El artículo tiene como objetivo presentar las formas en que las mujeres rompen cotidianidades y comienzan a tejer redes con otras mujeres, a fin de fortalecer su presencia en el espacio público-político. A través de una propuesta del proceso de empoderamiento en grados (afectivo, familiar, dialógico, laboral, económico, político y legal) se considera mostrar algunas estrategias que van marcando características que les permiten posicionarse en los espacios en que se movilizan. En esta lógica, se analiza primeramente las diversas concepciones sobre la categoría empoderamiento como fundamento del trabajo empírico posterior. El contexto de estudio es la Asociación de Madres Solteras Unidas de Sinaloa que cuenta con 15 coordinaciones, una de ellas ubicada en Elota, en la Cruz, Sinaloa, en donde se impartieron talleres y mediante la técnica de observación se seleccionaron intencionalmente a dos mujeres a quienes se les realizo una entrevista episódica.The article aims to present the ways in which women break everyday life and begin to weave networks with other women, in order to strengthen their presence in the publicpolitical space. Through a proposal of the process of empowerment in degrees (affective, family, dialogic, labor, economic, political and legal) it is considered to show some strategies that are marking characteristics that allow them to position themselves in the spaces in which they are mobilized. In this logic, the different conceptions about the category empowerment as the basis for later empirical work are analyzed first. The study context is the Association of United Single Mothers of Sinaloa which has 15 coordinations, one of them located in Elota, in La Cruz, Sinaloa, where workshops were held and by means of the observation technique two women were intentionally selected to who had an episodic interview.

Estudo bibliográfico que visa compreender a experiência existencial no pensamento freiriano, atentando para três questões principais: 1. Em que consiste a experiência existencial em Freire? 2. Por que ela é fundamental ao trabalho que pretende ser realmente educativo? 3. Por que a experiência existencial, como princípio educativo, e educação bancária não se correspondem? Esses questionamentos conduziram ao aprofundamento do conceito, em torno do qual gravitam outras noções básicas da Pedagogia da Humanização. Pautada na educabilidade dos homens e das mulheres e no seu inacabamento, a teoria freiriana é esperançosa, amorosa em relação ao mundo. Trata-se de uma contínua busca da conscientização e libertação humana em relação ao império de ações afogadoras de suas experiências reais, desrespeitando homens e mulheres como intérpretes insofismáveis de sua própria existência. O modo existencial de viver é próprio aos humanos, configurando-se na busca de ser com os outros, possibilitando a comunicação, a convivência e a experiência compartilhada realizada na mediação das ações em torno do mundo. Na imediata leitura de mundo é que reside a experiência existencial primária e fundamental dos humanos, em que se experimenta o existir inédito e se apreende subjetivamente a realidade. Para o autor, é impossível a educação que desconsidere a cotidianidade transcorrida nessa esfera existencial. Por fim, a situação, que se constitui num dos aspectos indispensáveis relacionados à experiência existencial, não se constituem aspecto caro aos agentes educativos bancários que apresentam sua proposta em pauta pronta, padronizada, montada sobre premissas fixas cujos questionamentos são tidos por improdutivos.Palavras-chave: Experiência. What is the existential experience in Freire? 2. Why is it fundamental to work that is meant to be truly educational? 3. Why do existential experience, as an educational principle, and banking education, do not correspond? These questions led to the deepening of the concept, around which basic notions of the Pedagogy of Humanization gravitate. Based on the educability of men and women and their incompleteness, the Freirian theory is hopeful, loving towards the world. It is a continuous search for human awareness and liberation in relation to the empire of drowning actions of their real experiences, disrespecting men and women as unmistakable interpreters of their own existence. The existential way of living is proper to humans, configuring itself in the search of being with others, enabling the communication, the coexistence and the shared experience realized in the