In the reviewed studies non-verbal communication used by teachers in teaching English. The purpose of this research is to study the type of Non-verbal communication by English teachers in teaching and to finding out how English teachers use non-verbal communication in teaching class, much further, whether to seek out the strength and weaknesses of the non-verbal communication, and to find out the effective way to use non-verbal communication efficiently and effectively.  This research used a Quantitative approach which the effortsis to collect all of the studies that shared the common field of the study.  The result of this study showed that the benefits,the advantages, the disadvantages and its effects. Moreover the non-verbal communicationgive some contributions in education which can be applied by teacher today.  Recommendation and suggestion are offered in the current study.  Hence,non-verbal communication is recommended to be used by teacher in this classroom.

The report discusses traditional singing games in English and the benefits of their use in teaching English as a foreign language, especially in teaching modules developed according to the interests of primary school students. A review of scholarly articles has been made and some conclusions about using singing games in teaching and learning English as a foreign language has been presented.

This article deals with the training of Fun English Games Learning Method for English Teacher in MAS NU Batahan, This article shows several learning methods by using English Games funny and easy to understand, such as, Word Connect Application, Spelling Bee application, Stop the Clock Application, Typing Paragraphs for speed. This activity intends to enlarge some learning methods by using English Games for fun, and to give comprehending that English learning’s easy and enjoying. The method of this study used community development that collaborating theory and practicing in which using fun English games learning method in teaching English for English teacher MAS NU Batahan. The result shows that Fun English Games learning Method’s successfully applied in the classroom, the students are happy and can understand English learning easily and quickly through Fun English Games Method. It has benefit for teachers in teaching 4 skill, reading, writing, speaking and listening that must be mastered by students. In addition, School can use this method to improve the quality of learning in achieving very satisfactory results. Based on the explanation above can be concluded that Fun English Games learning Method for English teachers is very useful dan helpful in teaching and learning process.

Implementing learning or communicative strategies are not enough to develop oral production when learning English as a Foreign language; indeed, it is necessary to provide authentic activities that engage students in the act of speaking. The objective of this research is to know if the interactive activities operated in the Moodle platform promote oral production and identify the possible association between their scores from the instructional design and their speaking level from a standardized exam. For this, a longitudinal quantitative approach was carried out during spring 2020 in the Teaching English Bachelor at BUAP, having a sample of 20 subjects. The results demonstrated that the use of authentic-interactive activities improved the students’ speaking competence significantly. Furthermore, this study pretends to contribute with useful theoretical information for teachers and students who want to select appropriate tasks to improve this competence. It is essential to clarify that this is an innovative study since it promotes the use of activities and strategies mediated by technology asynchronously and synchronously, which are flexible and suitable for students’ needs in times of contingence.

The objectives of this research was to know the process of learning English vocabulary by using guessing words game and to know the students’ problem in learning English vocabulary by using guessing words game for the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Palu in academic year of2019/2020 with the use of guessing words game technique. In this research, the researcher used qualitative research method. The researcher chose class VII D as sample which consisted of 23 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used four kinds of instruments, they were: observation,interview, test and document. Based on the observation, there are some problems in the teaching and learning. To solve those problems, the researcher implemented guessing words game as vocabulary activities. This research was conducted through classroom action research that consisted of two cycles. Each cycles consisted three meetings. The result of the research showed that there were some improvements of the students’ vocabulary. In cycle 1 average score was 62,86 there were some unsuccessful score. Meanwhile, in cycle 2 average score was 72,34 the implementation of guessing words game was successful in developing students vocabulary. Guessing words game gives better result to develop the students’ vocabulary. In other words, guessing words game is effective to use in teaching English vocabulary.

This study was a descriptive qualitative which intended to investigate the types of instructional media used and the implementation done by the English teachers. The instructional media used to become the best solution to overcome the learning problems faced by the teachers. The subjects of this study were 5 English teachers at SMPN 2 Melaya. The data were collected through observation during the teaching and learning process and interviews with the teachers. The data analyzed descriptively. From the overall findings, the English teachers used eight types of instructional media, such as; real objects or models, slides, pictures, video, web, audio, books, and the boards. The teachers had different ways to implement them, such as they used LCD Projector and speakers as the tools to show the material and the school environment as the realia. The lack of facilities became the main problem in implementing them. Moreover, the teachers tend to use the same instructional media for the other topic since they do not have enough time to prepare.

