New teaching and learning techniques are developing day by day with the support of information technology and the Internet. Many universities take the advantage of support of information technologies on teaching and learning environments. Each individual’s physical, mental and emotional skills are different. It is emphasized that, more importance are given to individuals performances while they are in groups in those places where the traditional teaching approaches is dominated. At this point, individual performance of individuals and their different learning abilities could not be evaluated alone and left in the background. In these places, it is also stated the importance of learning in groups but not individually. The attitude of an individual towards the computer could be defined as a positive or negative view of the individual on the computer technology or the computer-supported applications. In the development of the attitude of the students, their personal characteristics, perception of computers, frequency of their use of computers, their sex, age and previous experiences play an important role. Some experts find it striking that when attitudes towards the computers are investigated, the researches are concentrated more on teachers and teachers-to-be, while studies on establishing the attitude of students are limited in number. For that reason, this study focuses on impact of determinants of student performance and evaluates this performance through an exploratory research.

This study aims to determine how much influence transformational leadership on the individual performances of santri, mediated by the innovative behavior of santri. This research is confirmatory research that aims to examine theories that have been there before. The number of samples in this study was 102 students who worked in the business unit of the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school. The sample selection uses a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. Testing the hypothesis refers to Baron Kenny's mediation theory and processing data using Smart PLS 3 applications, by analyzing the results of evaluating the outer and inner models. The results of this study indicate that; (1) transformational leadership of the head of a business unit has a significant positive effect on the individual performance of students with a coefficient of 0.546. (2) innovative behavior proved not to mediate the influence of transformational leadership head of the unit on individual student performance.

Recent debates on surveillance have emphasised the now myriad possibilities of automated, software-based data gathering, management and analysis. One of the many terms used to describe this phenomenon is ‘Big Data’. The field of Big Data covers a large and complex range of practices and technologies from smart borders to CCTV video analysis, and from consumer profiling to self-tracking applications. The paper’s aim is to explore the surveillance dynamics inherent in contemporary Big Data trends. To this end, the paper adopts two main perspectives concerned with two complementary expressions of Big Data: (1) the individual use of various techniques of self-surveillance and tracking and (2) the simultaneous trend to optimise urban infrastructures through smart information technologies. Drawing upon exploratory research conducted by the authors, the paper shows that both expressions of Big Data present a range of common surveillance dynamics on at least four levels: agency, temporality, spatiality and normativity. On these grounds, the paper highlights a series of important issues to explore in future research.

Information technology in schools aggressively emerged in the late 1990s to reinvent the teaching and learning process in Malaysia. Schools no longer existed merely for the purposes of traditional teaching and learning but were needed to enhance their knowledge activities so as to be able to cope with the rapid changes that were taking place. The objectives of this study are to determine the contribution of knowledge contextual factors to the knowledge activities, with particular reference to the emergence of information technologies in schools, and to evaluate progress with respect to knowledge activities in school education. The research is designed around questionnaires based on a knowledge-management conceptual framework administered to random samples of teachers in information technologyfacilitated schools and regular schools so as to be able to make comparisons. Interestingly the fi ndings show that the information technology under the “ICT Facilitated school” is not a key factor contributing to knowledge sharing among the teachers. The fi ndings also provide evidence that culture is the most important factor relating to a knowledge activity. Knowledge friendly, motivating staff , committ ed leadership, openness and mutual trust are some examples of positive school culture, whereas management factor remains crucial in facilitating learning and sharing among teachers.   Keywords: Knowledge management, school, culture, management, technology.

According to the principal ideas of the Concept of introduction of media education in Ukraine, the process of teaching and learning has to rely on information communication technologies, preparing the individual to use them skilfully and safely. This corresponds to the main aim for the teacher of a foreign language – to help learners to master skills and knowledge and to follow their own educational path. The article deals with the main aspects of using information communication technologies as a means of the development of oral speech at the English lessons in high school. The peculiarities of the development of oral speech at the final stage of school education in terms of communicative approach to language teaching and forms of information communication technologies are highlighted. During a school lesson teacher can use web quests, mailing, chats, audio- and video-conferencing, blogging, interactive applications and educational platforms. That is why it is important to understand the methodological characteristics of information communication technologies usage as well as their importance for modern education process. We also managed to reveal positive aspects and challenges of teaching English and developing oral speech with the help of information communication technologies during school practice. Using the information communication technologies has become one of the most popular tendencies in the process of education in today's world, as they help to intensify the educational process, promote perceivement and comprehension of huge amount of information.

