This article describes a study conducted in Malta on pupil voice in the role of assessor. The purpose of the study was to provide a fresh perspective on school quality assurance in Malta, by asking those who are directly affected – the pupils themselves. The data provided by the study could help educational leaders, together with the whole school community to understand how schools in Malta are perceived and judged by pupils. The results could provide valuable knowledge for more effective and more efficient appraisal of schools. Ultimately, the findings could shed light on proposals for better-quality schools in Malta. The main research question of the study was: From the pupils’ perspective, what are the quality indicators of a good school? The article describes how, and why, the study adopted a mixed methods approach, gathering both quantitative and qualitative data to address the research questions in a way that allowed multiple perspectives to be considered. The main research instrument was a questionnaire survey, collecting largely quantitative data, in which 1618 pupils participated. This was complemented by qualitative data collected through focus group sessions with pupils, group interviews with student councils and one-to-one interviews with heads of schools and policymakers. Data was gathered from a total of 42 different schools.

In Hungary healthcare finance has decreased in proportion with the GDP, while the health status of the population is still ranks among the worst in the European Union. Since healthcare finance is not expected to increase, the number of practicing doctors per capita is continuously decreasing. In the coming years it is an important question that in this situation what methods can be used to prevent further deterioration of the health status of the Hungarian population, and within this is the role of the quality approach, and different methods of quality management. In the present and the forthcoming two articles those standpoints will be summarized which support the need for the integration of quality assurance in the everyday medical practice. In the first part the importance of quality thinking, quality management, quality assurance, necessity of quality measurement and improvement, furthermore, advantages of the quality systems will be discussed. This study assessed the influence of teacher’s characteristics and other related factors in the implementation of Environmental Education curriculum in secondary schools in Cross River State, Nigeria. Two research designs were used, survey inferential and Expost facto research design. The study is located in the department of Environmental Education, University of Calabar, Nigeria. Two research questions converted into two hypotheses were formulated for the study.  A sample of three hundred (300) respondents were selected using the multistage random sampling technique comprising of twenty five (25) lecturers and two hundred and seventy five (275) postgraduate and final year undergraduate students in the department of Environmental Education, University of Calabar. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire, the instrument administration was done by the researchers and same were collected 100%. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis and regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 significance level and 298 and 290 degrees of freedom respectively. The result shows that teacher’s characteristics do significantly influence Environmental Education curriculum implementation in secondary schools. The regression analysis also shows that 6 factors listed impedes the implementation of Environmental Education curriculum, while four were not significant factors influencing Environmental Education curriculum in secondary schools. It was however recommended that teachers with competence in pedagogic knowledge of Environmental Education with classroom management skill should be employed to drive the process, while arrangement should be put in place to make Environmental Education a subject for students to offer and write in final senior secondary school examination among other.

The article outlines the conceptual framework for adapting Ukrainian higher education to the Standards and Recommendations for Quality Assurance in the European higher education area. The role of the Bologna Declaration in ensuring the quality of higher education in Europe has been explained. The conceptual foundations and the essence of standards and recommendations on quality assurance in the European higher education area have been defined. The Ukrainian realities of the adaptation of higher education of Ukraine to the educational European standards of quality have been characterized.

This study examined principals’ administrative effectiveness in the implementation of quality assurance standards in public secondary schools in Edo and Delta States. To guide the study, three hypotheses were raised. The study adopted the descriptive research design. The population of the study comprised all the principals and teachers in the public secondary schools in Edo and Delta States, Nigeria. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 240 principals and 720 teachers from the schools. Data was collected using ‘Administrative Effectiveness and Implementation of Quality Assurance Standards Questionnaire (AEIQASQ)’ to find out principals’ level of administrative effectiveness in the implementation of quality assurance standards using the Normative mean of 62.5 which was established from the instrument as the benchmark for effectiveness. The findings revealed that principals’ administrative effectiveness was high in the public secondary schools in Edo and Delta States. There was also a significant relationship between administrative effectiveness and implementation of quality assurance standards in the States based on principals’ gender and experience. It was therefore recommended that since principals in public schools are effective, Government should provide them with adequate funds and all necessary support to ensure that quality assurance standards are fully implemented in the schools. Also, experience and gender should be considered in appointing principals among other criteria as experienced female principals were found to be more effective.

The focus of this paper is to discuss an enhancing approach to the maintenance of physical education curriculum facilities and equipment in schools. In the course of doing this, the role of administrative policy, finance, information, process studies, proficiency and attitude measures, follow-up studies, programme improvement, making decisions about individuals; and administrative regulation were elucidated upon. The writer further explained the role and importance of Teacher’s Aptitude, Magnitude and Attitude (TAMA) and Teacher’s Aptitude Disposition and Attitude (TADA) on the outcome of physical education curriculum programme evaluation. This article discusses the role of the family in the social development of children with special needs in an inclusive educational environment, in connection with which the study addresses a new aspect of the interaction between the teacher and the child’s family, the interaction of the teacher (teacher) and parents of children with developmental disabilities is highlighted in a variety of areas, students in secondary schools or attending kindergartens. The purpose of the study is to assess the role of the family in the adaptation of children with developmental disabilities, studying in secondary schools or attending kindergartens. To achieve this goal, the author defines a range of research tasks: to study the historical and philosophical foundations of the role of the family in raising children with special needs; highlight the role of the family in implementing early intervention programs in secondary schools; substantiate the main stages that any school must go through, striving to create a more fruitful relationship between the school, family and community. The author stated the following results as a scientific novelty: general recommendations have been developed so that parents feel confident, competent and can work more productively together with teachers (educators) when children visit kindergarten groups (classes). As a result of the study, the author came to the conclusion that the process of teaching children with special needs in a comprehensive school is most effective in the interaction of the teacher and the family of the child.