mediation of the actions around the world. In the immediate reading of the world lies the primary and existential experience as humans, in which one experiences the unprecedented existence and subjectively grasps reality. For the author, it is impossible education that disregards the everyday life passed in this existential sphere. Finally, the situation, which constitutes one of the indispensable aspects related to existential experience, does not constitute an important aspect for the banking educational agents who present their proposal according to a ready agenda, standardized, based on fixed premises whose questions are considered as unproductive.Keywords: Experience. Para el autor, es imposible la educación que desconsidere la cotidianidad transcurrida en esa esfera existencial. Por último, la situación, que se constituye en uno de los aspectos indispensables relacionados con la experiencia existencial, no se constituye en un aspecto caro a los agentes educativos bancários que presentan su propuesta en pauta acabada, estandarizada, montada sobre premisas fijas cuyos cuestionamientos son considerados por improductivos.Palabras clave: Experiencia. Experiência vivenciada durante um pequeno trabalho empírico realizado no Largo da Graça, em Salvador-BA, motivou este artigo que apresenta o estudo aprofundado com novas pesquisas, várias visitas ao local, entrevistas e fotos, como técnicas de observação direta da realidade. Mas, qual método deveria seguir para apreender a essência do espaço em questão? Seguindo uma ponderação de Júlia Adão Bernardes, caminhei sem caminho, esperando tê-lo feito ao final do trabalho. Sistematizei e racionalizei as atividades, para obter um conhecimento válido da área; procedi a investigações e análises de fatos, processos e instituições do passado, que interagiram com entrevistas qualitativas sobre o cotidiano dos frequentadores, moradores e trabalhadores do local. Transformou-se minha percepção do Largo da Graça, de um espaço apenas percebido, para um espaço vivido, um espaço público diferenciado por sua concretude e por práticas cotidianas e dinâmicas sociais que nele se desenvolvem. Abstract GRAÇA SQUARE IN SALVADOR – BA: A “NEW” PERCEPTION The experience undertaken along an empirical work at Largo da Graça (Graça Square), in Salvador, Bahia, motivated this article which presents a deep study with new researches, local visits, interviews and pictures, as a reality direct observation technique. But, which method to adopt in order to learn the essence of the studied space? Following a thought by Júlia Adão Bernardes, I strayed without a trail, expecting to have trailed it at the end of the work. The activities were systematized and rationalized in order to lead to a valid knowledge of the area; I proceeded the investigations and analysis of the facts, processes and institutions of the past, which interacted with the qualitative interviews on the local workers, inhabitants and visitors everyday life. My perception of the Largo da Graça has changed from a simply perceived to a lived space, a differentiated public space, through its concreteness and the daily practices and social dynamics there occurring.



Identities are a part of the very fabric of life. Identities in Everyday Life focuses on how identity theory in social psychology can help us understand a wide array of issues across six areas of life, including psychological well-being; authenticity; morality; gender, race, and sexuality; group membership; and early to later adult identities. The research in this volume is from the second biannual conference on identity theory that brought together over 45 scholars who presented original theoretical or empirical work that demonstrates how identity theory provides a framework to explain everyday life experiences. The chapters build upon prior work to understand the source, development, and dynamics of individuals’ identities as they unfold within and across situations. The studies not only advance scholarly research on identities, but they also provide an understanding of the relevance of identities for people’s everyday lives. The findings are relevant to a broad-based set of researchers in the academy across disciplines in the social sciences, education, and health; to students at both the graduate and undergraduate level who are interested in identities at both a personal and professional level; to mental health professionals; and to the average person in society.

