Amino acids are well known as natural stimulators of plant growth and are widely used to promote crop yield and quality. Several studies have been conducted to investigate the effects of amino acid (s) as a foliar spray on a variety of plant species. However, the effects of soil amendment of different concentrations of amino acid water-soluble fertilizer on the physiological characteristics, yield, and quality of pepper remain unclear. Following this, three experimental sets of amino acid water-soluble fertilizer in the ratio 1.8: 2.7: 3.6 kg including control (CK) were conducted in Lintao county, Gansu province. The treatments were applied through furrow method at 6 weeks after planting. The results showed that physiological characteristics of the pepper plants, such as chlorophyll a (1.35 mg g−1), and b (0.67 mg g−1), total chlorophyll (2.02 mg g−1), carotenoid (0.63 mg g−1), ETR (26.25 µmol m−2s−1), Fv/Fm (0.75), Qp (0.92) contents of the leaves were increased by the 1.8 kg treatment while NPQ (71.37%) and root activity (2185.52 µg g−1 h−1) were improved by the 3.6 kg treatment compared to the control. Fertilization with 2.7 kg of amino acid water-soluble fertilizer also had a significant influence on fruit length (25.50 cm), and yield of pepper (37.92 t ha−1) while fruit diameter (24.51 mm), firmness (5.30 kg cm−2), fresh (48.10 g) and dry (4.71 g) weights were higher in the 1.8 kg treatment compared to the control. The lowest rate of fertilizer (1.8 kg) applied again resulted in a significant increase in soluble protein (79.79%), capsaicin (5.80 mg g−1), dihydrocapsaicin (1.08 mg g−1), vitamin C (72.33%) and the essential and non-essential amino acid contents of the pepper which ranged from (235.15 to 11.16 µg g−1) and (1,605.10 to 16.63 µg g−1) respectively, while soluble sugar (9.02%) was enhanced by 3.6 kg treatment compared to the control. The findings suggest that soil amendment with low concentration of amino acid water-soluble fertilizer (1.8 kg) could be successfully used to improve the physiological characteristics and fruit quality of peppers in vegetable production.

У статті наведено результати досліджень щодо впливу позакореневого підживлення посівів кукурудзи водорозчинним добривом «Нутрімікс», «Нутрібор» і «Мікро-Мінераліс» на фоні розрахункової норми повного мінерального добрива N158P52K52 (фон) на урожайність та якість зерна  кукурудзи. Встановлено, що застосування позакореневого підживлення на фоні основного удобрення має позитивний вплив на продуктивність досліджуваних гібридів  кукурудзи. На основі аналізу результатів досліджень виявлено, що оптимізація живлення сприяє більш повному розкриттю ресурсного потенціалу рослин та підвищенню врожайності. The results of studies of the influence of foliar feeding crops of corn water-soluble fertilizer «Nutrimiks», «Nutribor» and «Micro-Mineralis» on background calculation rules N158P52K52 complete mineral fertilizer (background) on the yield and quality of corn grain are presented. It was found that the use of foliar feeding on the background of the main fertilizer has a positive effect on the performance of the studied maize hybrids. Based on the analysis of the research results revealed that optimizing nutrition contributes to more complete disclosure of the resource potential of plants and higher yields.

