The concept of competitiveness is a multidimensional and is closely related to the country‘s ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment. The growth of competitiveness depends on the main aspects of wage and employment, which is influenced by micro and macro factors. The objective of this article is to assess the link between the wage, employment and competitiveness. The following tasks have been implemented: to analyse the scientific literature about competitiveness and its fac-tors; to reveal the changes of wages and employment; to assess the impact of main factors on com-petitiveness. In the article, the following methods of analysis are used: an analysis and summarize of the scientific literature, analysis of the statistical data, correlation-regression analysis.

Nowadays wages are determined according to the results of the work but the increase of salaries leads to the higher productivity and efficient work. Here is a strong interaction between wage and productivity, which leads to the country’s competitiveness development. The object of research – the interactions be-tween the wage and productivity. The goal of the article is to assess the influence of wage and productivity on the country’s competitiveness. In addition, the following tasks have been implemented: to analyse the theoretical aspects of productivity and wage; to reveal the connection between productivity and wage and to assess the influence of this interaction on the country’s competitiveness. In this article, the following methods of analysis are used: an analysis and summarize of the scientific literature, the theoretical and practical statements matching method, analysis of the statistical data, correlation and regression analysis.

Ecological development is one of the three components of sustainable development. To be able to analyse the impact of economic and social development on the ecological situation of the region, ecological development has to be assessed using quantitative methods. The ecological development of a region can be seen as a complex integrated phenomenon observed in many aspects. After formalizing them, i. e. converting them into criteria, we can form a system that upon applying multi-criteria methods will allow us to carry out a complex assessment of the ecological development of a region. The objective of this article is to provide methods for the quantitative assessment of the ecological state of a country’s regions. Review of scientific literature, analysis of statistical data and the methods applied in the theory multiple criteria have been used for the research.

Securities market is an important part of financial market, which secure distribution and redistribution of financial recources between economic entities. The scientific literature indicates that there is mutual relation between development of the securities market and country’s economic development, i. e. when country’s economic indicators improve, then development of the securities market is more active, and conversely. Development of the securities market is exposed by a lot of indicators, including investors’ expectations. This article analyses the influence of investors’ expectations to the development of the Lithuania securities market. For the research used statistical data analysis and correlation regression analysis, which results demonstrate strong correlation between investor’s expectations and development of the Lithuania securities market. Santrauka Vertybinių popierių rinka – svarbi finansų rinkos dalis, užtikrinanti finansinių išteklių paskirstymą ir perskirstymą tarp ekonominių subjektų. Mokslinėje literatūroje nurodoma, kad tarp vertybinių popierių rinkos plėtros ir šalies ekonominio vystymosi susiformavo abipusis ryšys, t. y. gerėjant šalies ekonominiams rodikliams, aktyvėja ir vertybinių popierių rinka, ir atvirkščiai. Vertybinių popierių rinkos aktyvumą ir plėtrą lemia daugelis veiksnių, tarp jų ir investuotojų lūkesčiai. Šiame straipsnyje tiriamas investuotojų lūkesčių poveikis Lietuvos vertybinių popierių rinkos plėtrai. Analizei naudojami 2005–2017 m. duomenys, atspindintys investuotojų lūkesčius (ekonominių sentimentų rodiklis, Lietuvos investuotojų pasitikėjimo indeksas) ir Lietuvos vertybinių popierių rinkos plėtrą (OMX Vilnius indeksas, vertybinių popierių rinkos plėtros rodiklis). Tyrimui atlikti taikoma statistinė duomenų analizė ir koreliacinė regresinė analizė.

Changes in today’s global political, economic, demographic and cultural situation make the relations in society to get sophisticated. Legal and social responsibility becomes critical important in these processes. Because of their professional duties, police officers must be professionals with a very high level of responsibility. However, there is a lack of scientific researches with a particular reference to future police officers responsibility evaluation. This leads to the aim of this research: to evaluate legal and social responsibility of future police officers. The research was based on systematic and comparative scientific literature analysis and statistical data analysis. The study was conducted in 2011 and 2015 in one of Lithuanian universities. 102 recipients of the study program “Law and Police Activities” participated in the survey in 2011 and 109 – in 2015. It was found that students – future police officers feel legal as well as social responsibility. Although the greatest impact on the formation of respondents' responsibility had a family, the relevance of the university‘s contribution has grown from 2011 to 2015. It is also to notice that 66 % of respondents marked that they are legal responsible in 2011 and this proportion increased to 82 % in 2015. The obtained results will contribute in further investigations making analysis of future professionals’ responsibility and its factors.