Orphans of Living Fathers Summary In the course of the last decades, the phenomenon of orphans with living fathers has occured in the Euro-American civilisation as we are witnessing a rising number of children growing up without the presence of the father. In some cases it is the result of mother’s deliberate choice (single mothers), in other cases no direct intention is involved as with the divorced mothers, The above situation occurs also in the seemingly functional families, where fathers only have a small share in the upbringing of the children. It seems that the problem begins with the birth of the child who consumes 80% of the mother’s emotional resources. As a result, the woman is not able to give her partner as much affection as she used to, which makes him feel pushed away. In many cases this challenging situation makes the man start perceiving and living the sex life in a sort of materialistic way, which is followed by the wife’s natural reaction i.e. sexual life becomes a burden to her. Fortunately, this is not an unavoidable scenario as there exists an alternative – the possibility to keep developing the tenderness within the marital relationship. On the man’s side this alternative type of tenderness takes on the form of empathy, a concrete attention and care for his wife and child. In order to develop in a healthy way, every child needs to experience the motherly and fatherly love in equal measure and the mutual love between the parents that guarantees a stable and secure home for them. If parents start to perceive God as a loving Father who shows them His tenderness and love, it is the response to His generous offer and the invitation to personal conversion at the same time. God’s tenderness is clearly attested in both Old and New Testament. It is evident from His actions through which He proves to be a caring and tender Father who shows gratuitous love to His children. In the image of such God the humans have been created as male and female. Biblical texts provide numerous examples of these divine traits that can be transformed in everyday life behaviour and attitudes by the spouses in the same way as Jewish families have linked these two realms during the Passover meal and in their everyday life. To sum up, tenderness is a chance to ensure the stability of Catholic families and save their children from becoming the orphans of living fathers.

The research that provides the basis of this volume involves theoretical and empirical work on identities in everyday life. The work is divided into six areas, including psychological well-being; authenticity; morality; gender, racial, and sexuality issues; identities and groups; and identities over the life course. Among the many findings are that: (1) when people accumulate identities that are verified, they feel good about themselves; (2) individuals think carefully about what to include and exclude over social media to present an authentic view of themselves; (3) people can claim a high moral identity and still behave immorally by relying on strategies that disengage them from their immoral behavior; (4) having a prominent white identity may produce a preference for white spaces and networks; (5) those who engage in protests can formulate an activist identity by identifying with other participants; and (6) other individuals are very important in helping to shape our identities in adulthood.

This research analyzes the female stereotypes presented in graphic advertisements for luxury fashion, perfume, and cosmetic brands in Spain. It identifies the beauty stereotypes with which women are portrayed. This empirical work represents a continuation of the studies carried out by Díaz-Soloaga since 2005, to analyze the evolution of the representation of women in graphic advertising. Content analysis of 168 advertisements published in the fashion titles Elle, Glamour, Telva, Vogue, and Woman Madame Figaro was carried out. The main result was the observation of six female profiles that are remarkably similar to those identified in previous studies, thus confirming the permanence of the same beauty stereotypes. Although some progress is observed, advertising of luxury fashion, perfume, and cosmetic brands continues to display stereotypes that contribute to an inaccurate image of women. It is paradoxical that, in the context of current feminine demands, instead of empowering their audience, fashion magazines contribute to their pigeonholing using dependent, narcissistic, and highly sexualized images. Resumen Esta investigación analiza los estereotipos femeninos presentes en anuncios gráficos de marcas de lujo de moda, perfume y cosmética en España. Se identifican, también, estereotipos de belleza con los que se representa a las mujeres. Este trabajo empírico es una continuación de los estudios que Díaz-Soloaga viene realizando desde 2005, analizando la evolución en la representación de la mujer en la publicidad gráfica. Se llevó a cabo un análisis de contenido de 168 anuncios publicados en las cabeceras de moda Elle, Glamour, Telva, Vogue y Woman Madame Figaro. Como principal resultado se obtuvieron seis perfiles femeninos muy similares a los identificados en anteriores estudios, al tiempo que se confirmó la permanencia de los estereotipos de belleza. Aunque se observan avances, la publicidad gráfica de marcas de lujo de moda, perfume y cosmética continúa mostrando modelos que contribuyen a alimentar una imagen inexacta de la mujer. Resulta paradójico que, en el contexto de reivindicación femenina actual, en lugar de empoderar a su audiencia las cabeceras de moda contribuyan a encasillarla en una imagen dependiente, narcisista y muy sexualizada.

