In this study, we attempted to analyze the predominant issues that have emerged from the fire door litigation process that has been conducted until recently, and to suggest alternatives. The results of analyzing the contents and outcomes of fire door litigation were confirmed by the issue of the durability period of the fire doors’ fire protection performance. Further, they were supported by the confirmation of the fire protection performance of fire doors that have already been installed, and the extent of the defect repair when the fire door performance is not confirmed. To solve these issues, performance verification must be executed at the manufacturing, delivery, and construction stages of fire doors. In the use stage, after completion, the user (Resident) should be the subject of performance maintenance. To this end, it is necessary to introduce the duty of maintenance and management of fire doors at the stage of use and the introduction of a professional inspection system that carries out inspections. Additionally, since the soundness of the fire door frame was confirmed through simulation and test results, the fire protection performance of the fire door in use can be confirmed by only separating the door. This can be achieved by excluding the door frame and conducting a test. It is considered that performance can be sufficiently secured despite the performance of the fire door being confirmed to be inferior, even if performance is improved by limiting the repair range to fire door pairs.

Perimeter control is used to regulate transfer flows between urban regions. The greedy control (GC) method takes either the minimum or the maximum for the control inputs. Although it has the advantage of simplicity for real-time feasibility, a few existing studies have shown that it can sometimes have negative impacts because of unnecessary transfer flow restrictions. To reduce unnecessary restrictions, this study provides a method that gives flexibility to ease the strict conditions of the conventional GC. First, we propose a modification as a way of granting exceptions to the flow restriction under specific conditions. Second, we develop an algorithm to determine the threshold dynamically for accepting the exception, by comparing the possible outflow loss of the subject region and the possible outflow gain of its neighboring regions. The test results show that this flexible greedy control can handle the balance between the transfer demands and the greed of regions for securing the supply level, while increasing the performance in both vehicle hours traveled and trip completion.

The standardised testing of school children has been the subject of significant news media attention in recent years in many developed countries around the world. This article examines the reporting of annual National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests in three major Australian newspapers, with a particular focus on the portrayal of school teachers in the coverage. Overall, teachers were presented as strongly opposed to NAPLAN and the publication of test results, yet the newspapers themselves supported the tests as an important accountability measure. Teachers were depicted as trying to influence the testing system through teaching to the test and cheating. They were presented as generally inadequate as teachers, and were blamed for perceived failings in the educational system. These findings point to implications for teacher recruitment and retention, and for journalism education and training.

National Examination is one of the learning results assessment set by the Government, and is ruled at Minister of Education and Culture regulation Number 4 year 2018. The problem discussed in this study is the low percentage of students achieving Graduare Competence Standard/SKL 55 in the nationale examination tryout for mathematics. One of the alternatives to solve this problem is the Peer Tutoring learning method using Whatsapp Messenger application asisstance, in which the subject is grade 12 AP students of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan academic year of 2018/2019. The research method implemented is the classroom action research. The peer tutoring learning method using Whatsapp Messenger application asisstance was carried out both inside and outside the classroom by providing a smaller member whatsapp group and a  classroom whatsapp group. Each small group consists of 6 people in which there were 1-2 peer tutors. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, there was an increase at the results of the tryout of mathematics national exam tryout for grade 12 AP students after peer tutoring learning method using whatsapp messenger application asisstance was applied, with the total increase up to 50%. This fact can be inferred from the difference of the test results percentage for the first tryout and the third tryout which is from 10% to 60%, while the average score is increased from 34.96 to 60.22 by 25.26 points.

Research that takes the subject 100 employees at PT. X in Surabaya branch fromand marketing supporting division to find the motivation to work and internal locus ofcontrol and job satisfaction in a correlational study. Data collected through questionnairesand analyzed by multiple regression test. The results show the value of F = 3.449; p =0.0036 (p <0.05), which means that work motivation and internal locus of controlcombination has a significant correlation with employees job satisfaction. It can besaid that the hypothesis that states motivation and internal locus of control on employeesat the marketing and supporting division have a relationship with employee satisfaction, that means it can be accepted. The value of R2 = 0.066 describe motivation and internallocus of control simultaneously have contributed effectively to job satisfaction up to 6.6%and that is a quite low in value. Partial test results of work motivation are t = 2.353; p= 0.021 (p <0.05), which means there is a significant positive correlation between workmotivation and job satisfaction, while the result of internal locus of control are = -0.572;p = 0.568 (p> 0.05), that means there is no correlation between the internal locus ofcontrol and job satisfaction. Keywords : Job satisfaction, work motivation, internal locus of control

There are two problems that underlie the classroom action research. First, the learning process is still dominated by lectures method and less empowering environment to develop the lesson materials. As a result, student competence is still far from expectations. Based on preliminary observations, in terms of daily test results VIII C grade on the subject matter “reflection and refraction of light”, indicating learning outcomes are still low. Classical completeness only reached 33.33% is still far from the minimum limit is 75%, and the average value of daily tests only 66.85, it is still far minimum completeness criteria is 75.00. While looking at the aspect of the achievement of scientific character, especially creativity, the majority of students are still far from the creative criteria. The qualitative value of creativity is considered good only 37.04%and 18.52% categorized quite creative. The remaining 44.44% of students categorized as less creative. Second, the quantity of waste every day are increasing the rate of production and consumption patterns. Such concerns foster ideas to make KIT Hand Madebased waste, such as milk cans, plastic bottles, syringes printer ink, plastic straws, plastic pipes, and others. Classroom action research carried out in three cycles. Cycle III, students who demonstrate creativity with a good reach 88.89%. Classical learning completeness reached 81.48% with an average value of 79.07. The science competence have increased significantly.
