Sustainability has emerged as the most current and striking concepts of the 2000’s. Every field, every subject, and every thought generated its sustainable counter  part, and sustainability has come to symbolize the future. In fact, when sustainability researchers study design, they usually consider the sustainability of design. On the other hand, since it is of the essence of design, as in the essence of creativity, to conceive an original idea, to make new syntheses and to express them as an out of the ordinary image with seeable, tangible, olfactible, audible, and tasteable indicators, it is essential that the basic features of design should include knowledge about the future projections of design in the context of sustainability of design. Accordingly, it becomes a requisite to bring together all the information that is necessary to protect and sustain environments, habitats and nature that support life and evaluate it in shaping the future of product design and teach it as accumulated knowledge. Keywords: sustainable design, creativity, practices in education.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are important catalysts of economic growth, creating employment opportunities and contributing to the gross domestic product (GDP) of their respective countries. Unfortunately, SMEs suffer from a high failure rate due to SME managers’ lack of managerial knowledge and skills. SME managers also do not use performance measures which are important in business management and provide support to the managers in decision-making processes. This study contributes to the existing knowledge by determining that the use of a performance measurement tool is important in SMEs, as it can help to improve their performance and chances of survival. Accountants have the knowledge and skills to help SMEs to measure their performance and to achieve their business objectives. Accountants calculate financial ratios, explain the results and provide advice to SMEs. They, however, do not develop a Balanced Scorecard, although they perceive it to be beneficial to the SMEs.

The traditional forestry education schemes are no longer sufficient to train professional foresters to manage the forest resources in a changing world. Even in forest-rich nations such as Malaysia, the challenges faced by forestry education are growing. The declining student enrolment and interests in the field must be stopped, if the field is to remain viable. The roles played by the forest have shifted from purely commercial products exploitation to environmental and social centric. In this context, forestry education will need to be restructured to impart the necessary knowledge and skills to the foresters to enable them to perform up to expectation in the field.

The article analyzes the local version of veneration of St. Stephen of Perm among the Nivshera’s Komi. The microlocal folklore tradition of the village Nischera (Komi Republic) is geographically far from the place of residence of the first bishop of Perm and the main area (Lower Vychegda and Vym) of the spread of traditions about a religious saint, who was called the “Zyryansky Apostle”. Meanwhile, the chapel (now lost) in honor of the saint and the saved life icon in the small village Rusanovskaya helped preserve the memory of a religious figure in popular culture. The post-temple life of the icon is amazing: relatives of the shrines who saved from death made a vow to hold home services. According to the established model in the Nivshera tradition off-temple services began to be held also before the reproduction of the icon Stefan Perm. The work attempted to compare scenarios and strategies for conducting home worship in two places. To some extent, the future of such practices will depend not only on the capabilities of the guardians of the icon and the presence of successors of this matter, but also on the socio-cultural situation of the village and interaction with the Orthodox Church. To some extent, the future of such practices will depend not only on the capabilities of the guardians of the icon and the presence of successors of this matter, but also on the socio-cultural situation of the village and interaction with the Orthodox Church. The cult veneration of Stefan Perm in the Nivshera folklore tradition is evidenced by recorded oral stories about a saint who visited the Vishera District, climbing a boat along the river, expelled rats for a long time, saved the village from fire, and provides general patronage to the village Rusanovskaya.

Products Woven or ketak is a handicraft product produced by the ‘artisans’ community in the village of Karang Bayan West Lombok with raw materials from plants ketak. In the process it takes the necessary skills to weave and combine woven ketak with other natural products such as wood, pottery, coconut shell or bone. The marketing of wicker web products has penetrated the export market, especially the Japanese market. Problems experienced by industrial partners or the artisan’s community is the transfer of design from businessmen to crafters (door to door), drying process during the rainy season and business management. Designs are sometimes made by the buyer and sent to the entrepreneur via email. The solving problem that is faced by the producents is the important thing to be done, by approaching the centralized design transfer training (in one place that is done in the partner house).  The next one, making a mechanical dryer with two heat sources located beside left and lower right and LPG-fueled (clean, practical, economical and environmentally friendly). Next step, by providing business management assistance (finance and marketing).