O artigo problematiza a produção audiovisual destinada ao público infantil na TV. Toma como marco teórico os estudos de gênero que trabalham os conceitos de alteridade e diversidade e estudos sobre os processos de inserção da televisão e dos conteúdos audiovisuais na vida cotidiana (Raymond Williams). A partir da análise de conteúdo das obras audiovisuais Show da Luna e Miss Moon, elencou como categorias o protagonismo feminino, as representações das meninas/mulheres em suas distintas gerações, os papeis sociais que ocupam e a solidariedade entre as mulheres em distintas gerações. Conclui-se que as obras trazem aspectos que contribuem para a quebra de estereótipos com novas perspectivas de família e com a mulher ocupando papeis sociais distintos dos tradicionalmente imputados a ela, mas subliminarmente podem ocultar novos estereótipos que culpabilizam a mulher quando, por exemplo, trabalhar fora, ou que reforçam a competição entre as mulheres, o que não favorece o enfrentamento das desigualdades nas sociedades.   PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Produção audiovisual infantil. TV paga. Igualdade de gêneros. Protagonismo feminino. Distintas gerações de mulheres.     ABSTRACT The article discusses the audiovisual production aimed at children on pay-TV. On the theoretical basis gender studies who work the concepts of otherness and diversity and studies about the processes of integration of TV and audiovisual content in everyday life (Raymond Williams), from the analysis of content of audiovisual works Show da Luna and Miss Moon, presented as categories of analysis the female role, the representations of girls/women in different generations, the social roles they occupy and solidarity between women in different generations. It is concluded that this works bring aspects that contribute to the breaking down of stereotypes with new perspectives of family and with woman occupying social roles other than those traditionally ascribed to her, but subliminally can hide new stereotypes that put blame on woman when, for example, works out, or to reinforce the competition between the women, which does not contribute to the fight against inequalities in societies.   KEYWORDS: Children's audiovisual production. Por la base teórica de estudios de género que trabajan los conceptos de alteridad y diversidad y estudios sobre los procesos de integración de televisión y contenidos audiovisuales en la vida cotidiana (Raymond Williams), a partir del análisis de contenido de las obras audiovisuales Show da Luna y Miss Moon, presenta como categorías de análisis el papel femenino, las representaciones de las niñas y mujeres de diferentes generaciones, los roles sociales que ocupan y la solidaridad entre mujeres de diferentes generaciones. Se concluye que las obras traen aspectos que contribuyen a la ruptura de los estereotipos con nuevas perspectivas de la familia y con la mujer ocupando roles sociales distintos de los tradicionalmente atribuido a ella, pero subliminalmente pueden ocultar nuevos estereotipos que culpan la mujer cuando, por ejemplo, trabaja fuera, o para reforzar la competición entre las mujeres, lo que no contribuye a la lucha contra las desigualdades en las sociedades.   PALABRAS CLAVE: Producción audiovisual para niños. Resumen: Este artículo analiza la implementación del proceso de reincorporación de los y las excombatientes de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia-Ejército del Pueblo (FARC- EP) en los antiguos espacios territoriales de capacitación y reincorporación (ETCR) de Pondores y Tierra Grata en el caribe colombiano. Para ello, en el texto se examina el incumplimiento de los acuerdos, los obstáculos que los y las excombatientes junto con sus familias deben enfrentar cada día, y las estrategias que las exguerrilleras adoptan en su lucha por la producción de común y la reproducción material y simbólica de la vida colectiva. FARC-EP Female Former Fighters’ Struggle for the Reproduction of Collective Life in Pondores and Tierra Grata Abstract: This article analyzes the implementation of the reincorporation process of ex-combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People’s Army (FA <<RC-EP) in the former Ter- ritorial Spaces for Training and Reincorporation (ETCR) of Pondores and Tierra Grata in the Caribbean region of Colombia. For this, in the text, examines the failure to implement the contents of the agreement, the obstacles that the ex-combatants and their families face in their territories, and the strategies that ex-guerrilla women use in their everyday life struggle to produce the commons as well as the material and symbolic reproduction of collective life.
