The Cooperative approach or Cooperative learning approach is defined as a model of group learning in which students are assigned to cooperate in teams for gaining a common purpose whereas they have to show their independence in completing sectional tasks. This learning style, to some extent, has been used in Reading classes at Thu Dau Mot University along with other methods for boosting students’ working motivation. From the mentioned premise, the paper investigated English-majored students’ favorable activities in Reading classrooms to clarify student’s learning motives as well as their willingness to work in group during the lessons. A survey questionnaire on selective activities was sent to the fourth–year English majors to measure the respondents’ attitudes. Accordingly, the paper focuses on the following aspects: (1) students’ attitudes towards reading skills, (2) their preferred classroom activities, and (3) their expected achievements from the course. Consequently, it is found out that there was a kind of intrinsic motivation among learners in the course, the students are interested in self-conducted activities, and that cooperative learning activities might foster students’ love for reading.

This chapter maps the types of interactions that relate to the use of virtual worlds in hybrid virtual learning scenarios. Students were asked to state their opinions regarding their experiences and were also observed along the way. The results highlight that the learning activities and students' attitudes and experiences greatly affect learner engagement. It is vital, though, that instructional designers plan the learning activities thoughtfully and provide learners with enough time and support. Offering content with examples of the expectations of the teaching team can be invaluably helpful. Furthermore, a game-like content can be considered a great source of motivation. Moreover, the vividness of the virtual world makes the learning process more stimulating and less tedious. Additionally, avatars enable users to interact with the content and increase the opportunities for interactions with others. Nevertheless, learners' simultaneous co-presence in the physical classroom is a more immediate and preferred option, since it offers increased opportunities for collaboration.

One of the topics of discussion among teachers, especially in the Office Administration Expertise Program of SMK Negeri 1 Magetan is the problem of managing learning by grouping students who sometimes experience obstacles and do not carry out as expected. This resulted in the results of group work becoming less than optimal and only a small percentage of students understood the group assignment material. As a result, when there is a test, there are still many students who get less grades from KKM or have not yet finished learning and classical learning completeness has not been achieved. This research is planned in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results of the study were obtained (1) The application of STAD model cooperative learning can improve learning completeness to ensure the need for documents in class XII APk-1 SMK 1 Magetan in the academic year 2010/2011, (2) Application of STAD model cooperative learning can improve group learning activities in ensuring the need for documents in class XII APk-1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Magetan in the academic year 2010/2011, and (3) the application of STAD model cooperative learning is fun and can encourage students of class XII APK-1 at SMK Negeri 1 Magetan in the 2010 school year / 2011 to diligently study on basic competencies Ensuring the Need for Documents.

The student involvement of class X.4 of SMAN 2 Dumai in the learning mathematics is very low. Students rarely want to be involved and actively participate in efforts to develop their knowledge and skills. Learning activities are still centered on the teacher (teacher’s centered) because the teacher is still dominant using the lecture method so that the teacher is more active than the student which causes the learning process to become rigid, less support the development of students' attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The low students’mathematics learning activities are also caused by the low level of student understanding of the subject matter concept. Therefore, this study aims to improve students' mathematics learning activities through the implementation of Cooperative Learning type Team Games Tournament (TGT). This study was a classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Data collection is done by filling out the observation sheets conducted by peers during the learning process. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that the students’ mathematics learning activities in class X.4 of SMAN 2 Dumai have increased from an average of 76.46% (good) in the first cycle to 94.14% (very good) in the second cycle.