The aim of the article was to present the reflections on the types of innovations implemented in enterprises from the automotive industry / Automotive / and the impact on the development of these enterprises. In connection with the above, the analysis of the literature and the Clarivate Analytics report, State of Innovation Report 2017: The Relentless Desire to Advance and The condition of the automotive industry and its role in the Polish economy, KPMG report in Poland at the initiative of the Polish Automotive Industry Association. The study also presents an overview of the definitions and types of innovations, in the aspect of subsectors and their impact on the development of the automotive industry. There are presented considerations regarding the type and degree in which enterprises implement innovative solutions that take place in the processes occurring on production lines as well as in the components themselves. In recent years, when technological progress has gained enormous pace, the right management of innovations has a significant impact on the future of the organization. It allows to strengthen the position of the company on the market, and often to gain a significant competitive advantage The article was prepared on the basis of literature analysis and statistical data.

Reverse e-logistics has proven to have high significance in terms of profits, customer satisfaction, competition, and performance’s efficiency. However, several firms in the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) e-commerce field, especially in developing countries such as those in the Middle East, still neglect its importance for the survival of the firm because they don’t know how to improve reverse e-logistics (REL) performance. Therefore, the objective of this article is to identify the main factors that impact reverse e-logistics’ performance and to analyze their effect. The methods used in this article are: scientific literature review, synthesis, questionnaires, and structural equation modelling. The study is done in Lebanon and Syria with a sample of 459 companies in the electronic industry who are engaged in B2C e-commerce and is faced with reverse e-logistics’ challenges. The estimated results prove the significant impact of the identified factors: customer satisfaction, guarantee, and organization structure on reverse e-logistics’ performance, which in turn has a significant impact on the efficiency of the performance of B2C companies engaged in reverse e-logistics activities as well.

Increasing competition as well as drastic and rapid changes within the market encourage the organizations to shift their focus to efficient operation at minimal expense. Organizations willing to become successful need to inspire their employees to work responsibility, demonstrate initiative and actively participate. The objective of this research is to identify the correlating factors of organizational culture and employee‘s motivation and anticipate the actions aimed at organizational culture strengthening and employee motivation improvement. To achieve this objective sources of scientific literature have been analysed and summarised and employees of two industrial companies have been surveyed. Goals of the research: to determine correlation between organizational culture and motivation and to create a correlation scheme; to identify employees’ attitudes towards organizational culture and to evaluate the impact of organizational culture on employees’ motivation; to anticipate the actions aimed at organizational culture strengthening and employee motivation improvement. On the grounds of the research results main factors determining correlation between organizational culture and motivation were identified and importance of congruence of employeesʼ and organization‘s values has been substantiated.

Direct payments are one of the most important measure of the Common Agricultural Policy because of majority financial resources allocated for them. Direct payments guarantee minimum income to agricultural producers because of fluctuation agricultural products price in the markets. Regarding relatively large financial resources, it important to assess the impact of direct payments to agricultural producers according to farm size and type of farming. The purpose of the paper is to assess the impact of direct payments to results of agricultural activity. The methods used are as follows: systematic analyses of scientific literature, comparison, generalization and graphical methods, regression analysis. In the paper the overview of scientific literature related to the impact of direct payments to agricultural producers, analysis of the influence of direct payments to agricultural activity both in EU countries, focusing the attention to Lithuanian agriculture is carried out. The results of regression analysis concerning the direct payments impact to different agricultural activity results according to the farm size and farming type are outlined.

TThe research objective was to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the macroeconomic situation in Poland. The research employed critical analysis of scientific literature and an analysis of statistical data. The first part of the article describes the channels through which the COVID-19 pandemic affects economy. The second part contains an analysis of changes in the mood of entrepreneurs, using monthly fluctuations of the indices measuring economic situation and consumer confidence, followed by an evaluation of Poland’s macroeconomic situation in the context of the developing COVID-19 pandemic. This evaluation was based on an analysis of quarterly data concerning changes in the GDP and its component parts, the labour market situation and changes in price indices from the first quarter of 2018 to the second quarter of 2021. The research results showed that the COVID -19 pandemic and the restrictions imposed by the Polish government caused negative consequences in the Polish economy. This is evidenced by the worse mood prevalent among entrepreneurs and consumers. Over the time period analysed, the macroeconomic situation of Poland was observed to have deteriorated as well, with the decreased rate of economic growth, higher unemployment rate and accelerated inflation processes.

Was Selected and analyzed literature about sound “L” correction among 5 – 6 years old children, about speech therapist work, about child’s language and speech development, was found out sound “L” pronouncation correction options for children with insufficient language system development at III level. Part was made questionnaire for speech therapists, to justify master’s work relevance. Author made situation research, made correction work, handle mathematically gained research data.Work author designed and recognised speech therapist methodical material about sound “L” correction for children with insufficient language system development at III level. Based on theoretical and research part scientific cognitions, was made speech therapist methodical material “Sound “L” pronouncation correction for 5 – 6 years old children with insufficient language system development at III level”. Methods used in the study: analysis of scientific literature; analysis of documents; questionnaire; observation; operational study; processing of statistical data; method of expert opinion.
