Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara variabel bebas kepemimpinan The objective of this researdh is to find out the correlation between Principal’s Managerial Leadership and Compensation as independent variables with Job Satisfaction as dependent variable, both individually and collectivelly. Among 119 vocational high school  teachers were surveyed and 77 respondent were selected as samples for the research. Normality, simple regression, multiple regression, simple correlation, multiple correlation, and partial correlation are several data analysis method that were used in this research.  The result of this research imply that: Firstly, a positive and significant corelation was found between Principal’s Managerial Leadership with Job Satisfaction and expressed in coefficient correlation correlation  ry1 = 0.0,319 (a = 0,05) and regression equation as Y=94,350 + 0,245X1 and  determination coefficient is  r2y1 = 0.101  Secondly, a positive and significant corelation was found between Compensation and Job Satisfaction can be found and  expressed in coefficient correlation ry2 = 0.314 and regression equation as Y = 98,752 +0,205X2 and determination coefficient is r2y2 = 0.099.  Thirdly, this research also found that there is a positive corelation between Principal’s Managerial Leadership and Compensation along with Job Satisfaction which is expressed in multiple  correlation of  ry12 = 0.319 and regression form of Y= 94,709 +0,219X1 + 0,023X2,  and determination coefficient is r2 = 0,319 . According to result of this research that improvement of teachers job satisfaction can be in creased by Principal’s Managerial Leadership interest and Compensation interest.

The study was carried out to find out whether there were influence and correlation bet-ween : a) Reward received by the IRDABI’s employees on their job satisfaction. b) style of the leader-ship on the job satisfaction. c) Reward together with style of leadership on the job satisfaction of IR-DABI’s employees.The result of the study showed that there was significant correlation and influence between the reward on the job satisfaction with was shown by the value of partial correlation coefficient of 0.6185 and coefficient of multiple regression for reward variable (β1) of 0.412. The influence of variable for style of leadership on the job satisfaction was also significant with the partial correlation coefficient of 0.5495 and coefficient of multiple regression (β2) of 0.355.In the test of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) on the equation of multiple regression show that F-value was bigger that F-table (F = 58.97 > F-table = 3.098) or the Probability Value smaller than 0.05. At showed that there was significant correlation and influence between reward variables all together with style of leadership on the job satisfaction of employees. The value of multiple correlation coefficient (R) was 0.751 and R Square (R2) was 0.564. Value of R Square (0.564) meant that 56.5% of variation pro-portion total of job satisfaction can be eliminated of equation of multiple regression was used as the es-timator rather than using average value of job satisfaction as the estimator.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja dan komitmen guru, secara simultan dan parsial terhadap profesionalisme guru produktif SMK bidang keahlian TIK di kota Yogyakarta. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 66 dari 79 guru yang tersebar di 14 SMK di wilayah kota Yogyakarta. Teknik sampling menggunakan proportionate random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, kecerdasan emosional guru secara signifikan berpengaruh langsung terhadap profesionalisme guru produktif SMK bidang keahlian TIK di kota Yogyakarta, dengan kontribusi sebesar 0,701 (faktor determinan). Selanjutnya, tidak ada pengaruh langsung kepuasan kerja guru terhadap profesionalisme guru produktif SMK bidang keahlian TIK di kota Yogyakarta. Komitmen guru secara signifikan berpengaruh langsung terhadap profesionalisme guru produktif SMK bidang keahlian TIK di kota Yogyakarta, dengan kontribusi sebesar 0,224. Sementara itu, secara simultan kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja dan komitmen guru secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap profesionalisme guru produktif SMK bidang keahlian TIK di kota Yogyakarta, dengan kontribusi sebesar 57%.  DETERMINANT FACTORS OF THE PROFESSIONALISM OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGYAbstractThis study aims to determine direct and indirect effects of teachers’ emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and commitment, both simultaneously and partially, on the professionalism of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) productive teachers in the vocational high schools (VHSs) of Yogyakarta City. The research sample were 66 of 79 ICT productive teachers in 14 VHSs in Yogyakarta City. The sampling technique was proportionate random sampling. The data collecting techniques was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the path analysis technique. The results show that partially, teachers’ emotional intelligence significantly and directly affects the ICT productive teachers’ professionalism in VHSs of Yogyakarta City, with a contribution of 0,701 (determinant factor). Furthermore, teachers’ job satisfaction does not directly affect the ICT productive teachers’ professionalism in VHSs of Yogyakarta City. Significantly, teachers’ commitment directly affects the ICT productive teachers’ professionalism in VHSs of Yogyakarta City, with a contribution of 0,224. Meanwhile, simultaneously teachers’ emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and commitment significantly and directly affect the ICT productive teachers’ professionalism in VHSs of Yogyakarta City, with contributions by 57%.

The objective of this research is to analyze the correlation between The Charismatic Leadership Style and Personality with the Teachers Innovation. This research uses two independent variables, those are The Charismatic Leadership Style and Personality with the Teachers Innovation. The research was conducted at 15 states Junior High Schools at Cicurug Subdistrict Sukabumi West Java in 2017 with 130 samples selected from 193 of populations, selected by Proporsional Random Sampling . This research uses survey method by analyzing data with sample and multiple correlation statistic test. The research concludes that: First, there is positive and highly significant correlation between Charismatic Leadership Style (X1) and Teachers Innovation. (Y) with regression equation ? = 49,037 + 0,603 X1 and correlation coefficient ry1 = 0,7164 and determination coefficient r2y1 = 0,5132. Second; there was positive and highly significant correlation between Personality (X2) with Teachers Innovation. with regression equation ? = 46,384 + 0,634 X2 and correlation coefficient ry2 = 0,6989 and determination coefficient r2y2 = 0,4884; and the Third, there was positive highly significant correlation between Charismatic Leadership Style (X1) and Personality (X2) all together with Teachers Innovation. (Y) with regression eqution ? = 18,872 + 0,422 ,422 ????X + 0,419 X2. , correlation coefficient ry12 = 0,8290 and r_(y.12)^2 determination coefficient 0,6873, or it means that the contribution of pedagogical competencies and achivement motivation links to Teachers Innovation. Based on the description above,teachers innovation can be enhanced through Charismatic Leadership Style and Personality.Keywords: Charismatic Leadership, Personality, Teacher Innovation

