This article presents the authors personal views on the role, the place and the forms of lecture teaching of the morphological disciplines at the medical universities. Historical analysis shows that lecture has traditionally been the leading form of a university education. At the same time, the increasing requirements for the quality and efficiency of the modern educational process, the intensive intercalation of computer technologies in education and medicine raise the question of the preferred methods of conducting this type of classes. In addition, the difficult epidemiological situation, that is observed today around the world, has made its own adjustments to this discussion. The article provides a comparative overview of the various forms of presentation of lecture material (face-to-face lectures, online lectures in synchronous and asynchronous versions), and details the advantages and the disadvantages of each of them. Evaluating the positive and the negative aspects of the remote lectures, we can say that this format is not perfect for studying at a medical university. Moreover, it is not suitable for giving lectures on human anatomy because their demonstrativeness suffers. A lecture is a parade of a department, noticed the academician of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences V.N. Shevkunenko. It can give an ability for a creativity, a lifeline in the process of a powerful flow of information to a student, select the most useful and necessary things, promote the development of а professional competence, help to find guidelines, life values and meanings. All this can be fully implemented only with live communication in а lecture audience, which is the secret of the longevity of a lecture.

The peculiarities of preparation and performance of two kinds of binary lectures which are a binary lecture- dispute and an interdisciplinary binary lecture are in detail described in this paper. They diff er in their essence, aim, tasks, means of preparation, the choice of lecturer- partner, the format of the material. The aim of the binary lecture- dispute is to organize a controversy on a problematic issue between two lecturers. The more lively the discussion, the more interesting it is for the students, and the easier it is to involve them into the discussion. The form of presenting the material is a powerful motivational stimulus. The professional competence of lecturers can be diff erent, their communication, expressiveness and acting skills are more important. Mostly they are teachers of one department. There is no necessity to distribute lecture material and time between lecturers. It also does not require rehearsals without students. Such a lecture is more interesting for them. The aim of the interdisciplinary binary lecture is to show the interdisciplinary continuity, when the basic data of one discipline are necessary for mastering of another one. It does not involve any dispute and is presented as a consistent monologue of two lecturers. It is not possible to involve the students, because previously acquired knowledge is forgotten, and the knowledge provided – is still unknown to them. Motivation for students is only the relevance of the theme and lecture skills. The lectures are always delivered by tutors of diff erent disciplines. Their intellectual and psychological compatibility and the same level of professionalism are also very important. The volume of lecture material is always increasing. It requires rehearsals without students. It is more di ffi cult for teachers in its preparation and implementation.

To get the instructors ready for implementation of these technologies, the event-based approach was introduced in educational process at levels of postgraduate education and continuing pedagogical training of university staff. The cooperation of students and instructors in the process of “living” in an educational event, as well as reflection, are considered as the means and goals of event education. The analysis of the trainees’ satisfaction showed that the event approach met the educational needs of attendees (students, graduate students and teachers). It also made the educational process personally and professionally significant. The article describes the diagnostic and correctional possibilities of using simulation role play with University students. It should be noted, that simulation and a role play allows to immerse students in active controlled communication, where they can express themselves, learn about their hidden capabilities, and develop their skills necessary for more productive functioning as a group or individually. Such play should contain elements of modeling, construction, and transformation. Today, simulation role play offers great opportunities to work with any categories of students, and have a great practical use, as it provides an opportunity to master both verbal and non-verbal forms of communication in various situations, clearly demonstrating the ways and possibilities to apply in practice the knowledge gained. The study showed that the use of simulation role play in the educational process helps to increase significantly the communicative competence of students. Thanks to a 4 months’ simulation role play with students during their studies at the University, they have significantly increased their communication competence, formed new communication skills and communication behavior strategies, and decreased the indicators of "communicative clumsiness". The results suggest that simulation role play as a type of socio-psychological training can be actively used in teaching practice at the University for the development of students ' communication skills, as it involves dialogue, relying on life experience and feelings of younger generation. This is a form of specially organized communication, which may become necessary in the increasing distant "indirect interaction" in our lives through social networks and the Internet.
