This study extended the author's previous research in the field of scientometrics of media researchers on the topic “Mass information. Journalism. Mass media” in Russian electronic library and Russian Science Citation Index. The methodology was a census of the personalities of the first hundred authors ranked by the level of the h-index in 2020 compared to 2017, and in some aspects — from 2016. The study analyzed the changes in the h-index over the years under study, changes in the authors' geography by federal districts and cities of the Russian Federation, their academic position, the distribution of doctors and candidates of sciences in scientific majors in accordance with the awarded degree, as well as the distribution of rating personalities by actual scientific interests and taught courses in their affiliated scientific and educational organizations. The study revealed the importance of scientometric indicators for authors and scientific and educational organizations to determine their place in the academic community, the relevance of topics and authors’ research in the general academic landscape, and material incentives. At the same time, it was noted that the system of scientometric indicators is changing: perhaps the h-index the number of published works and the number of citations in the RSCI will remain as an object of research by historians of science to determine the common place of Russian (and Soviet) scientists in the science development, and in addition or to replace them there will be new indicators. One of them is the "percentile" recently introduced into the list of scientometric indicators. Studies of the values of scientometric indicators will remain relevant in the future.

This research took place in 74 regions of Russian Federation. 9772 teachers and 4565 parents participated in this study. The aim of the research was to observe the assessment made by teachers and parents (legal representatives) about the degree of public participation in basic educational programs development. The subjects filled specially designed questionnaires. These questionnaires had small differences for teachers and parents. The main assessment criteria of public participation in educational institutions activity were the frequency of approaches to parents (legal representatives) on various issues, their estimation and level of satisfaction in education and personal development methods performed by educational organizations. According to the obtained data, all of the described assessment criteria statistically significantly differ between teachers and parent (legal representatives). The majority of teachers do not approve parents’ attempts to influence the content, specification and methods of education and personal development. On the contrary, parents declare their readiness to do so, while sometimes their requests are unfounded.

Among the most acute socio-pedagogical problems facing the modern Russian school is the increasing number of aggressive manifestations in the educational environment. This situation actualizes the schools need for the prevention and correction of aggressive behavior. The article presents the results of a socio-pedagogical research, the purpose of which was to identify the types and forms of aggressive behavior in the educational environment and to explore the current state of preventive work. The study was conducted by the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing in July 2021 in the form of a questionnaire survey of directors of educational organizations. The methodology of the research included a socio-pedagogical analysis of situations of aggressive manifestations among students, teachers and parents; study of social, environmental, family and personal factors of aggressive behavior; and identification of mechanisms for preventing aggressive behavior in the educational environment. The results are presented in the format of socio-psychological portraits of three schools located in the countryside, which are prominent representatives of Russian rural society. The study made it possible to draw the following main conclusions: (1) preventive work becomes an independent type of pedagogical work; (2) cyber-aggression, which was actively manifested during the period of distance learning and now requires comprehensive preventive work with students, teachers, and parents, is an over-pressing problem for educational organizations; (3) todays school is faced with the urgent task of developing and implementing programs for the prevention and correction of aggressive behavior. In Part 2, the authors are testing the methods of assessing Russian science journals citation in the natural, agricultural sciences and the humanities based on Web of Science Core Collection. The methodological approach is based on calculating citation coefficient which is a modified version of impact factor, calculated as the ratio of the number of citing documents to the number of scientific articles in Russian journals. The method is tested on the scientific articles published in Russian journals of 2012–2018 and indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection. As a result, recommendations are developed on how to promote Russian journals to the international databases based on Web of Science Core Collection taking into account the specifics of OECD domains under the examination. The general recommendations are: to decrease the share of mono-national publications thus increasing the share of articles written in the international collaboration; and to increase the share of articles by foreign authors. The study is accomplished through the funding within the State Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian federation “Organizational, technological, research and methodological support of promoting national journals to the international science citation bases and information analytical support of the national subscription to international science information resources for scientific and educational organizations”.

The results of bibliometric analysis of using digital versions of articles of “Scientific and Technical Libraries” Journal in 2017 are published. Russian Science Citation Index and retrieval results for the queries made via RNPLS&T www-site, elibrary.ru, and click-through from search Internet portals, are compared. Data on the articles cited in Russian Science Citation Index and WoS are given. The major part of accesses is observed within the first months since publication and then their number decreases though individual articles get high level of access for many years. The queries from libraries’ research and educational organizations are analyzed. The author offers recommendations on how to increase demand and citation of the articles. The bibliometric analysis demonstrates that digital versions of the journal publications are demanded by the professional community and other users accessing them via Internet search portals. The Scientific and Technical Libraries’ should expand their abstracts—their content and completeness influence indexing provided by search systems. They also often underestimate citations within the subject they are exploring which results in unnecessarily low citation the Russian Science Citation Index and WoS.
