LIGHTSHIP WEIGHT ESTIMATION OF WIND FARM SUPPORT VESSELS AT THE INITIAL DESIGN STAGE

The issue of the determination of lightship weight estimates of wind farm support vessels (WFSV) is considered. The algorithm of determination of components of the lightship weight is suggested. The hull weight of the ships suggested to be calculated through the surface area of the principal structural elements using the parametrical model. The formula for calculation of weight and volume of the superstructures was obtained by making the 3D model of the superstructures of the most widespread projects of WFSV. Using the statistical data processing the dependences were obtained for the determination of engine, gearbox and waterjet weights, which are used in WFSV. The results of the comparative analysis of the lightship weight of WFSV are given.

Competence in an organization or company is important in supporting the performance produced by employees. The management of course will make efforts to increase the competence of its employees with the hope that the performance of the employees will make their work complete and the output produced is of high quality. Recognizing the importance of competence on performance, the authors helped by examining these variables. In this study the researchers collected data by distributing it to all employees at PT Batang Bumi Mandiri with a total of 25, of which the entire population will also be sampled because the sampling method used is the saturated sample technique. In processing this data used statistical data processing tools in the form of SPSS version 26 to assist the author in processing research data. The result of the research is that competence has an effect on performance. The competency variable also has a coefficient of determination of 16.5% to affect performance, while the remaining 83.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Land-use as a part of the earth’s surface used in an unitary manner, constitutes as one of the objects of Real Estate Cadastre in Poland. This register gathers data concerning actual grounds status, buildings and premises. Cadastre is carried out in an informational system on the basis of Geodetic and Cartographic Law and its implementing act. The contents of mentioned legal regulations are very general in terms of capturing and revealing data on ecological land-use. The rules are also related to environmental protection law. It often makes its proper interpretation difficult. In this article, the study aimed to systematize information about recording ecological land-uses in Polish Real Estate Cadastre has been performed. Practical and legal solutions concerning determination of the ecological land-uses coverage have been presented. The authors evaluate an order of individual activities leading to ecological land-use disclosure in cadastral database. The consequences and constraints in enforcing the ownership to land property or its parts where ecological land-use was allocated are analyzed as well. The statistical data in the scope of number and surface area of ecological land-uses in individual provinces have also been demonstrated.

AbstractThe loose material, falling freely on the flat area, creates a geometric object similar to the roof. This object, which is in fact an embankment, the authors described and examined in previous works. They stated that the top view of such an object is a flat diagram of Voronoi. In view of the need to enlarge the landfill by combining the existing disjoint embankments, the authors were encouraged to apply the results obtained in practice. They also provided a detailed methodology for creating such embankments. In particular, they used the standard version of AutoCAD software and built a 3D model of the landfill based on solid operations. This parametric approach to design enables the rapid determination of the volume and surface area and fits in the BIM technology of designing engineering objects.

Aim. To study the effect of different concentrations of ethylene glycol and glycerin in equilibration and vitrifi cation solutions on 1) the viability and further development of frozen-thawed bovine ovarian cumulus-oocyte complexes (COCs), cryopreserved by vitrifi cation method, 2) on the effectiveness of inseminating mature oocytes, obtained from them, and 3) on the formation of embryos. Methods. Biotechnological, cryobiological, morphological, cytogenetic, and statistical methods, as well as methods of statistical data processing were used in the research. Results. The results of experimental studies on the effect of different concentrations of ethylene glycol and glycerin in the equilibration solution during cryopreservation of bovine ovarian COCs (n = 502) on their viability and further development after freezing-thawing are presented. We also show the results of the comparative analysis of cryoresistant properties of bovine ovarian COCs (n = 560) using different concentrations of ethylene glycol and glycerin, as cryoprotectants, in the vitrifi cation solution in terms of the viability and maturation of the oocytes, which originated from these COCs, up to metaphase II of meiosis. A comparative analysis of the application of ethylene glycol and glycerol in differ- ent concentrations for the equilibration and vitrifi cation solutions in cryopreserving bovine ovarian COCs (n = 220) demonstrated a relationship between the level of concentration of these cryoprotectants and the number of embryos after in vitro insemination of mature gametes, obtained from these frozen-thawed COCs. Conclusions. It was found that the use of 25 % ethylene glycol and 5 % glycerin in the equilibration solution and 10 % ethylene glycol and 40 % glycerin in the vitrifi cation solution during cryopreservation of bovine ovarian COCs ensures lower toxicity of these solutions and promotes more effi cient (up to 14.3 %) formation and development of embryos after in vitro insemina- tion of mature gametes, obtained from these COCs

Processes of error accumulation were analysed during arithmetic operations on statistical data obtained in the course of research on oscillations in cross-field electron vacuum devices. The features of statistical data processing obtained as a result of experimental research were investigated using the most widespread computer mathematical packages. The features of statistical data processing were investigated by processing a sample of 80 values of the magnetron generation frequency using popular mathematical packages Excel, Maple, Matlab and MathCad and comparing the results obtained with calculations using theoretical formulas. Calculation results for all packages give the same results for mean, variance and standard deviation. As for the coefficients of skewness and kurtosis, most of the results do not coincide. Analysis of the calculation results showed that the difference in the obtained values ​​of the skewness and kurtosis is due to different definitions of these indicators in mathematical packages Excel, Maple, Matlab and MathCad. It is proved that in Microsoft Excel we cannot correctly construct a histogram without using additional operations, because the interval limits are calculated with errors. It leads to an incorrect determination of the number of elements into these intervals. To build correctly a histogram using the Excel package, it is necessary to calculate the interval limits in advance. It is concluded that before using computer mathematical packages for processing statistical data, it is necessary to analyze first by what formulas the required parameters are calculated and take appropriate measures to eliminate possible discrepancies with the parameters calculated using theoretical formulas.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the applicability of modern software for design-projecting of models of jewelry on the example of creation of a 3D model of a flat medallion; such process of creation includes the following steps: development of an algorithm; check for the errors; determination of the main characteristics. When conducting the researches, a set of general scientific approaches has been used, in particular: visual-analytical and system-informational approaches, modern methods of analysis of mechanical systems, as well as the method of classifications. The programs for three-dimensional modeling are listed; the peculiarities of their use and their functional possibilities are revealed. Based on the analysis of peculiarities of design-projecting of jewelry, the applicability of modern software is identified, in particular, the applicability of Rhinoceros 3D commercial software for three-dimensional NURBS-modeling. The development of engineering methods of designing of jewelry. The comparative analysis of programs for design-projecting of jewelry is performed. The proposed algorithm for creation of 3D model of a flat medallion using the Rhinoceros 3D software for three-dimensional NURBS-modeling is described. A standard algorithm for the creation of a 3D model of a flat medallion is developed. The recommendations regarding the use of Rhinoceros 3D software for three-dimensional NURBS-modeling in jewelry are made.

One of the most complex forensic examinations is the determination of the correct medical care. The aim of the study was an analysis of medical records of patients in the cases of divergence of clinical and forensic diagnoses on the main complications and to identify the main causes of incorrect diagnosis established in a hospital of ambulance medical care for the 2006- 2012. Expert assessment of mortality General Hospital was carried out after statistical data processing, including a more detailed study of patient care. In particular, stood out the reasons of incorrectly clinical diagnosis, cases of discrepancy of the main clinical diagnosis with forensic diagnosis were compared in cases of injury, disease or poisoning. After that evaluated medical care, including medical treatment, which was prescribed by a doctor. These data were compared with those which medical aid was really necessary in patients with considering the immediate cause of death.
