The main area of this work reflects a topic for which there is little or limited reference available and is carried out to meet the needs of professional and practical floating dry dock operators. The risk of hazards in floating dry docks is evaluated using a discrete fuzzy set theory (FST) and an evidential reasoning (ER) approach in a situation where historical failure data is not available. Fuzzy set modelling is used to estimate the safety levels of the causes of basic failure events in floating dry docks due to stability concerns using the concept of linguistic variables, and provides a framework for dealing with such variables in a systematic way. The ER approach is used to synthesise the estimated safety levels of the causes of hazards/basic hazard events. The results of this work will be valuable to dry dock masters and sister maritime engineering professionals.

In 17 of 21 Smolensk’ 12-13 century buildings there were found floor remains with different state of preservation. Some were found quite intact in significant area in situ, and other are represented with single findings of glazed tiles. Neither smalt, nor slate slabs were used in that buildings. In two churches there were found sandstone slabs, imitating the slate. In another two churches was mainly used lime mortar grouting. The most widespread materials for the decoration of the floors were the plinth and the glazed tiles. The plinth was mostly used for decorating of the main area of the buildings, for example, in naos and galleries. The glazed tiles more often were found in the separated compartments: choirs, apses and in some special parts of galleries. There is no great variety of shapes and dimensions of ceramic tiles of that time. The square and triangle ones prevail. Their side dimension is normally 11-12 sm, the thickness is 1,8 – 2,8 sm. This proportion remains unchanged, unlike plinth size, which during 12 century becomes smaller and smaller. And also some figured tiles were found in Smolensk’ buildings of that time.

Nowadays, on the territory of large cities, there is an increase in emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere. The reasons for this are manifold: violation of design technological regimes, outdated equipment, an increase in the volume of road transport. The constantly growing intensity of traffic flows is annually accompanied by an increase in the anthropogenic load on the population of modern cities. With the increase in the number of vehicles on the streets of large cities, the world community has identified noise as one of the main factors that worsen the standard of living of people. To assess the noise pollution of the environment by road transport, a typical area of the urban area in the Kharkiv micro district was chosen. The study consisted of four main stages: Stage I – assessment of the road condition and environmental situation in the courtyards of the micro district; Stage II – assessment of acoustic pollution of the main area; Stage III – assessment of the concentration of pollutants; Stage IV – measures to reduce the level of environmental hazard. The study revealed that residential areas around Gagarin Avenue are prone to high noise levels and high concentrations of pollutants in the air. So, Gagarin Avenue is in the zone of acoustic discomfort (noise level 80 dBA), which exceeds the permissible noise level, while the degree of man-made impact on the environment during road operation is 1000 UAH / hour for every 100 people. Based on the results of calculations of the concentrations of pollutants from vehicles along Gagarin Avenue, it was found that for almost all substances their concentrations exceed the MPC by more than 3 times. Analysis of the experience of European countries in the use of noise protection screens with integrated solar panels allowed us to propose a model of noise protection barrier with integrated solar panels, which can be used to protect the urban environment from noise, sound waves and exhaust chemicals. gases from internal combustion engines. It has been established that the placement of a combined noise protection screen will reduce the noise level by about 8–15 dBA. Noise load maps were built in the main area before and after the implementation of the environmental measure. The results of the study will make it possible to introduce administrative and legislative measures to ensure regulatory noise levels for residential areas adjacent to highways and environmental safety when organizing traffic on the streets of large cities.

Agriculture support funds is one of the variants for supporting agricultural producers, incl. budgetary functioning, worldwide. The main sources of formation and activities of agriculture support funds (in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Armenia) were analyzed. The research is based on the official information materials for establishment and functioning of such funds (regulatory legal acts, articles of association, corporate documents, financial statements, etc.). The following conclusions were made as the result of the analysis: agriculture support funds may include own capital and attracted resources, investors' facilities and funds of international financial institutions. The main area of activity of agriculture support funds is financing agricultural producers on various bases - lending and microcredit, investments, subsidies, leasing programs. It is possible to distinguish three options for the financial resources movement through agricultural support funds, depending on the role assigned to the fund in this mechanism – source of financial resources, the State agent or investor.

Abstract Aim Assess compliance with departmental and BSSH guidelines for hand trauma. Optimise operative capacity within the department. Promote minor ops experience among the junior doctors. Method Retrospective review of the overbooked patients seen in the Hand trauma Unit (HTU) in August 2020 using the eTrauma system and time to operation using the Lorenzo patient record system. Results Overall Local Compliance rates Overall BSSH Compliance rates Main area of non-compliance was waiting time for tendon operations, with a 30% breech rate (>5 days waiting time). Conclusions Interventions before re-audit: On call junior doctor to be based in HTU for the whole day- will allow for minor procedures (nail beds and skin lacerations) to be done at bedside. The above will free up capacity in the minor ops theatre for tendons.

The article analyzes the local version of veneration of St. Stephen of Perm among the Nivshera’s Komi. The microlocal folklore tradition of the village Nischera (Komi Republic) is geographically far from the place of residence of the first bishop of Perm and the main area (Lower Vychegda and Vym) of the spread of traditions about a religious saint, who was called the “Zyryansky Apostle”. Meanwhile, the chapel (now lost) in honor of the saint and the saved life icon in the small village Rusanovskaya helped preserve the memory of a religious figure in popular culture. The post-temple life of the icon is amazing: relatives of the shrines who saved from death made a vow to hold home services. According to the established model in the Nivshera tradition off-temple services began to be held also before the reproduction of the icon Stefan Perm. The work attempted to compare scenarios and strategies for conducting home worship in two places. To some extent, the future of such practices will depend not only on the capabilities of the guardians of the icon and the presence of successors of this matter, but also on the socio-cultural situation of the village and interaction with the Orthodox Church. To some extent, the future of such practices will depend not only on the capabilities of the guardians of the icon and the presence of successors of this matter, but also on the socio-cultural situation of the village and interaction with the Orthodox Church. The cult veneration of Stefan Perm in the Nivshera folklore tradition is evidenced by recorded oral stories about a saint who visited the Vishera District, climbing a boat along the river, expelled rats for a long time, saved the village from fire, and provides general patronage to the village Rusanovskaya.

The main area of coal application is energy production. During such stages as min-ing, transporting, treatment, storing and processingof coal, a large number of small products are formed, such as screenings, spills, sludges, etc. Such products are not usedand significantly pollute the environment. Meanwhile, after agglomeration, they can eas-ily be used for the production of thermalenergy. Of all the known agglomeration meth-ods, briquetting is most suitable. The technology of obtaining flammable briquettesbased on coal is developed. A technology has also been developed to produce fuel bri-quettes from coal slurries and paper waste. The use of coal slurries and paper waste as binder materials makes it possible to obtain a fuel pellet that is simple in production andcomposition and at the same time allows to utilize coal and paper wastes. The technolo-gy of obtaining fuel extrudates (briquettes)from wood and shale wastes, as well as wood, shale waste and sludge was developed. Thus, technologies have been developed toproduce fuel briquettes from various types of low-demand carbon-containing materi-als for domestic use.
