Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model bahan ajar muatan lokal (mulok) berbasis cerita rakyat untuk pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan model Borg dan Gall. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi studi pendahuluan, penyusunan draft, penilaian pakar dan pengguna, dan uji lapangan. Penilaian dari pakar dan pengguna menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar mulok berbasis cerita rakyat memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Penilaian kelayakan difokuskan pada empat komponen, yaitu isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafikan, dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 78,91%. Efektivitas didasarkan pada nilai hasil uji coba lapangan dengan mengacu pada kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) mata pelajaran mulok, yakni 65. Nilai hasil uji coba lapangan mencapai rata-rata 71,74 dengan ketuntasan sekolah secara klasikal. Capaian nilai rata-rata siswa yang lebih tinggi dari nilai KKM menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikem­ bangkan efektif sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mulok.Kata kunci: efektivitas, bahan ajar mulok, cerita rakyat, pendidikan karakter A MODEL OF LOCAL CONTENT LEARNING MATERIALS BASED ON FOLKLORES FOR CHARACTER EDUCATION AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLSAbstractThis study aimed to design a model of local content learning materials based on folklores for character education. This was a research and development study using Borg and Gall’s model. The steps were a preliminary study, draft designing, expert and user assessments, and a field tryout. The results of expert and user assessments showed that the developed materials satisfied the appropriateness criteria. The appropriateness assessments were focused on four components, namely content, language, presentation, and graphics, of which the average was 78.91%. The effectiveness was based on the mean score from the field tryout by referring to the minimum mastery criterion (MMC) for a local content subject, namely 65. The result of the field tryout was indicated by a mean score of 71.74 for the school mastery as a whole. The students’ average achievement which was higher than the MMC indicated that the learning materials were effective so that they were appropriate for use in the local content learning process.Keywords: effectiveness, local content learning materials, folklores, character education

This study uses a qualitative case study approach, which is a study that aims to describe a condition that is happening in the real world. The research procedure adopted the case study research procedure by Yin which includes (1) design the case study protocol; (2) Conduct the case study; (3) Analyze case study evidence: and (4) Develop conclusions, recommendations, and implications based on the evidence. The subjects of this study were elementary school teachers and students, and school documents were examined related to the maintenance of Balinese culture and language through local content carried out in schools. The data collection technique was carried out by structured interviews using interview guidelines related to maintaining Balinese language culture and Balinese local content. Observations were made with a participatory observation approach, and documentation studies were carried out by collecting documents related to the maintenance of Balinese culture and Balinese language in schools. Qualitative data analysis techniques began with grouping data based on primary data sources and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the application of local content in elementary schools is one of the contents that can be used in maintaining, preserving and preserving the Balinese language culture in schools. The results of surveys, observations and interviews at SD Buleleng indicate that the maintenance of Balinese culture and language has many weaknesses, seen from the use of local languages that are not used in communication and Balinese culture which is fading due to the influence of other cultures. This can be seen in the language used in schools not using Balinese in daily communication in the sense that many do not understand the meaning of the Balinese language used because SOR is Singgih Bahasa. The results of study have and important implication to the teaching learning contents of Balinese language in elementary school in Bali, Indoensia.

Moral setbacks that occur in adolescent level students experience a significant increase, not infrequently these events occur in the world of education in Indonesia. Strengthening character education is one way to reduce the effects of moral loss on students. So that the character values must be built in accordance with religious teachings and which have been determined by the government such as religiosity, mutual cooperation, independence, national and integrity. These values can be included in school programs through the integration of intraculicular, kokulikuler and extracurricular integration. In this study focuses on strengthening the existing character education in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Park by including character habituation through local content learning, extracurricular activities and habituation activities. So it can be ensured that all student activities are based on strengthening character education. This study uses descriptive-qualitative research which results of the research are a translation of the sources obtained in the form of written and oral data and environmental observations.

