Technology business incubators (TBI) are considered an alternative for promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, employment and income generation, the maintenance of companies and consequently, local and regional development. However, despite the high number of incubators and investment made, the initiatives to assess the results of incubators are limited; little is known about the success of these in supporting the creation and development of new businesses. Within this context, this research analyzed the performance of technology business incubators located in Brazil. According to the proposed objectives, this research is of an exploratory, descriptive and analytical nature, in a quantitative approach that used a survey as a research strategy, obtaining a sample of 97 incubators researched, in a universe of 112 technology business incubators. Through the data analysis, it can be concluded, according to the results presented by the TBI surveyed, that these are beneath the fulfillment of the objectives that they propose so that they are not contributing effectively to the local and regional development. Thus, it is suggested that the TBI's managers reflect on the real reasons why the researched organizations are not achieving the purposes that justify their existence.

Besed on research observations at Raudhatul Athfal 03 Ishlahul Ummah, Kota Sawahlunto, researchers found that the problem of children’s creativity is not optimally developed. This can be seen in the activities of creativity development: coloring pictures, where the average coloring results of children are almost the same as those in LKS. Likewise in the development of other creativity, to make as children like with plasticine, children are only able to imitate other friends to other friends in the example where there is a teacher’s direction. This is due in part to the lack of children’s creativity in creating new works in Raudhatul Athfal 03 Ishlahul Ummah, Kota Sawahlunto. To overcome these problems, researchers look for alter native solutions through the activities of playing soap dough. Therefore through the play of soap dough is thought to influence the development of creativity of children 5-6 years. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the influence of soap dough play activities on the development of creativity of children 5-6 years at Raudhatul athfal 03 Ishlahul Ummah, Kota Sawahlunto. Based on data analysis, th experimental group’s average testresults were 62.82 and SD was 7.75 while the control group was 57.69 and SD was 6.08. In testing the hypothesis obtained t count of 2,78595 < and t table of 2.06390 at the real level α = 0.05 (5%) and dk=24. So it can be concluded that the activity of playing soap dough on the development of creativity of children 5-6 years at Raudhatul Athfal 03 Ishlahul Ummah, Kota Sawahlunto 2019/2020 school year.

In the 1980s, the renewal of academic interest in entrepreneurship as a factor of development highlighted the role of entrepreneurs in creating jobs and driving innovation. In the new century, fostering entrepreneurship became a public policy priority. In Portugal, the practice of creating business incubators has been gaining momentum and various institutions have developed business incubation activities. This study focuses on ADRAL – Agência de Desenvolvimento Regional do Alentejo, an agency for the regional development of Alentejo – and analyzes one of its instruments for the promotion of entrepreneurship – the creation of business incubators (also designated as enterprises' nests) located in Marvão and Montemor-o-Novo. These chapter focus on these two cases and assess the distinctive aspects of the partnerships between the development agency and the municipalities, and also the characteristics of the entrepreneurial projects and respective entrepreneurs, aiming at identifying the specificities of this approach and its success determinants.

After thirteen long years of military dictatorship, national elections on the basis of adult franchise were held in Pakistan in December 1970. The Awami League, led by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the Pakistan Peoples Party, under Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, emerged as the two majority political parties in East Pakistan and West Pakistan respectively. The political party commanding a majority in one wing of the country had almost no following in the other. This ended in a political and constitutional deadlock, since this split mandate and political exclusiveness gradually led to the parting of ways and political polarization. Power was not transferred to the majority party (that is, the Awami League) within the legally prescribed time; instead, in the wake of the political/ constitutional crisis, a civil war broke out in East Pakistan which soon led to an open war between India and Pakistan in December 1971. This ultimately resulted in the dismemberment of Pakistan, and in the creation of Bangladesh as a sovereign country. The book under review is a political study of the causes and consequences of this crisis and the war, based on a reconstruction of the real facts, historical events, political processes and developments. It candidly recapitulates the respective roles of the political elites (both of India and Pakistan), their leaders and governments, and assesses their perceptions of the real situation. It is an absorbing narrative of almost thirteen months, from 7 December, 1970, when elections were held in Pakistan, to 17 December, 1971 when the war ended after the Pakistani army's surrender to the Indian army in Dhaka (on December 16, 1971). The authors, who are trained political scientists, give fresh interpretations of these historical events and processes and relate them to the broader regional and global issues, thus assessing the crisis in a broader perspective. This change of perspective enhances our understanding of the problems the authors discuss. Their focus on the problems under discussion is sharp, cogent, enlightening, and circumspect, whether or not the reader agrees with their conclusions. The grasp of the source material is masterly; their narration of fast-moving political events is superbly anchored in their scientific methodology and political philosophy.
