Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model bahan ajar muatan lokal (mulok) berbasis cerita rakyat untuk pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan model Borg dan Gall. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi studi pendahuluan, penyusunan draft, penilaian pakar dan pengguna, dan uji lapangan. Penilaian dari pakar dan pengguna menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar mulok berbasis cerita rakyat memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Penilaian kelayakan difokuskan pada empat komponen, yaitu isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafikan, dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 78,91%. Efektivitas didasarkan pada nilai hasil uji coba lapangan dengan mengacu pada kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) mata pelajaran mulok, yakni 65. Nilai hasil uji coba lapangan mencapai rata-rata 71,74 dengan ketuntasan sekolah secara klasikal. Capaian nilai rata-rata siswa yang lebih tinggi dari nilai KKM menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikem­ bangkan efektif sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mulok.Kata kunci: efektivitas, bahan ajar mulok, cerita rakyat, pendidikan karakter A MODEL OF LOCAL CONTENT LEARNING MATERIALS BASED ON FOLKLORES FOR CHARACTER EDUCATION AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLSAbstractThis study aimed to design a model of local content learning materials based on folklores for character education. This was a research and development study using Borg and Gall’s model. The steps were a preliminary study, draft designing, expert and user assessments, and a field tryout. The results of expert and user assessments showed that the developed materials satisfied the appropriateness criteria. The appropriateness assessments were focused on four components, namely content, language, presentation, and graphics, of which the average was 78.91%. The effectiveness was based on the mean score from the field tryout by referring to the minimum mastery criterion (MMC) for a local content subject, namely 65. The result of the field tryout was indicated by a mean score of 71.74 for the school mastery as a whole. The students’ average achievement which was higher than the MMC indicated that the learning materials were effective so that they were appropriate for use in the local content learning process.Keywords: effectiveness, local content learning materials, folklores, character education

AbstractThis study aims to develop traditional-expression-based learning materials for Javanesereceptive skills as character education media for junior high school (JHS) students. Thiswas a research and development study. The research product was a model of learningmaterials relevant to Javanese learning needs at JHS. The developed learning materialswere in the form of story discourses entitled proverbs containing character values. Thelearning materials were packed in an anthology of short stories and a short movie CD usingJavanese of the ngapak [a], Surakarta [$û], dan Pati [ m] dialects. The learning materials forthe [a] dialect were used at JHSs in the areas around Kebumen and Pekalongan. Those forthe [$û] dialect were used in the areas around Surakarta, Salatiga, and Semarang. Thosefor the [ m] dialect were used in the areas around Pati and Blora. The results of the productevaluation showed that the products were good with scores of 4.35 for the book and 4.50for the short movie CD. The model of the materials could be used as media to improvereceptive skills and inculcate values through character education into students.

Moral setbacks that occur in adolescent level students experience a significant increase, not infrequently these events occur in the world of education in Indonesia. Strengthening character education is one way to reduce the effects of moral loss on students. So that the character values must be built in accordance with religious teachings and which have been determined by the government such as religiosity, mutual cooperation, independence, national and integrity. These values can be included in school programs through the integration of intraculicular, kokulikuler and extracurricular integration. In this study focuses on strengthening the existing character education in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Park by including character habituation through local content learning, extracurricular activities and habituation activities. So it can be ensured that all student activities are based on strengthening character education. This study uses descriptive-qualitative research which results of the research are a translation of the sources obtained in the form of written and oral data and environmental observations.

This research is intends develop integrated thematic learning materials by using discovery learning (DL) model in the 5th grade of elementary school. It categorize this research into research and development study. The model includes four phases, defining, designing, developing, and disseminating phases. However, it did not include the disseminating phases. The subjects of the research were 5th grade students. The results of the research show that the validity score of the learning materials developed is 3,36. Questionnaire and interviews with the teachers and the students reveal that the materials developed are practical. The score given by the teachers is 96, 43%, and by the students is 84, 5%. Based on the results, we conclude it that the integrated thematic learning materials developed by using (DL) model are valid and practical to be use in the learning process.

