Women's lives are generally in the domestic, where women do to raising children, taking care of their families, and husbands. Women are under the rule of men who always dominate their lives. Male domination applies among patriarchal. Many women are unable to resist this situation and surrender to accepting their situation. Novel Gadis Pesisir written by Ninuk Y Kusmiana in 2014 raised the story of women's lives and their problems. It tell the lives of fishermen on the island of Irian in 1970. They live poorly, and are very dependent on nature and the sea to feed them. The main character in this novel is Halijah, a young girl who lives as a poor fisherman child. She must work hard to help her parents do homework. She wants to rebel against the poor life she lived during her life. The problem in this article is the way of women motivate themselves to be better positioned in fishermen village on the island of Irian. While the purpose of this research is to find out the position of women among fishermen village. The research method used in this article is descriptive analysis and it uses literature study as the technique to collect the data. Gender role theory, symbolic capital, and sociology of literature are used to examine the existing problems, besides the theory of character in this novel. The description of existing data is done so that this article can run as expected. The findings data are described in such a way that they are analyzed.

The purpose of this study is to assess the human resources sectors of transport, telecom­munications and tourism in a global perspective. This study is a literature study with descriptive analysis method to describe the existing problems and provide recommenda­tions to anticipate the world’s rapidly growing trend. The results show that the increasing mastery of foreign languages and technology has become an absolute requirement that Indonesian human resources can compete on a global level. However, the state, business, and society must work together in forming a mental attitude, promote an understanding of the religion, and raise the nation ideology since early stage so that it can minimize the negative impacts of globalization.

The debate on whether microfinance genuinely alleviates poverty has captivatedmany researchers to investigate this issue. The results are mixed up and varied.Hence, this study aims to convey how the schemes of microfinance can deal with poverty, especially in Indonesia. Moreover, this study also investigates thesustainability of microfinance institutions in dealing with the trade-off betweensocial goal and profit goal. This study employs a descriptive analysis approach with literature study data collection technique. The discussion of this study reveals that the emergence of microfinance in Indonesia, in any ways, has had a significant role as a source of income for poor or micro entrepreneurs. The schemes of conventional and Islamic have also diversified opportunity to gain funding. However, the mix possible success of microfinance, either high-profit goal or high-social goal, have to be seriously concerned. In this regard, the finding implication of this study is that the management structure requires new approaches to avoid such possible mix results. As the involvement of microfinance with most of unexperienced debtors, microfinance institutions as creditor have to, at least, not only provide financial help for the poor, but also offer non-financial help such as training and good relationship. This can be organized along with extending the deeper credit outreach, even if, for absolute poor.

(Title: Kinkakuji’s novel: Between Reality and Fiction). This paper aims to reveal the similarities between historical or real facts and fiction in Kinkakuji's novel, especially the similarity of Kinkakuji's burner profile to the main character and the timeline equation. The method used in this article is the sociology of literature method and the literature study method. The results showed that there was an equation between the Kinkakuji burner profile and the main character. In addition, there are similarities in time between historical facts and the time frame found in Kinkakuji's novel.

The background of the research is the personality conflict of the main characters in the short story collection Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih. The theory used in this study is Todorov's structural theory and Jacques Lacan's literary psychological theory. This research aimed to analyze and describe: 1) the structure the short story collection Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih, 2) the personality aspects of the main characters in the short story collection Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih, and 3) factors that influence the personality of the main character. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The data source of this research is a short story collection Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih by Tini Kartini. Data collection techniques using a literature study technique. The techniques in processing data are using direct analysis techniques. The instruments in this research use table instruments and data analysis cards. The results of the research are, first, the structure of the story in the short story collection Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih made completely, it is formed by the whole syntactic and semantic aspects, and the story illustrates the imagination that is strengthened by consciousness in the history of the community and life. Second, the personality aspects of the main character can be clearly analyzed based on the results of their (real) needs, their deficiencies (which are imaginary), and their desires (which are symbolic). Third, the personality of the main character can be analyzed because of the factors that influence the personality of the main character consisting of internal factors and external factors. In conclusion, the short story collection of Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih has the personality aspect of the main character in the presence of the psychiatric element of the main character and the factors that influence the personality of the main character's personality.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya konflik kepribadian para tokoh utama dalam kumpulan cerpen Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori struktural Todorov dan teori psikologi sastra Jacques Lacan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan: 1) struktur kumpulan cerpen Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih, 2) aspek kepribadian para tokoh utama dalam kumpulan cerpen Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih, dan 3) faktor yang mempengaruhi kepribadian tokoh utama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerpen Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih karya Tini Kartini. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik studi pustaka. Teknik dalam mengolah data yaitu menggunakan teknik analisis secara langsung. Adapun instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tabel dan kartu data analisis. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu, pertama, struktur cerita dalam kumpulan cerpen Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih dibuat dengan lengkap, artinya dibentuk oleh aspek sintaksis dan semantik yang menyeluruh, serta ceritanya menggambarkan imajinasi yang dikuatkan oleh kesadaran dalam sejarah masarakat dan kehidupan dahulu. Kedua, aspek kepribadian tokoh utama bisa dianalisis dengan jelas berdasarkan hasil kebutuhannya (yang nyata), kekurangannya (yang imajiner), dan hasrat keinginannya (yang simbolik). Ketiga, kepribadian tokoh utama bisa dianalisis karena adanya faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepada kepribadian tokoh utama yang terdiri atas faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Kesimpulannya, kumpulan carpon Jurig Paséa jeung Nyi Karsih mempunyai aspek kepribadian tokoh utama dengan adanya unsur kejiwaan tokoh utama dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejiwaan pada kepribadian tokoh utama.

