This article empirically assesses perceptions of Ethiopian secondary school teachers and education administrators on the challenge of quality of education, opportunities and explores viable options to improve the quality. To this effect, the descriptive survey method was employed. The information used in this study was obtained through questionnaires random sampling technique which was employed to select 72 Directors, 50 vice directors, 71 Supervisor 52 unit leader and 638 teachers targeted respondents respectively into two secondary schools. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The result shows that in contrast to remarkable achievements in access, progress to date in raising the quality of education in Ethiopia has been limited. Most of the respondents agree that the achievement in gross enrolments is good but in quality, at a low rate and has learning achievement in education system remains unacceptably low. This has become a source of concern for government officials, educators, parents, teachers, students, and other stakeholders. In addition, the results confirm that curriculum content needs to be relevant to a labour market where meta-cognitive skills are at a premium while providing schools with the flexibility to create an instructional environment suited to local conditions and revising teacher training method in university or colleges.

The purpose of this study are: (1) Finding out how much is the influence of school culture on educational quality, (2) Finding out how much is the influence of the competence of teachers to the quality of education, and (3) Finding out how much is the influence of school culture and teacher competence collectively to the quality of education. The population in this study was all State junior high school teachers throughout the Sub District of Randudongkal District of Pemalang, the number of the population was 225 people, and the samples were selected using proportionate random sampling technique as many as 69 people. The data analysis was using descriptive analysis, the test of data requirements, and analysis, / regression test. The test results for the prerequisite of research data it is concluded that the data were normally distributed, homogeneous, linear, does not incur multicollinearity and does not incur heteroskedasticity. While from the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the school cultures to the quality of education in the total of 0.911 with a contribution of 82.8%. There is a significant effect of teacher competence on the quality of education at 0.790 with a contribution of 61.9%. There is the influence collectively on the School Culture and Teachers Competence against Education Quality of 0.977 with a contribution of 95.3%

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on inpatient satisfaction at the Bahagia Hospital in Makassar City. The research method used is a quantitative survey method using an explanatory approach. A sample of 100 people who are inpatients at the Bahagia Hospital using accidental sampling technique. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that the quality of service had a significant influence on the satisfaction of inpatients at the Bahagia Hospital. This shows that service quality has an important role so that service delivery can provide results in accordance with what patients expect

Public secondary school education is rapidly growing in Nigeria, requiring huge investments by government. To justify the level of investments and improve the quality of education in the secondary schools, there is need for proper monitoring and evaluation through inspection. This paper examines the extent to which inspectors complied with inspection principles of independence, impartiality, transparency and mutual respect in public secondary schools in Ekiti state, Nigeria. This is with the view to improving the quality of education in the state. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 147 respondents, comprising 120 teachers, 12 principals, and 15 inspectors. Data were collected using survey questionnaires complemented with interview guide. Data were analysed with the use of frequency counts, percentage and means. Results showed that 46.7% of the inspectors indicated compliance with the inspection principles of independence, 40% with impartiality and transparency, and 53.3% with mutual respect. On the average, about 47% of the inspectors indicated compliance with all the inspection principles. The study concluded that inspectors’ compliance with inspection principles is low and therefore, intensifying their compliance with inspection principles is imperative to improving the standard of education in public secondary schools.

Service quality based on education to evaluate student satisfaction at MIS Mathlail Khoir. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the quality of educational services on student satisfaction as well as to explain the quality of educational services and student satisfaction. The method used is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis with a population of 405 students and the sampling technique is cluster sampling of 100 students assigned to students in class V and class VI. These instruments are observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis method was carried out using correlation techniques and simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 26 software. The results showed that the quality of education services and student satisfaction in the school was said to be high with a mean value of X 75.83 while Y was 48.34. And shows that there is a significant influence between the quality of education services on student satisfaction from the regression equation obtained by Y'= 33.889+0.191X showing that there is a positive or unidirectional relationship, based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination of 10.5% while 89.5% is influenced by other variables not examined.

This paper analyzes the teachers' perceptions of the reality of geography education in Nepal. The term teachers' perceptions refer to a how teachers attach meaning to experience in the realities of geography education. It is based teachers involved in teaching geography at the campus university level in the Kathmandu Valley. It looks at the contribution that geography can make in the education of young people and the flourishing of the subject of geography in Nepal. For this purpose, a descriptive survey method was employed. The information used in this paper was obtained through questionnaires, focus group discussions, and observation. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select teachers. The results indicated that input is a dominant factor for the quality of geography education. Other factors like government policy, student interests, job markets, and perceptions of people, planners, policymakers, and administrators are also indicators that received the lowest rating of geography education in the study area. The findings show that the relationship between policies and practices of teaching-learning processes influenced the teachers’ perception of geography education.

This study aims to find out there is a direct effect of school-based management in the professionalism of teachers. Subjects were teachers who served in secondary schools in Central Lampung, participants were 40 teachers. The study used a survey method causal. The study proved that the school-based management influence on the professionalism of teachers. This means that peninggkatan professionalism of teachers is essentially the improvement of the quality of education within the scope of narrow and wide, can be done by increasing the school-based management.

The aim of this study is to analyze the contribution of the implementation of management of organizational facilities and communication both partially and simultaneously to the quality of educational services. The method used is descriptive survey method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique uses questionnaires that have gone through validity and reliability tests. The results of the study indicate that: Both partially and simultaneously the implementation of management of organizational facilities and communications contribute positively to the quality of education services. Starting from the results of these studies, the authors suggest: (1) In order to improve service to students, so that the completeness of existing facilities is optimized in quantity and maintenance; (2) The school should accommodate complaints, suggestions, and aspirations of the community, so that service to the community increases, especially those related to improving the quality of education; (3) Always establish friendship and communication with parents of students in an effort to jointly encourage the improvement of the quality of education services.

This study aims to determine how service quality of Building Permit in District Kramat JatiResidential, East Jakarta. The population in this research is 48 people in the district who filed a Keramat Jati Residential petition. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. The sampling technique used in this study is Incidental Sampling, which sampling technique by coincidence, that anyone who by chance met with the researchers can be used as a sample, which is deemed suitable by research. Then the amount used as many as 48 people. Theory framework used in this study is Ratminto and Winarsih 2006. Service is an activity or a description of the activities that take place in the direct interaction between a person with another person or machine physically and provide customer satisfaction. The result is that the services provided by the Kramat Jati’s subdistrict officer for the community applicant Building Permit Residential, located in the Good criteria with interpretation number is 3.52. The conclusion of this study is still a lack of discipline of officers in the service process that makes the event of delay that hinder the implementation of the applicant service Building Permit Residential, the researchers recommend the discipline of officers need to be improved so that every service process can run well and can improve quality of care provided to the public.Keywords : Quality Service, Building Permit, the Applicant Building Permit

The objective of this research is to study the inluence of development effectiveness and education and training quality on the driver’s technical skills of PT XYZ in Jakarta. The method of research is a survey using Path Analysis. The respondents for this survey are 35 drivers selected by applying proportional random sampling technique. The results of this research show that: (1) the effectiveness of development directly inluencing the driver’s technical skills is 35.8%, (2) the quality of education and training directly inluencing the driver’s technical skills is 33.8%, and (3) the effectiveness of coaching directly inluencing the quality of education is 25.5% The study concludes that technical skills can be improved through effective development and the quality of education and training, and the quality of education and training can be enhanced through effective development as well.
