the permanent monitoring of progress. The European model of education on the nearest future plugs in itself one of directions beginning such type of educating, that is characterized the considerable volume of independent work and active bringing in of students of creative specialties to the real projects, already from the first course, that it is impossible without steady skills individual graphic competence. In the last few years the circle of tasks that can be decided by graphic methods broadened, from meaningfulness of graphic disciplines that mortgage bases of the spatial thinking is accordingly enhance able therefore. The aim of our study is to analyze and summarize the results of experiments on the effect of quality of graphic competence of students which contributes to the effectiveness of their professional development. Long-term practice of teaching and exchange of experience in the methodology of graphic disciplines has shown that the formation of professional competence is impossible without a thorough study of the foundations of graphic literacy, whose essence lies in the study of the discipline Descriptive Geometry. Graphic education is a process, which leads to student’s gaining knowledge and skills of work with graphical information. The development of the ability to correctly perceive, create, store and transmit different graphical information about objects, processes and phenomena is the task of graphic training of professional education. Professional knowledge is objective necessary knowledge and abilities that is highly sought by future practical activity.