<p><em>The study aimed to (1) analyze and describe the novel structure, and (2) analyze and explain the sociological aspects in which the main character of the novel. The method of the study was qualitative by using sosiology of literature approach. Literary technique was done by using descriptive analysis. The data was obtained from documents and informants. Data collection technique were conducted through three procedures: (1) reading, (2) finding aspects of literary structure, and (3) finding aspects of sociology of literature. There were three basics to analyze the data. They were data reduction, data presentation, and data withdrawal. Based on the three basics, it can be seen about the life of main character in the novel Seputih Hati yang Tercabik written by Ratu Wardarita, Ida Kusama. The main character was described as a woman who was tough on her household problems that is her failure in marry. Based on data analysis, it is known that the novel talks about the life struggle of the main character accompanying with culture aspect in every place visited by the main character. </em></p><p> </p><p>Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini yaitu : (1) menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan struktur novel, dan (2) menganalisis dan memaparkan aspek sosiologi yang dialami tokoh utama dalam novel. Metode yang digunakan adalah secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Teknik kepustakaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari dokumen dan informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga prosedur: (1) membaca, (2) mencari aspek struktur sastra, dan (3) mencari aspek sosiologi sastra. Terdapat tiga dasar untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan data. Dari ketiga dasar tersebut dapat dihasilkan mengenai keadaan hidup tokoh utama dalam novel Seputih Hati yang Tercabik Karya Ratu Wardarita bernama Ida Kusama. Tokoh utama digambarkan menjadi seorang wanita yang tegar terhadap permasalahan rumah tangganya yaitu berupa kegagalan berumah tangga. Dari analisis data yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa novel tersebut mengenai perjuangan hidup tokoh utama dengan diiringi aspek budaya yang kental di setiap daerah yang didatangi tokoh utama.</p>

This research takes the object of Sebening Syahadat by Diva SR, this work is a novel that tells the story of the journey ofa teenager named Sam who is in the process ofsearching for identity. The journey is filled with interesting twits and turns embelissed with a love story that is very suitable if consumed by the younger generation who are learning to find identit. This study aims to reveal the value motives that led Sam’s character in finding his identity, which expected to be a material for reflection for readers, especially young people who are in the process of discovering his identity, the scope of the problem in this study is to reveal the value motives that affect the character’s psyche. Sam is told to have a rascal character.The research method used in this study took a descriptive qualitative approach, data colletion used was a literature study technique with stages of reading, note taking, coding for futher analysis. The analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis technique.The result of the research in this research process indicate that the mental process of Sam’s character influenced by several factors, including: a. Motives in cultural factors (Situasional Factors), b. The motive for love begins with admiration for the attitude of someone who is full of noble values of character, c. The motive of curiosity and fulfillment of his needs for true value.

This paper aims to determine the policies implemented by the Papua National Narcotics Agency against drug trafficking. This article is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection methods through interviews and literature study. Data analysis using descriptive analysis model. The results showed that the role of BNN Papua is very central in the eastern region and the Indonesian border. The policies that have been planned by BNN with multi-stakeholder have been implemented, but the new modes adopted by the international network vary. The drug subscription policy cannot be carried out by one institution only, it needs to be supported by other government agencies and the community. The need for a serious role for the regional and central government in both preventive efforts and subscription programs in synergy with the Papua Provincial BNN.

Character education is considered the best solution to produce excellent students in character, personality and uphold the nation's noble values. Through local wisdom in each area, such as the Dongkrek dance culture, it is important to understand and improve character education in students. Therefore, it is necessary to explore more deeply character education based on local wisdom by exploring the Dongkrek dance culture to internalize character values in learning art in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the character education of Dongkrek dance and efforts to internalize it in learning arts in elementary schools. This research is qualitative research using descriptive analysis and a library research approach. Five main character educations are explored in the Dongkrek dance, including religion, cooperation, nationalism, independence, and integrity. Meanwhile, efforts to internalize it into art learning are by understanding the contents of the dance, performing, and developing the Dongkrek dance into a show.

Traditional Africans teach ubuntu principles of communality, mutual respect, caring and so forth, but they do not walk the talk with regard to the treatment of widows. In the footsteps of Jesus of Nazareth, Christian communities preach unconditional love, especially for the poor, marginalised and vulnerable. Implementation is, however, grossly lacking in respect of the treatment of widows. There is thus an apparent deliberate uncaring, disrespectful, discriminatory, impolite and unjust treatment of widows in African communities in spite of the ubuntu values and Christian teaching that emphasise love and caring, especially towards the grieving and thus vulnerable widows. Widows seem to be neglected and even oppressed in our time. The aim of this research is to critically examine African traditional widowhood rites and practices with special reference to the comfort or pain to which they subject African widows. The research further aims to examine the behaviour of some African Christians belonging to three congregations of one mainline church to determine whether their treatment of widows resonates with Jesus’ teaching regarding the requisite care of widows. The issue of widowhood in Africa, in terms of the apparent plight of these bereaved and grieving women, needs to be urgently addressed for change in the 21st century. A critical literature study of relevant sources and a newspaper article will be used for this research. My personal experiences and continuing observation as an insider will also inform the research in useful ways.