Teacher as a professional educator should has the academic qualification. Academic qualification required for a teacher is he or she at least should be educated of bachelor degree or diploma four.</p> <p>Fundamentaly, teacher performance is determined by the expertise and ability of teacher concerned. These achievement factor is so thick and so critical in its relation to competence, compensation, and also job satisfaction that may become the obstacle in the enhancement of teacher performance.</p> <p>Population in this research was the teachers of the State Vocational High School Teachers in Surabaya, amounted to 317, educated in bachelor degree or diploma four, had have service of minimal 5 years. Data analysis used the simple random sampling, structural equation model (SEM) analysis, by the assistance of PLS 2 software, conducted on 92 respondents and able to explain the effect of competence and compensation on the job satisfaction and the performance of the State Vocational High School Teachers in Surabaya.</p> <p>The results of research indicated that: Competence and compensation significantly influential on teacher job satisfaction;  Competence and compensation significantly influential on teacher performance; Teacher Job satisfaction signifiacntly influential on the performance of the State Vocational High School Teachers in Surabaya.</p> <p>The largest effect of the three variables hipothesized on teacher performance in this research was the direct relatedness between compensation and teacher performance.</p> <p> </p> Key Words: competence, compensation, teacher job satisfaction, teacher performance

Kurangnya keterlibatan siswa sering menjadi permasalahan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ). Dalam situasi tersebut, siswa membutuhkan adanya dukungan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana perspektif guru terkait keterlibatan siswa dalam PJJ serta melihat dukungan seperti apa yang diberikan guru kepada siswa dalam PJJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian merupakan 23 guru SMK yang melaksanakan PJJ. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi pertanyaan-pertanyaan terbuka mengenai pengalaman guru selama pelaksanaan PJJ. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru melihat siswa kurang terlibat dalam PJJ. Selain itu, dalam PJJ ini diketahui bahwa guru masih dapat memberikan dukungan-dukungan walaupun secara fisik terpisah dengan siswa. Dukungan yang diberikan dapat berupa dukungan emosional, dukungan informasi, dukungan instrumental maupun dukungan penghargaan. The lack of student engagement often becomes the problem of distance learning. Amid this situation, students need academic supports. This research aims to investigate the perspective of teachers on student engagement and to investigate supports that the teachers give to students.  This research employed a qualitative approach and thematic analysis method. Participants of this research were 23 Vocational High School teachers who implemented distance learning. Data was gathered by means of a questionnaire containing open-ended questions. Research results revealed that students have low behavioral engagement. For emotional engagement, some students showed negative feelings, but other students showed positive feelings. The same case with cognitive engagement. Although some students had low motivation, other students showed their efforts in distance learning.  In addition, results showed teachers provide supports to students such as emotional support, informational support, instrumental support, and appraisal supports.

The low students’ final exam grades, low attendance of the teachers, and unsatisfactory results of teachers’ performance assessment are some indicators of teachers’ low performance. On the bases of these phenomena, this article discusses results of explanatory survey research investigating the effects of job satisfaction on the performance of 25 certified state vocational high school teachers. Using sets of questionnaire as the instruments of data collection and simple regression in data analysis, the research has found that job satisfaction has positively and significantly affected the performance of certified teachers. The study indicates the needs for the principals to elevate quality performance of the teachers by improving the regulations concerning the teachers’ discipline and designing activities which intend to increase the teachers’ social competences.ABSTRAKRendahnya nilai ujian akhir sekolah siswa, tingkat kehadiran guru dan hasil penilaian kinerja guru adalah beberapa indikator yang menunjukkan rendahnya kinerja guru. Dengan dilatarbelakangi fenomena tersebut artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian eksplanatory survey yang ditujukkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja 52 orang guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri yang telah tersertifikasi. Dengan menggunakan quesioner sebagai instrument pengumpulan data, yang dianalisa dengan teknik analisis regresi sederhana, analisa data menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru yang telah tersertifikasi. Untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja guru, pimpinan sekolah harus memperbaiki aturan sekaitan dengan kedisiplinan guru dan merancang kegiatan yang ditujukkan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi sosial para guru.

Institutions can use customer satisfaction to build loyalty and success in educational institutions so that teachers can evaluate how the institution is operated. This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction on vocational high school teachers' Narimo ing Pandum attitudes and analyze factor of teacher job satisfaction and Narimo ing Pandum attitudes. This study used mixed-method research. This study was attended by 100 vocational high school teachers majoring in office administration from nine state vocational high schools in the Solo Raya area, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by interview and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis was conducted with simple linear regression analysis test and interactive analysis (data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion). This study’s findings revealed that there was a significant effect of job satisfaction on the vocational high school teachers' Narimo ing Pandum attitudes. The highest factor of teacher job satisfaction was coworker support (20.27%), and the lowest factor was the work itself (13.77%). Meanwhile, the highest percentage of the Narimo ing Pandum attitude was honest and sincere (22.28%), and the lowest percentage was gratitude (13.17%). These findings contribute that school principals need to pay serious attention to job satisfaction and Narimo ing Pandum attitudes by optimizing what teachers need in teaching. It is hoped that the teacher can apply the principles of the Narimo ing Pandum attitude.