In a modern era many students like to learn english easily, many students learn english with listening something, like listening music in their mobile phone or in the radio, in this era we can find the western song in many place, like in the mall, radio, and so on. So we can hear the western song and learn listening english easily. Teaching listening is teaching students to learn to listen to languages and conversations using the ear. The reason for students being able to listen to spoken English is by letting them listen to variations and accents rather than just the teachers voice with its own idiosyncrasies. Listening is a very important skill in language learning and can’t be underestimated especially in an academic context and is separated in language so that listening has an important role in teaching the language including teaching English. The purpose of this study is to find out how English teacher use TOEIC applications in listening to students and how students respond to the use of TOEIC applications in student listening. Most students argue that the hardest is listening, and some of them even have difficulties in understanding the teachers who are teaching English. It states that students still have difficulty in listening and become one of the obstacles in learning English. The used of media as a tool or means in teaching and learning English that is very useful for students and teachers. This research is to know how big influence of TOEIC application media in learning to listen English. The design taken in this study is pre-experimental design and the author also uses quantitative research methods in conducting research. Subjects in this study were students of class XI AKP1 in SMKN 2 Karawang which amounted to 32 students as a sample. The author used a listening test to collect data. The procedure used in this research is pretest, treatment and posttest. Pretest was given to students to measure their knowledge before treatment, treatment is the researcher teach about TOEIC application, and posttest is a final result from the treatment.

<p>This article aims to provide scientific, accurate and overall information on the English teachers fostering activities at secondary schools in Ke Sach district, Soc Trang province. Via the sociological survey method and direct interview, this article has informed comprehensively about the status of teachers’ quality and students’ results in learning English, English teachers’ awareness of fostering activities, implementing teaching contents under the teaching and learning foreign languages project, as well as English teachers fostering activity methods, and forms of English teachers fostering activities of educational managers. Ar-rohmah English Community is an extracurricular program which provides time and creates opportunity to learn English speaking skill. The aims of this study are to describe kinds of speaking activities used in Ar-Rohmah English Community Program in SMA Ar-Rohmah Malang, to find out the problems related to teaching and learning English speaking skill activities in AEC Program and to investigate the solutions for the problems. The use of research design in this study was descriptive qualitative in which the instrument used to get the data were observation, questionnaire and interview. It was presumed as the proper design in order to attain the purpose in overcoming and solving the research problems. This study obtained the data from twenty-four students and two English teachers who were involved in the AEC Program. After analyzing the data, it is found that English teachers use seven speaking activities in Ar-Rohmah English Community Program. Those seven activities are free speaking, card game, watching movie, interview, storytelling, science writing presentation and dialogue activities. Furthermore, the problems found related to teaching and learning English speaking skill are derived from linguistic and non-linguistic factors. From linguistic factors, it is found that the students face the difficulty on mastering vocabulary, choosing appropriate grammar, lacking of pronunciation experience and not habituated with English. Moreover, from non-linguistic factor, they are reluctant to speak in English because they are inhibited, have nothing to say, have low participation and feel ease and safe using mother tongue language. Besides, the teachers face the difficulty such as get tired to handle a large class with only two teachers, confused to choose suitable activity, do not remember students’ names, hard to motivate the students to speak in English and lack of preparation time. In addition, other activity which is Pandu Hidayatullah influences the students’ passion toward AEC Program. Dealing with those problems, the teachers keep creating creative, fun and interesting activity to improve the students’ vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and familiarized the students with English. By creating regulations, they solve the problems of students’ low motivation to use English hard to push the students using English

This article presents the theoretical analysis of using the wiki technology in the process of teaching English to non-linguistic students. The author studies the potential of wiki technology in developing reading, writing and speaking skills. Moreover, this paper demonstrates the positive aspects of wiki technology. As a result of the researching, it is noted that the wiki technology is one of the necessary and useful technologies in teaching and learning English in higher schools.
