Today, cybersecurity is a growing issue in our education society to ensure a safe teaching and learning process for teachers and students. Reports and studies demonstrated that teachers and students are moderately aware of the cybersecurity threat surrounding them that could affect the learning curve and other fatal impacts. This study aims to identify the role of self-efficacy in the relationship between knowledge, attitude, and environment behavior of cybersecurity awareness. The researchers used a correlational design with a quantitative approach by using a questionnaire instrument to collect data from teacher respondents. A total of 350 teachers in took part in this survey voluntarily, distributed using social media applications in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The researchers used the IBM SPSS Statistics to analyze the data descriptively and inferentially. The levels of knowledge, attitude, self-efficacy, and environment behavior of Malaysian school teachers towards cybersecurity awareness are low. Self-efficacy acts as a moderator in influencing the relationship between knowledge, attitude, and environment behavior of cybersecurity awareness. Strategies and programs need to be initiated by stakeholders to increase the self-efficacy of cybersecurity that could assist the positive change of environment behavior among teachers for teaching and learning benefit.

The present investigation was intended to ascertain the role of self efficacy and spiritual values on life satisfaction among school teachers. Sample consisted of 120 school teachers from different districts of Uttar Pradesh, India. They were assessed by Teacher’s Self Efficacy scale (Ansari M., Khan S.A. and Khan S.M., 2017), Spiritual Values Scale (Husain A., Zehra S. and Jahan M., 2015) and Life Satisfaction Scale (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, and Griffen, 1985). Pearson product moment correlation was applied to study the relationship among self efficacy, spiritual values and life satisfaction, whereas it was found that these all variables are positively and significantly correlated with each other. Before proceeding to regression analysis robustness of the data was examined and found appropriate to go ahead. The multiple linear (stepwise) regression was administered to study the contribution of teacher’s self efficacy and spiritual values on life satisfaction, result shows that teacher’s self efficacy and spiritual values are accounted for a significant amount of variance in life satisfaction of school teachers.

Important strides have been made toward understanding the relationship between self-efficacy and life satisfaction. However, existing studies have largely focused on work and academic domains, leaving self-efficacy in the finance domain less frequently investigated. The present study applied the self-efficacy construct to the finance domain, namely “financial self-efficacy” (FSE), and tested the sequential mediating roles of high standards tendency and investment satisfaction in the relationship between FSE and general life satisfaction. A total of 323 employees from finance-related businesses completed anonymous questionnaires regarding FSE, high standards tendency, investment satisfaction, and general life satisfaction. Results indicated that FSE influenced general life satisfaction through investment satisfaction, and sequentially through high standards tendency and investment satisfaction. These results provide contributions to the current literature on life satisfaction, and positive psychology literature by shedding light on the roles of high standards tendency and investment satisfaction in the relation between FSE and general life satisfaction.

The reinforcing effects of positive characteristics in maintaining teachers’ and students’ psychological health have been well documented. However, there has been very little research into the determinants of what constitutes positive characteristics among teachers. Neither the full role played by mindfulness nor the psychological capital of teachers with positive characteristics remains unknown. This study marks the beginning of an investigation into such an issue. The sample of the study involved the participation of 374 teachers. In Model 1, the mediating role of psychological capital was tested in the relationship between mindfulness in teaching and teacher positivity. Meanwhile, in Model 2, the mediating role of mindfulness in teaching was tested in the relationship between psychological capital and positive teacher characteristics. In Model 1, the standardised path coefficients between the variables were not found to be statistically significant, thus prompting the test of a second structural model. The results showed that mindfulness in teaching appeared to constitute a full mediator in the relationship between psychological capital and positive characteristics among primary school teachers.

Abstract The role of Islamic education teacher (IET) as society change agent (SCA) requires a strong internal motivation factor. It begins with confidence in self-ability i.e. self-efficacy (SE) in implementing the trust given to them. This study aims to assess the relationship between SE ITE in Malaysia with the role of SCA in society. This quantitative study has involved 1382 IETs in Malaysia. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling and based on random sample selection. The findings show that the SE level of ITE is at high level. But the role of IET as SCA is at less satisfactory level. Furthermore, SE has been identified to have a significant relationship with IET’s role as SCA but was at weak level. The implication is, the study finds that the focus should be on restoring ITE’s mindset about the community’s work and developing the ummah, as well as the 21st century teaching and learning (T&L) skills. In fact, IET needs to be given practical exposure to engage in society through NGOs, surau, mosques, da’wah organization and government agencies.

Pain management is one of the most recurrent healthcare services provided by nurses. Based on the proposition of the self-efficacy theory, knowledge and attitudes can affect the nurses; confidence and their ability to manage the patients’ discomforts, which consequently affects their ability to apply appropriate pain management practices. The study examines the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards distress management and the nurse’s individual capability to manage pain. The research is a transverse, correlational design study involving 266 registered nurses (n = 266). The nurses were requested to provide information on pain management via three instruments: attitude to, knowledge of and self-efficacy of pain management. Statistically, the nurses displayed an essential relationship between self-efficacy and attitude towards pain management (β = 0.502, t = 10.119, p< 0.001). Also, the study discovered a substantial connection between the nurses’ familiarity to pain management and their ability to manage it in patients’ pain (β = 0.368, t = 6.619, p < 0.001). This study recommends that future research be undertaken to investigate the mediating effects of self-efficacy on the knowledge and attitude towards agony management relationship and distress management practices. Additionally, in future, scholars can examine the direct relationship between the effectiveness of agony control and pain management routines of nurses.