The wise proper efforts to preserve the local wisdom of Minangkabau culture in West Sumatra are through offering the Minangkabau natural culture as a local content subject in schools. This subject has been taught for almost twenty years. However, the results of teaching this subject do not meet the expectation. To make this subject as a way to preserve the local wisdom, the stake holders should have the strong commitment in improving the teaching and learning process through providing the learning equipments that are relevant with the advance of technology, preparing professional teachers, proving good examples from both parents and society, and teaching and using Minangkabau language as the learning materials and the medium of istruction in the process of teaching and learning Keywords: Minangkabau Culture, Local Wisdom. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor determinan dalam implementasi kurikulum. Pengkajian terhadap implementasi kurikulum sangat penting termasuk pada kurikulum muatan lokal dengan karakteristik kedaerahannya. Peran muatan lokal dalam mengangkat kembali nilai, kearifan lokal, dan kekayaan budaya perlu senantiasa dicermati untuk melihat relevansinya dalam era globalisasi. Faktor-faktor determinan yang menjadi kajian utama penelitian ini adalah persepsi guru terhadap implementasi kurikulum muatan lokal, pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal yang dilakukan guru, dan dukungan terhadap guru dalam implementasi kurikulum muatan lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran muatan lokal, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel guru terpilih diminta menyatakan sikap dan pendapatnya terkait variabel penelitian melalui pengisian instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner tertutup, dengan skala Likert. Teknik uji instrumen yang digunakan adalah uji keterpahaman, validitas, dan reliabilitas. Data yang berhasil dihimpun kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis persentase dan uji t. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mendeskripsikan kondisi faktor-faktor determinan dalam implementasi kurikulum muatan lokal di lapangan. Sebagai rekomendasi, persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran sebaiknya ditingkatkan, terutama keyakinan dalam diri guru untuk melandasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang terstruktur agar berdampak positif bagi siswa. Dukungan stakeholder pun berimplikasi signifikan terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal sehingga perlu dijamin keberadaannya.  Kata kunci:     faktor-faktor determinan, implementasi kurikulum, persepsi guru, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dukungan.   ANALYSIS OF DETERMINANT FACTORS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LOCAL CONTENT CURRICULUM  Abstract:This study aims to analyze the determinant factors in curriculum implementation. Research on local content curriculum is very important with its regional characteristics. Its role in raising values, local wisdom, and cultural wealth needs to be constantly examined to see its relevance in the era of globalization. Determinant factors that became the main study of this research were teachers' perceptions of local content curriculum implementation, the local content learning conducted by teachers, and support to teachers in the implementation of the local content curriculum. This research uses survey method with quantitative approach. The research sample was the local subject matter teachers, selected using random sampling technique. Selected teacher samples are asked to state their tendencies and opinions related to research variables by filling the research instrument in the form of a closed questionnaire, with a Likert scale. The instrument testing technique used is comprehension, validity, and reliability test. Data collected is then analyzed using percentage analysis and independent-samples t-test. The results of this research are expected to describe the condition of determinant factors in the implementation of local content curriculum in the field. As a recommendation, teachers' perceptions of learning should be improved, especially teachers beliefs to underpin the implementation of structured learning in order to positively impact students. Metode yangdigunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan melibatkan 15 guru bahasa Inggris sekolahdasar yang dipilih secara acak dari dua klaster, yakni pusat kota dan daerah pinggirankota. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil dan pembahasan meliputiprofil guru bahasa Inggris, persepsi, dan praktik pemilihan dan pengembangan bahanajar bahasa Inggris untuk sekolah dasar. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsiguru bahasa Inggris sekolah dasar memiliki kesesuaian dengan praktik yang merekalakukan dalam pemilihan dan pengembangan bahan ajar.Kata kunci: persepsi dan praktik pembelajaran, pemilihan dan pengembangan materipembelajaranand setting

The appropriate selection of learning media can help the process of delivering messages from teachers to students become more effective. The selection of the right learning media requires the use of certain principles and criteria to be precise in choosing a learning medium because each learning medium should have different characteristics and specifications of usefulness. This study aims to conduct a summative evaluation of the appropriate selection of local wetland content learning media in junior high schools (SMP) in Banjarmasin. The appropriate selection of learning media will be evaluated with a summative model are all subjects containing local content of wetlands, such as in science & social subjects found by researchers in junior high schools in Banjarmasin through population methods and samples using purposive random sampling techniques as many as 5 junior high schools in Banjarmasin. Data analysis techniques in the evaluation of summative models are conducted descriptively-qualitatively using principle models and criteria used to evaluate the appropriateness of selection of local content learning media wetlands consisting of four components, namely: conformity with the material, conformity with student characteristics, conformity with the student's learning style, and conformity with supporting facilities. The results showed that the mapping appropriate of the selection of local wetland content learning media in junior high schools in Banjarmasin has met four criteria for appropriate choosing the right learning media with good categories. Recommendations of the results of the study evaluation of the appropriate selection of learning media can be tested in other schools to see the evaluation of the appropriate selection of online or remote learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic.
