The success of the educational process mediated by technology depends largely on the adoption and use of digital technology (TD) by teachers, from this current a multivariate diagnosis is presented on the level of adoption and use of TD, through the moderating effect of gender and age variables, the study was conducted with a sample of 280 university teachers who responded to the questionnaire called TAUT consisting of 46 Likert scale type items in 5 dimensions. The methodology applied in the study is quantitative based on the non-experimental, descriptive and inferential method, the data were analyzed from a comparison of means, using non-parametric tests. The results are shown by means of the TAUT self-evaluating the adoption and use of the TD by the teaching staff, the same that manage to have a positive acceptance in all the dimensions, as well as allowing to know that there are no significant differences in most of the items according to gender and age, the same that do not affect the intention of the teaching staff behavior to adopt and use the TD.

Introduction. The institutionalisation of inclusion in higher education determines new requirements for university teachers, what is also found in the field of psychological readiness for the implementation of the educational process with the participation of students with disabilities. Aim. The present research was aimed to develop theoretical framework and experimental verification of the model of psychological readiness of academic teaching staff for the implementation of an inclusive educational process. Methodology and research methods. Methodologically, the research was based on the idea that the true implementation of inclusive higher education is conditioned by the formation of an inclusive culture of university teachers, which serves as the foundation for the implementation of inclusive practices and policies and one of the immanent attributes of which is psychological readiness to implement the educational process with the participation of disabled students. In the diagnostic and methodological terms, the current study relied on the authors' questionnaire containing the blocks of questions built using a 5-point Likert scale and characterising the severity of the various components of such readiness among university teachers in relation to working with disabled students of diverse nosological groups. The survey results were analysed qualitatively and quantitatively using the Cronbach Alpha coefficient, Shapiro-Wilk, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Mann-Whitney tests, and the median test applying the Pearson test. To check the consistency of the proposed theoretical model of the psychological readiness of university teachers to implement an inclusive educational process, structural equation modelling (or SEM - the method of asymptotically non-parametric assessment) was employed. For statistical calculations, the program IBM SPSS Statistics ver.23 and the AMOS module were used. Results. The integrative model of the psychological readiness of faculty for the implementation of an inclusive educational process has been theoretically substantiated and experimentally confirmed. This model includes a motivational-value component (the acceptance of the values of an inclusive culture, beliefs and attitudes of the teacher regarding inclusive education), an affective component (the emotional acceptance of the situation of inclusive education and its subjects) and an operational component (the teacher's assessment of own skills in using the tools of inclusive education). In the presented model, the teacher's methodical preparedness for teaching students with disabilities acts as a cognitive component, and the resulting component is the implementation of inclusive practice based on the willingness and ability to interact with students with disabilities. It was found that, to the greatest extent, university teachers have formed a motivational readiness to implement inclusive education, but they experience a deficit of operational skills, when working with students with disabilities. At the same time, the level of psychological readiness to implement an inclusive educational process significantly differs depending on the subject specialisation of teachers and the presence / absence of previous experience of interaction with people with disabilities. Scientific novelty. The model of the psychological readiness of teachers for the implementation of inclusive education in Russia was developed and empirically confirmed. Practical significance. The findings of this research highlight the significance of the stages of the formation of university teachers' psychological readiness for inclusive education. The following stages are determined: from providing basic methodological readiness in the framework of professional development through the creation of internal conditions for readiness for inclusive education, examining the experiences and psychological difficulties in interacting with people with disabilities, and, finally, to accompanying the actual inclusive teaching practice.

Purpose An indoor office space should not only provide adequate illuminance on horizontal planes but also cater to the physiological and psychological requirements of the occupants. This paper aims to describe a lighting simulation-based work conducted in Kolkata, India which modeled an indoor office to investigate the effects of variation in room surface reflectance combinations on user perception, mean room surface exitance (MRSE), average horizontal illuminance and overall uniformity of horizontal illuminance. Design/methodology/approach A fluorescent illumination system–based office space was modeled and retrofitted with tubular LED lamps in DIALux. Simulations were conducted for 16 different room surface reflectance combinations and a five-point Likert scale-type survey questionnaire was formulated to conduct a survey with 32 test subjects to assess the subjective preferability of each resultant light scene. Findings Simulation results demonstrate that the relationship between average horizontal illuminance and MRSE as well as between average horizontal illuminance and overall uniformity of horizontal illuminance, was statistically significant (p < 0.001). In the conducted survey, the resultant light scene arising out of the reflectance combination of wall:ceiling:floor = 60%:90%:20% was the most well-received one with 187 convinced agreements (“agree” and “strongly agree” responses). Originality/value This work found strong linear correlation between average horizontal illuminance and MRSE and between average horizontal illuminance and overall uniformity. A five-point Likert scale-type survey questionnaire with seven questions was formulated and validated with 32 test subjects (Cronbach’s alpha > 0.9295), which showed that the wall:ceiling:floor reflectance combination of 60%:90%:20% was the most favored choice.

Introduction. The COVID-19 pandemic may have hit the education industry the hardest, but the socio-psychological effects of quarantine are still poorly understood. A group of scientists from the Ukrainian SMC of practical psychology and social work of the NAES of Ukraine has conducted a study of the socio-psychological problems that have arisen for teaching staff of general secondary education establishments in the context of the pandemic. Purpose. The research was carried out during the implementation of the scientific topic «Overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the activities of the psychological service of the educational system» on the order of the National Research Fund of Ukraine. Design\approach\methodology. The study was conducted by interviewing educators through Google forms. Most of the questions contained a 10-step scale. In processing the data, all respondents’ answers were grouped into 5 categories: "yes", "more likely to", "more likely not", "no", "don’t know/it’s hard to say". The survey was attended by 3,209 teaching staff from general secondary education institutions from all regions of Ukraine, 45% from urban areas, 55% from rural areas; among which 92% were women and 8% were men. Results. Among the results, researchers highlighted the difficulties and fears of educators caused by the pandemic. The fears and complexities of the profession were distributed as follows. 1. The fear of getting infected (infecting family members) is common to 78.2% of the surveyed. 40.9% of the interviewed felt this fear to the greatest extent. However, 9.3% found those fears irrelevant. 2. Problems associated with the use of ICT in educational activities (lack of competence) — 53.2%. Among those, 22.2% have major difficulties and 31% have minor difficulties. Only 15.7% consider themselves fully competent. 3. 73% of educators noted difficulties in involving children in distance learning. This was the main problem for 12.8% of respondents. 4. «It is difficult to adhere to all anti-epidemic requirements in an educational institution to protect students» — 69.5% stated that this is one of the most significant problems of professional activity. 5. Emotional exhaustion, loss of emotional balance, excessive fatigue. 58.7% said that the problem was significant, of which almost 18% said it was very significant. 6. 51.1% of respondents indicated that they were unable to communicate with students' parents regarding monitoring the quality of their students' knowledge. Of these, 8.7% rated it with the highest score. 7. Health related difficulties (consequential of COVID-19). 31.2% of educators consider this problem to be relevant, while 8.9% rated it as very relevant. 30.4% of those interviewed denied the existence of such a problem. Conclusions Taking into account the results of the study, the most relevant areas in the work of the psychologists in the educational system are the following: ● prevention among educators and students of the COVID-bullying; ● working with negative emotional states of participants in the educational process and increasing their stress tolerance; ● providing socio-educational assistance to children and families in difficult life situations, and forming positive life prospects.