This study was a research and development, with the aim of producing the development of Indonesian language learning materials based on local wisdom. There were three steps in this research and development. The first was a preliminary study. It was the literature studies and field studies. The second was the development study starting from analyzing the development of learning materials, the design of the initial product (prototype), and the development of Indonesian learning materials based on local wisdom. The third was an evaluation. It was conducted to test the effectiveness and feasibility of the development of Indonesian language learning materials based on local wisdom. The data of test results show that students’ average score reaches 82.31 from 30 students who were tested. The highest score is 87.70, and the lowest score is 73.60. Of the 30 students who worked on the student worksheet, there are 25 students (83.33%) who have a very high score category, and five students (16.67%) are in the high score category. Based on the learning outcomes regarding the mastery standard of the class namely 75%, the data show that students' work has been completed because there are 90% of 30 students who have reached the mastery standard of the class. Therefore, the use of Indonesian language learning materials based on local wisdom is feasible and suitable to be applied in accordance with the level of capabilities and characteristics of the first-grade students in SMA Negeri 3 Palopo.

This study aims at (1) identifying the target needs, and learning needs of students, (2) developing appropriate English speaking learning materials for grade VII students of SES Program at SMPIT ABY. This research was a research and development study consisting of seven steps: needs analysis, developing course grid, developing first draft, getting the expert judgment, trying out the materials, evaluating and revising the materials, and writing the final draft. The subjects were grade VII students of SES Program at SMPIT ABY. The data were collected using questionnaires and an interview guide. The results found that the target needs of grade VII students of SES program at SMPIT ABY are the English speaking learning materials which are related to Islamic contents. Their learning needs are related to the goal, input, setting, procedure, teachers’ role, and students’ role. Four units were developed based on the target and learning needs. The interval mean value of each task component in all units of the developed materials is between 2.52< Ẍ ≤ 3.27and 3.28 < Ẍ ≤ 4.03. This indicates that, the materials are appropriate to grade VII students of SES Program at SMPIT ABY.Keywords: speaking, learning materials and saturday English school program

ABSTRACT:This study aims to develop a model of learning for children aged 4-5 years inestablishing the character of independence, discipline and honesty in children. This research usesresearch and development method, the outline has stages: 1) preliminary study, to identify theimplementation of character formation learning in kindergarten; 2) Development of characterformation learning model to form self-reliance, discipline and honesty. This stage is conductedthrough draft I (TK Al Husna, Bekasi) and draft II (Marsudirini TK,Jakarta). Model developmenttest (final draft) is conducted in TK Wijaya,Tangerang and TKAisyiyah, Bogor. The resultsshowed: 1) Children are not dependent on the parents and teachers in following the learning inschool; 2) More courageous; 3) More open; 4) Already understand the rules / school rules.Condition of teachers: 1) better able to realize the learning objectives; 2) able to developcharacter formation learning materials; 3) able to develop activity of character formationlearning activity and 4) able to conduct evaluation of learning result properly and correctly. Abstract: The objectives of this study are to describe the existing civic education learning, develop the model of civic education learning, and measure the effectiveness of the model of civic education learning based on the local wisdom. This research and development study was carried out in three stages, i.e., preliminary study, development, and model effectiveness test. The data in this study were collected through interview and observation. The results of the research are, first, there are strength, weaknesses, chances, and obstacles in civic education learning. Second, the development of the model of civic education learning based on the local wisdom is presented in the form of the syntax of learning model through the practice of cooperative learning of Problem Based Learning and Value Clarification. Third, the model of civic education learning can be categorized as “effective” based on the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The model of civic education learning based on the local wisdom is able to improve the score of character and nation identity by 80% and the mastery learning at least 75%. Data diperoleh melalui penelitian pengembangan, dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan uji efektivitas model. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut, pertama, dalam pembelajaran PKn terdapat kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman. Kedua, pengembangan model pembelajaran PKn berbasis kearifan lokal dikemas dalam sintak model pembelajaran, melalui praktik pembelajaran kooperatif Problem Based Learning dan Value Clarification. Ketiga, model pembelajaran PKn tergolong efektif berdasarkan kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Model pembelajaran PKn berbasis kearifan lokal mampu meningkatkan skor karakter dan jati diri bangsa sebesar 80% serta ketuntasan belajar sekurang-kurangnya 75%. Mastering science process skill is very beneficial in problem solving process. This research aimed to develop teaching materials such as science process skill-based textbooks on energy and its changes. The method used in this research was research and development, by using the 4D design, which include define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research and development method were used to produce a product and to test its efficiency. The result showed that the learning material fulfill the assessment criteria. The mean validation result of textbook showed a number of 3.58 indicated as a good category. Based on T test, it was proven that the use of textbooks is indeed influential towards the development of students’ science process skill.

The goal of this research and development study is to gain the design for financial literacy education through fiqh mu’āmalāt learning program. It was gained a syllabus that completed by lesson plan, student worksheets, nor assessment instrument as well, that validated by experts and practitioners and reliability counted based on test.