The behavioral economy studies the cognitive, emotional and social dimensions that are inherent to the behavior of the human being, its analysis and recent research indicate its importance in decision-making according to variables of the context and personal characteristics of the individual as in the case of the generation Z; reflections that have constituted the subject for this article whose objective is to explore the theories and concepts about behavioral economics and generation Z in order to relate them to higher education in terms of identifying the university careers most preferred by part of this generation. The applied methodology has a qualitative-deductive and quantitative approach within an exploratory research based on secondary sources of information related to behavioral economies, generation Z and areas of knowledge with greater participation in the population of university students, which analyzed and interpreted allowed to understand the results regarding the areas of knowledge with greater participation in the population of university students, currently considered as generation Z and as a general conclusion, it is important to note that this approach allows to lay the foundations for future research, teachers should strengthen their knowledge in technological applications and that the behavior of the current generation in terms of choosing a university career is related to the primary interest of achieving a job relationship.

Abstract The problem of professional training of skilled human personnel in the industry of information communication technology, the urgency of which is recognized at the state level of Ukraine and the world, has been considered. It has been traced that constantly growing requirements of the labour market, swift scientific progress require the use of innovative approaches to the training of future ІТ specialists with the aim to increase their professional level. The content of standards of professional training and development of information technologies specialists in foreign countries, particularly in Japan, has been analyzed and generalized. On the basis of analysis of educational and professional standards of Japan, basic requirements to the engineer in industry of information communication technology in the conditions of competitive environment at the labour market have been comprehensively characterized. The competencies that graduate students of educational qualification level of bachelor in the conditions of new state policy concerning upgrading the quality of higher education have been considered. The constituents of professional competence in the structure of an engineer-programmer’s personality, necessary on different levels of professional improvement of a specialist for the development of community of highly skilled ІТ specialists, have been summarized. Positive features of foreign experience and the possibility of their implementation into the native educational space have been distinguished. Directions for modernization and upgrading of the quality of higher education in Ukraine and the prospects for further scientific research concerning the practice of specialists in information technologies training have been suggested

In today’s America, not every child starts on a level playing field, and very few children move ahead based solely on hard work or talent. Generational poverty and a lack of cultural capital hold many students back, robbing them of the opportunity to move up professionally and socially. Children of immigrants are especially at-risk because, in addition to facing poverty, race, geographical location or economic disadvantages, they are also confronted with failure due to their limited or non-existent English proficiency. This study focuses on the degree to which teachers in a mid-sized urban school district take into consideration the individual needs of immigrant children in the process of their education. The study also examines the preparation teachers have had to equip them with knowledge of best practices in teaching immigrant children, and the relationship between teachers’ practices, beliefs, and their demographic and personal characteristics (age, gender, years of experience, level of education, etc.). Quantitative data was collected via a survey. Interviews with teachers and one central office administrator provided data for the qualitative section of the study. The findings revealed that teachers, in general, appeared to lack knowledge of specific policies for mainstreaming immigrant students into general education classrooms; their use of effective teaching practices for working with immigrant children were limited; and most of the teachers had not participated actively in professional development that focused on teaching immigrant children.

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of task-technology fit, trust of accounting information systems, and effectiveness of accounting information systems on the individual performance at a supermarket in Tangerang city.  The samples in this study were employees of a supermarket in Tangerang city who used accounting information system in doing its job. The data used in this study is primary data through questionnaires. In data analysis techniques, this study test the reliability of the formula coefficient of Cronbach 's Alpha, validity test by means of correlation using the r counted and r table, test for normality using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the classical assumption, hypothesis testing multiple linear regression, t test, and F test. The results showed that the task-technology fit and trust of accounting information systems each have a significant effect on the individual performance, while the effectiveness of accounting information systems does not significantly influence the individual performance. Task-technology fit, trust of accounting information systems, and the effectiveness of accounting information systems have simultaneous significant effect on the individual performance.