The aim of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the effect of foliar fertilizing with microfertilizers on the yield and quality of oilseeds of spring rapeseed. The research was conducted in 2018-2019 under the conditions of the field experience of the Bunin Yelets State University. In crops of spring rape varieties Reef determined the effects of micronutrients Yara Vita Brassitrel and of a mixture of micronutrients Yara Vita Brassitrel and Yara Vita Bortrak. Yara Vita Brassitrel is a water-soluble fertilizer in the form of a powder, which includes Mg, S, B, Mn, Mo. Yara Vita Bortrak is a liquid fertilizer with a maximum concentration of boron. Non-root fertilizing with these fertilizers was carried out in the phases of 4 real leaves and stalking. There were no differences in the onset of the development phases of spring rapeseed depending on the use of microfertilizers Yara Vita Brassitrel and Yara Vita Bortrak. The positive effect of the studied microfertilizers on the biometric parameters of spring rapeseed was established. The use of the studied micronutrients contributed to the increase in activity clorofila clorofila a and b, carotenoids, the amount of pigments and leaf area assimilating the surface of plants of spring rape. Application of micronutrient fertilizers Yara Vita Brassitrel contributed to the growth of additional plant productivity 1,34 t/ha, a mixture of micronutrients Yara Vita Brassitrel + Yara Vita Bortrak 1,96 t/ha, with yields on the control option 16,25 kg/ha. The experiment was conducted under protected conditions at the Polyhouse Complex, Department of Horticulture (Veg. and Flori.), Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar during the year 2016-2017. The experiment was laid out in Factorial Completely Randomized Design with three replication and 10 treatment combinations, comprising five levels of water soluble fertilizer (1 g/l, 2 g/l, 3 g/l, 4 g/l and 5 g/l) and two frequencies of spray (once a week and twice a week). Plants were maintained in net house conditions (75% shade). The result indicated that among all treatment combinations, D5F2 (NPK 19:19:19 @ 5 g/l twice a week) found to be best in terms of vegetative growth, flowering and productivity of anthurium var. Xavia as it recorded maximum values for all the characters. The treatment combination D5F2 (NPK 19:19:19 @ 5 g/l twice a week) recorded maximum length and breadth of leaf (26.02 cm and 15.48 cm, respectively), plant spread east to west and north to south (62.67 cm and 62.37 cm, respectively), petiole length (36.76 cm), flower stalk length (29.17 cm), spathe length and breadth (9.61 cm and 8.30 cm, respectively) and higher yield of flowers per plant (4.13). It required minimum days (90.93 days) for first flower opening. Hence considering the positive effects on growth, flowering, yield and quality, the treatment combination D5F2 (NPK 19:19:19 @ 5 g/l twice a week) can be considered for adopting at the field level to get better qualitative and quantitative yield.

The range of modern domestic and foreign fertilizers is constantly growing. Now the composition of fertilizers for foliar fertilizing, in addition to the main macronutrients, includes a large amount of trace elements necessary in a specific growing season. Such fertilizers are convenient for the use in tank mixtures with pesticides and are quite popular nowadays. This work is devoted to the comparative analysis of five different combinations of fertilizers: Basaplant (Germany), Nutrimix (EuroChem, Russia), water-soluble fertilizer NPK 20-20-20 (EuroChem, Russia) as a soybean foliar fertilizing in the Orel region. As a result of the research, it was found out that the use of foliar fertilizing has a positive effect on the yield and quality of soybean variety Oak prudence. In terms of soybean yield in comparison with other options, the option with The EuroChem 20-20-20 fertilizer proved to be the best one, which indicated the efficiency of its use in the conditions of the Orel region. High yield of soybean grain in the studied fertilizer application options was due to a large number of beans and seeds on the plant, as well as high seed productivity of these options. The optimal values of the acid index of the oil had variants with EuroChem+Nutrimix and EuroChem 20-20-20. The calculation of the economic efficiency of soybean cultivation based on the variants of the experiment showed that it was the most profitable to cultivate soybeans in the conditions of the Orel region with the use of EuroChem 20-20-20 fertilizer. The profitability of this option was the maximum and amounted to 65%. The use of alternative more expensive fertilizer Basaplant (Germany) as a foliar fertilizer leads to an increase in the cost of production and reduces the profitability of production

Сочетание основного удобрения с листовой и корневой подкормками позволяет получить до 65 т/га плодов перца высокого качества.The action of mineral fertilizers, microcrystalline complex water soluble fertilizer Master and organic mineral nano-fertilizer with growth-stimulating activity Arksoil under drip irrigation on the productivity and quality of sweet pepper of the new hybrid F1 Temp is shown. The combination of basic fertilizer with leaf and root fertilizing allows to obtain up to 65 t/ha of pepper fruits of high quality.

Aim: To determine the impact of soil and foliar application of ZnSO4.7H2O at late stages of wheat as heading initiation (5% ear formation), 100% heading (complete ear formation) and heading initiation and 100% heading along with recommended dose of fertilizer on growth, yield and quality of zero till wheat. Methodology: The field experiment was conducted on zero till wheat. The treatments consisted of control (no Zn), soil application of 12.5, 25, 37.5, 50 kg ha-1 ZnSO4.7H2O and foliar application of 0.5% Zn as one spray at heading initiation (5% ear formation), one spray at 100% heading (complete ear formation) and two sprays at heading initiation and 100% heading with recommended dose of fertilizer. These treatments were evaluated in RBD with three replications. Results: Soil application of 50, 37.5 and 25 kg Zn ha-1 with two foliar sprays of 0.5% at heading initiation (5% ear formation) and 100% heading (complete ear formation) stages gave significantly higher average grain and straw yield and Zn concentration in grain than other treatments, including control. Interpretation: Enhanced application of Zn as soil and foliar application ameliorates soil Zn deficiency and increases protein content in grains, which might influence the quality and yield of zero tilled wheat. Field investigation was carried out to study the influence of quality parameters and nutrient uptake of brinjal hybrids due to application of various levels of water soluble fertilizer. Foliar spray of NPK (19:19:19) at 0.5 per cent and 1% along with 100 and 75% recommended dose of NPK (200:150:100 kg ha-1) with 5 and 7 sprays, each starting from 30 DAT at 10 d interval, formed twenty treatments in two hybrids. Results showed that among the two different concentrations of foliar applied nutrients, 7 sprays of 1% NPK (19:19:19) along with 100 per cent recommended dose of fertilizer (200:150:100 kg ha-1) recorded the ascorbic acid content, total soluble solids (TSS) and total phenol content. Uptake of major nutrients was found to be the highest due to foliar application of 1 per cent water soluble fertilizer (7 sprays) along with 100 per cent recommended dose of fertilizer.

