This study investigates the managerial problems faced by the institutional heads in the area of educational management in Bangladesh. The aim of this article is to recognize the key influences, challenges and barriers of the organizational heads in the education management sectors and to pursue the adequate solution of those complications, which are the strong barriers to achieving the organizational objectives in the field of educational management. For this research, qualitative descriptive methodology was employed to collect secondary data from different authentic sources. In Bangladesh, organizational leaders in education sector face numerous challenges and difficulties in carrying out their managerial activities in the field of educational management. In terms of administrative abilities, they have immense gaps and deficiencies in conducting their respective actions and obligations in the educational institution, such as managing the institutes with supervision, control, assessment, motivation and effective utilization of resources. This study is critically reviewing the Henri Fayol’s 14 principles for application into educational management. This study also recommends Henri Fayol’s principles for developing management skills of academic institutional heads.

<p>Financing a good management is one key to the success of an educational institution to promote or increase quality. In this study, the focus of the problem is how the management of financing available to the private universities in Surabaya medium in order to improve its quality. The method used is qualitative descriptive with the presence of the researcher as an instrument of research conducted interviews to informants as a source of primary data and documents as well as supporting books as a secondary data source. Management Funding education is one of the factors that determine the quality improvement due to the financial management that is transparent and accountable will give rise to the belief of stakehoulder and it will be the motivation of each academicians Tri Dharma College in Private colleges medium in Surabaya to conduct quality improvement in their respective fields.</p>

Educational management is an important reference in the management of industrial-based Islamic boarding schools. When the management of a leader must go through several things, including planning, organizing, and planning industry-based learning. This research includes a qualitative descriptive approach to da'wah management. The data source used in this research is a literature review. Collecting data in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. Islamic boarding school Darussalam Al-Fatah Cilacap is an industry-based Islamic boarding school. This was done to follow developments in the industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore, researchers feel it is important for the management of Islamic education at the Darussalam Al-Fatah Islamic boarding school in Cilacap. The results of the application of Islamic education management include, a) soroggan, with the bin-nazhr method, the tahfidz method, the talaqqi method, and the tikrar method, b) taddabur, c) habituation of the Hasbanah and Isyraq prayers, d) rewards for students, e ) the application of industrial learning, and f) the benefits of evaluating industry-based learning at the Darussalam Al-Fatah Cilacap Islamic boarding school.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Manajemen Program Keterampilan (Vokasi) bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) di SLBN-1 Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu pada Perencanaan program Vokasi dimulai dari struktur kurikulum, kebutuhan dasar yang disusun oleh guru-guru dalam Silabus dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Pelaksanaan program Vokasi sudah sangat baik dengan kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai perencanaan dan guru selalu mendampingi dan membimbing peserta didik dalam pelaksanaannya sampai  memiliki kemampuan menghasilkan suatu produk yang berkualitas. Peserta didik yang dianggap mampu akan melaksanakan praktik magang selama satu bulan pada dunia usaha/dunia industri ataupun di instansi pemerintah/swasta melalui MoU yang sudah terjalin. Hal lain yang mendukung pelaksanaan program  ini yaitu dukungan dari berbagai pihak baik pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat. Evaluasi program sudah baik, dibuktikan dengan adanya evaluasi dan pengawasan oleh kepala sekolah serta guru-guru telah melaksanakan evaluasi dari praktik mandiri di kelas sampai praktik magang. Abstract: TThis study aims to describe the Management Skills (Vocational) Program for Children with Special Needs in SLBN-1 Palangka Raya. The research method used qualitative descriptive from primary and secondary data sources. Data collection used techniques: interviews, observation and document study. Data analysis using interactive data analysis, including: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results show that: (1) Vocational program planning starts from the curriculum structure, the basic needs compiled by the teachers in the syllabus and lesson plans (RPP); (2) The implementation of the Vocational program has been very good with learning activities according to planning and the teacher always accompanies and guides students in its implementation until they have the ability to produce a quality product; (3) Program evaluation is good, as evidenced by the existence of evaluation and supervision by the principal and teachers who have carried out evaluations from independent classroom practice to apprenticeship practice.

Globalization is a necessity, and its movement continues to grow and almost touches various aspects of human life, including education. However, the function of education as a part of the national character building must be maintained. Likewise, education management at the strategic, managerial, and operational levels determine the quality of education. Three aspects of educational management that are important are the issues of educational leadership, teacher standards, and education personnel which directly influence the quality of education. Predictably, effective educational leadership will support and realize the teacher standards and education personnel, which in turn will also improve the quality of education. This research focused on teachers' management, education personnel, teacher standards, and education quality. A qualitative descriptive approach was chosen as a design for this study.

The leadership and managerial ability of the leader of an educational institution is one of the determinants of the development of the educational institution. This study aims to describe the portrait of educational management from Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri in developing educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data is analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri was a person who had a broad understanding of leadership and management, including management of education. This is indicated by its ability to develop educational institutions to carry out managerial functions of education management in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating and monitoring. The application process by Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri is a process of adaptation in accordance with the conditions and challenges of future education. Kepemimpinan dan kemampuan  manajerial pimpinan suatu lembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor penentu perkembangan lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan potret manajemen pendidikan dari Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, presentasi, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah orang yang memiliki pemahaman luas dalam kepemimpinan dan manajemen, termasuk manajemen pendidikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh kemampuannya mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan untuk melaksanakan fungsi manajerial manajemen pendidikan dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, implementasi dan evaluasi serta pemantauan. Proses aplikasi oleh Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah proses adaptasi sesuai dengan kondisi dan tantangan pendidikan ke depan.

