Issues on measuring or assessing library impact have not been widely discussed in Indonesia. So far, many libraries have only focused on how to measure its performance in various aspects and the provision of statistical data conducted with various tools / methods / approaches, including SNI ISO 11620:2014 on library performance indicators and SNI ISO 2789:2013 on library statistics. This paper aims to introduce one of the standards that can be used in library impact assessment, ISO 16439-2014, Information and documentation - Methods and procedures for assessing the impact of libraries. This paper is a review paper and the method used in its writing is a general review that is providing an overview of a particular subject by examining previously published studies on the subject. This paper summarizes some of the methods described in ISO 16439 and new insights related to the implementation of library impact assessments based on these standards. Based on the results of the review, this standard comprehensively describes various methods for assessing the impact of libraries on individuals, institutions or library communities, and social that have been used around the world by various types of libraries at various scales. It also provides a way to determine the right method choices according to the impact assessment objectives that a library want to achieve, scope, and resources.

TThe research objective was to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the macroeconomic situation in Poland. The research employed critical analysis of scientific literature and an analysis of statistical data. The first part of the article describes the channels through which the COVID-19 pandemic affects economy. The second part contains an analysis of changes in the mood of entrepreneurs, using monthly fluctuations of the indices measuring economic situation and consumer confidence, followed by an evaluation of Poland’s macroeconomic situation in the context of the developing COVID-19 pandemic. This evaluation was based on an analysis of quarterly data concerning changes in the GDP and its component parts, the labour market situation and changes in price indices from the first quarter of 2018 to the second quarter of 2021. The research results showed that the COVID -19 pandemic and the restrictions imposed by the Polish government caused negative consequences in the Polish economy. This is evidenced by the worse mood prevalent among entrepreneurs and consumers. Ecological development is one of the three components of sustainable development. To be able to analyse the impact of economic and social development on the ecological situation of the region, ecological development has to be assessed using quantitative methods. The ecological development of a region can be seen as a complex integrated phenomenon observed in many aspects. After formalizing them, i. e. converting them into criteria, we can form a system that upon applying multi-criteria methods will allow us to carry out a complex assessment of the ecological development of a region. The objective of this article is to provide methods for the quantitative assessment of the ecological state of a country’s regions. Review of scientific literature, analysis of statistical data and the methods applied in the theory multiple criteria have been used for the research.

The article deals with theoretical and methodological issues of improving management sys-tems for innovative development. At the same time, special attention is paid to the issues of the impact of the achievements of scientific and technological progress on the transformation of patterns and principles of sub-stantiating effective innovative solutions in the paradigm of digitalization, digital transformation and globaliza-tion. It has been substantiated and proved that digitalization and digital transformation predetermined the need in the process of innovation to take into account such new patterns of development of innovation processes as turbulence, delocality, desynchronization, temporality, humanization, and a high level of corporate culture all participants in the innovation process.

Abstract. In the study, the neural basis of emotional reactivity was investigated. Reactivity was operationalized as the impact of emotional pictures on the self-reported ongoing affective state. It was used to divide the subjects into high- and low-responders groups. Independent sources of brain activity were identified, localized with the DIPFIT method, and clustered across subjects to analyse the visual evoked potentials to affective pictures. Four of the identified clusters revealed effects of reactivity. The earliest two started about 120 ms from the stimulus onset and were located in the occipital lobe and the right temporoparietal junction. Another two with a latency of 200 ms were found in the orbitofrontal and the right dorsolateral cortices. Additionally, differences in pre-stimulus alpha level over the visual cortex were observed between the groups. The attentional modulation of perceptual processes is proposed as an early source of emotional reactivity, which forms an automatic mechanism of affective control. The role of top-down processes in affective appraisal and, finally, the experience of ongoing emotional states is also discussed.