Для обеспечения населения РФ качественной, полезной и экологически безопасной овощной продукцией в требуемом количестве необходимо изучение потенциальной продуктивности новых сортов и гибридов овощных культур, применение современных элементов технологии и продуктов в области агротехнологий выращивания. Хороший вкус, высокое содержание ценных для человека витаминов, микроэлементов и органических кислот вывело сладкий перец в ранг наиболее популярных овощных культур. В мире выведено и культивируется огромное количество сортов сладкого перца. В нашей стране наиболее распространенным сортотипом является перец сладкий (Capsicum annuum), или болгарский. На обыкновенных черноземах Бирючекутской селекционной опытной станции (Новочеркасский район Ростовской области), имеющих слабощелочную реакцию среды, мощный гумусовый горизонт, среднюю обеспеченность подвижным фосфором и высокую обменным калием, в 2017–2018 годах была исследована потенциальная продуктивность перца сладкого гибрида Темп при высоком уровне обеспеченности растений влагой и питательными элементами. Оценено комплексное действие основного внесения расчетных доз минеральных удобрений, капельного орошения, трехкратной подкормки водорастворимыми удобрениями «Мастер» и органоминеральным наноудобрением «Арксойл» на урожайность и качество перца сладкого. Выяснено, что основное удобрение и подкормки влияют, в первую очередь, на число плодов на одном растении, увеличивая их в 2–3,3 раза при незначительном повышении массы плода. Установлено, что без применения минеральных удобрений при капельном поливе было получено 25–27 т/га плодов. Использование рекомендованной дозы удобрений N120P120K120 увеличило урожайность перца до 50,5 т/га, а комплексное применение основного удобрения с 3-кратной корневой подкормкой водорастворимым удобрением «Мастер» позволило получить урожайность перца до 64,8 т/га. Наиболее высокая продуктивность растений была получена при комплексном использовании расчетной дозы на урожайность 90 т/га в сочетании с корневой подкормкой – 86,8 т/га при хорошем качестве плодов перца. To provide the population of the Russian Federation with high-quality, healthy and environmentally friendly vegetable products in the required amount, it is necessary to study the potential productivity of new varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops, use modern elements of technology and products in the field of agricultural technologies. Good taste, high content of vitamins, microelements and organic acids valuable for humans have made sweet peppers one of the most popular vegetable crops. A huge number of varieties of sweet peppers have been bred and cultivated in the world. In our country, the most common cultivar type is bell pepper (Capsicum annuum) or Bulgarian. On ordinary chernozems of the Biryuchekutskaya selection experimental station (Novocherkassk district of the Rostov region), which have a weakly alkaline reaction of the environment, a powerful humus horizon, an average supply of mobile phosphorus and high exchangeable potassium, in 2017-2018, the potential productivity of sweet pepper the level of supply of plants with moisture and nutrients. The complex effect of the main application of the calculated doses of mineral fertilizers, drip irrigation, 3-fold top dressing with water-soluble fertilizers Master and organomineral nanofertilizers Arxoil on the yield and quality of bell peppers was evaluated. It was found that the main fertilization and feeding affect, first of all, the number of fruits per 1 plant, increasing them by 2-3.3 times with a slight increase in the weight of the fruit. It was found that without the use of mineral fertilizers with drip irrigation, 25-27 t/ha of fruits were obtained. The use of the recommended dose of fertilizers N120P120K120increased the yield of pepper to 50.5 t/ha, and the complex application of the main fertilizer with 3-fold root feeding with the water-soluble fertilizer Master allowed to obtain the yield of pepper up to 64.8 t/ha. The highest plant productivity was obtained with the integrated use of a calculated dose for a yield of 90 t / ha in combination with root feeding - 86.8 t/ha with good quality pepper fruits.