This paper aims to explore the concept of accountability and good governance in the management of Islamic education. This research uses a qualitative approach for library research type. The discussion data was obtained from primary and secondary data derived from books and journals of international and national reputable. Content analysis is used as an analysis technique. The results of the study show that accountability and good governance in Islamic education management is the obligation of schools to account for the management, control of resources, and the implementation of policies entrusted to institutions in order to achieve the goals that have been set. The study recommends schools to implement accountability and good governance in Islamic education management.

In the digital era 4.0, the necessary e-learning skills of the santri at the Gontor 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur modern Islamic boarding school are fundamental to be included in the pesantren education management system. The goal is to improve the students' skills to be highly competitive with other public school graduates. This research examines the education management applied and the learning methods implemented to support the students' skills at the boarding school. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with a type of case study. This approach can clearly explain the phenomena of the research phenomena and entirely from the new findings at the Pondok Pesantren Modern Darussalam Gontor 12 Tanjung Jabung Timur. This study indicates new effective methods to support e-learning-based santri skills through the learning process using the Yadan-Biyadin method. Yadan-biyadin is a method of conveying material from one hand to another or from one santri to another.

This article discusses education management in frame psychology. The education management is a factual behavior of the psychological discipline that is depicted in through the analysis of the behavior system of the school organization involving a number of components. In the application of psychology in education management is a part of the element that is not stuck in the view of uniformity that practically diversity by each education leadership. Each educational institution is a singularity that relates to the differences in the nature and condition of each component of the psychological system. To get an intact picture in this article, then used a qualitative approach with literature research design. The results of the study indicated that such an understanding is to be aware of educational practitioners of the importance of psychology universally, through culture, and psychology and social. Then the role of education management is very important especially educational institutions tailored to the psychological conditions of managerial and the needs of students.

Islam is the perfect religion that regulates all aspects of human life, including aspects of education. Education is one of the essential needs of man, because through education, people will be able to develop their potentials towards a better life. In the conception of Islam, the main function of educational institution is  as a medium of education realization in order to realize servitude to Allah and to develop any talents or potential people in accordance with their respective trends. In the Islamic view, everything must be done neatly, correctly, orderly and organized. The process must be followed properly. Something should not be done carelessly. In this case, the STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor set the vision and mission as an institution of higher education which is based on the concept and practice of sharia in its management which includes kinds of activities, like planning, supervision, organization, evaluation, and so on. This articel is striving to explain the concept and its implementation of education management sharia-based in accordance with studies at STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor. Through this paper is expected to provide knowledge about the concept and model of education management approach to the implementation of sharia in Islamic educational institutions. This study is adescriptive qualitative research methods. The writer restricts the research objects in to the concept and implementation of Islamic-based education management in STAI Al-Hidayah, obtained through a reviewof the relevant reference works of writers before, and observations and interview sconcerning management officers of STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor. The sources of secondary data obtained from books, papers or article general managementand management education that Islamic approach. In-depth study has concluded important basic concepts, namely the concept of implementing Sharia-Based Management in STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor, implemented starting from the planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluation, through the official rules in the regulation of the management of STAI Al-Hidayah has based and adapted to Islamic rule, although it is still much that needs to be refined in the details of its implementation. The writer invites, the Muslim community should give greater attention to the management of educationat every step of its implementation in order to remain committed in the corridor and Islamic guidance, as many practices exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad Kata kunci: manajemen pendidikan, syar’ah, STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor

The aim to be achieved in this study is to analyze the quality and productivity costs of case studies at the Islamic University of 45 Bekasi. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The location of the study was conducted at the Islamic University of 45 Bekasi. The data used is secondary data from the financial statements of Islamic University of 45 Bekasi in the academic year 2013/2014. Methods of data collection using interviews and observation. The highest quality cost discussion results are prevention costs at the cost of seminars and training for lecturers as much as Rp. 450,561,400, -. The lowest quality cost is the assessment fee at the cost of lecturer accreditation of Rp. 1,925,000, -. The percentage of quality costs is 2.1% smaller than the fairness of the total quality costs of 2.5%. The realization of the output of new student admissions was obtained in the 2013/2014 school year as many as 1,339 people. Total students 6,364 people. The study period is more than 4 years and has not graduated as many as 992 people. Failure costs as much as 16% of total students. Realization of financial output was achieved in the amount of Rp. 39,384,232,556, - ​​Input Rp. 35,606,307,800, - used to obtain output. Company productivity is efficient because output is greater than input. Company productivity is effective because the company achieves financial goals by obtaining a surplus of Rp. 3,777,924,756, - The conclusion that can be drawn is that quality costs are able to obtain output in the form of income exceeding its input value so that productivity is efficient and effective and surplus.
