ABSTRACTObjective: to describe the emotional consequences related to venipuncture in hospitalized children. Methods: this is an upgrade study, literature review, from a qualitative approach. We conducted a literature search in the databases MEDLINE, LILACS and BDENF from March to May 2009. The data were categorized according to the objectives proposed by the reference of thematic analysis. Results: the feelings generated in hospitalized children underwent venipuncture were fear and anxiety. These feelings are that these children will react aggressively and may jeopardize the process of growth and development. The emotional consequences related to venipuncture in hospitalized children can be prevented or minimized from a nurse's role with commitment and ethics, confirming thus the importance of clinical assessment in care delivery. Conclusion: venipuncture in pediatrics, although the focus of many studies of nursing continues to occupy a prominent place in the concern of these professionals, in constant search in the promotion of care based on child development. The aim was to analyze well child nursing care (WCC) and to distinguish if the care is procedure or user centered. The concepts of the nursing work process and the micro-politics of health work supported this qualitative study. Systematic direct observation of 87 WCC consultations was accomplished at one Family Medicine Unit and semistructured interviews were held with 25 mothers who attended WCC consultations with their child. Data saturation and understanding of the meaning were the criteria used to determine the number of observations and interviews. Thematic analysis was applied. The activity was focused on procedures, which cannot be considered WHCC. The mothers value comprehensive care and request information on the growth and development of their children. Educative topic should be addressed and trust relations should be established with a view to user-centered care delivery.

This narrative-descriptive review is about the safety/protection of hospitalized children who, due to their fragility, vulnerability and peculiar growth and development conditions need special attention from health professionals. This study aimed to identify knowledge production on safety, protection and violence to hospitalized children between 1997 and 2007. In total, 15 national and international articles were analyzed, using the key words: hospitalized child, safety, violence and nursing. This qualitative approach enabled the development of four categories: adverse occurrences; medication errors; notification of adverse occurrences; and safety of pediatric patients. Results indicate the need to develop strategies to reduce the probability of these events occurring during children's hospitalization, so that they do not suffer any problem neither violation of their fundamental rights.

Technology is sometimes seen as a disruption that although provides opportunities for growth and development, also provides opportunities for deception, theft, and fraud. On the other hand, automation can make it easier to identify and protect from threats. Hence, a proposal was made by the European Commission to enact a digital operations resilience act. Therefore, our objective in this paper is to lay out the perceived characteristics of effective regulation by using DORA as our case study. We do this by carrying out a literature review and extracting using the thematic analysis approach propositions for these characteristics. Then, we test these using exploratory factor analysis and design a model for perceived effective regulation (PERM). We test the reliability and validity of this model by using the Cronbach alpha. Results show that according to our model, an effective regulation should have four characteristics, specifically “Flexibility and Integration”, “Proportionality and Cost”, “Reliability and Transparency”, and “Relevance and Timeliness”. Findings laid out in this paper and PERM can be used to test other proposed regulations to ensure that they are effective before being enacted and also to determine when there is a need for a revamp in specified areas of current regulations and requirements.

ABSTRACTDuring this Coronavirus disease-19 (Covid -19) Pandemic, the challenges for appropriate and safe delivery nursing care is becoming main concerns since cancer patients are at high risk to be infected. Oncology nurse must reassure that the patients still get the optimal treatment while in other part they have to keep their patients safe. However, the change of provision of care in order to protect cancer patients must pay more attention. The aim of this paper was to review the literature on both the impact of Covid 19 to the provision of cancer care and nursing workforce. The implications of these findings for cancer patients will also be discussed. The electronic Science direct, Googlescholar and Pubmed databases were used to identify relevant articles. A combination of keywords: cancer, care, Corona virus 19, Covid-19 and Pandemic were used to identify relevant articles. Ten articles were included in the review. The broad issues were the impact of Covid 19 on nursing delivery care and the impact to the workforce. In terms of cancer care delivery, the Oncology teams are adopting new ways to minimise the risk of Covid 19 to the patients and their staff while at the similar times they have to reassure that the patients get the optimum care. Triage patients, adjusting treatment and limitation of visitor’s access to the patients is kind of changes that could do. A serious shortage and the availability of personal protective equipment are the major concern in nursing workforce changes during this pandemic. Planning or resuming cancer treatment and screening to mitigate the risk is the most important way to get the best outcomes. Hence, nurse has been pushed to adapt quickly and give their optimum nursing care to  patients as well as protect themselves from cross infectionABSTRAKSelama masa pandemi Coronavirus 19, tantangan terhadap pemberian asuhan keperawatan pada pasien kanker menjadi perhatian utama.
